Did anyone else note that the dead body found in last weeks (the 13th) Hawaii 5-0 was next to the DVC resort?

At first I thought it was at the resort, but, it was the next cove over.

Dead body? After I saw Grace Park I do not remember anything else about the show.....

Funny you mention it-- I was searching google maps to try and find out where they were while I watched!

Don't bother... The show is not geographically accurate! We watch and laugh the entire time about the inaccuracies. One minute they are driving in Waikiki and 2 seconds later they are on the other side of the island. They also make up names as well... This past weeks episode one of the bad guys was at the Ikalani Hotel!

I did figure there was quite a bit of creative license being taken-- I can't imagine any hoteliers would appreciate the real name of their businesses being used as crime scenes!

Back in 1996 or so, I was working the Reference Desk at our Main Library and got a call from the producers of "Profiler". They were asking about the names of some of the local hospitals. They wanted to know the names so that they could name a hospital in the episode, filmed locally, that was not the name of a real hospital.

LOL we laugh every time they drive over the Ford Island bridge to get to the "port" LOL...but we do love the show!!

So true, and then the cruise ship eposode was shot at Hotel in Kahala, but we enjoy it all anyway.

Off topic, but when did you become Conan the Dragonslayer and why? Inquiring minds want to know.;)

Didn't notice the body near the resort, but did notice that the boat "The Searcher" was the same boat that was "Penny's boat" from Lost. Not sure if it was in the same episode or not.

Hey Diane!

Sorry about the delay, but, I haven't been on for a while.

I got to be The Dragonslayer a few years ago in May (I think it was the same year as when I was in Minnesota). It was EMH Evening at Everest and we were standing in the "Front Car" line. A guy and his girlfriend/daughter? decided to crawl under the metal dividers that seperate that area from the main line. My wife pointed this out to the CM in charge of the line and the guy, who seemed to be tipsy, started becoming verbally abusive towards my wife. We ignored him up to the point where he started moving close to my wife and dropped the "F-bomb". I think 'convinced' him to back away from her quick. The CMs then moved him away to a private area and we got on the ride.

After the ride was over, the CM in charge asked us to step into "the Tower" for our view of the matter. Turns out the guy lied about what he did also (the original CM's report lined up with ours). This CM apologized to us profusely and gave us some FPs and sent us on our way. The guy was still in a 'holding' area waiting to get on the ride.

The next day, we were in France and met Sleeping Beauty. Aurora asked my wife if I was her Dragonslayer, and, said "Yes, I was" and explained what happened. Aurora was impressed.
