having visitors at AKL

We are staying at the AKL and my husband's parents are planning on coming to visit us one day, will they be able to allowed to come to the resort?

Yes, have your parents over and don't worry about a thing.

Many people come over to view the animals and see this incredible Disney resort without staying there.

There is an issue with non-resort guests using the resort pool... but I was just there and it was not busy at the pool and they do not ask for resort I.D. so I would not worry.

If it makes you feel better you can ask at the front desk if it is okay to have your parents use the pool with you. The worst they can say is no.

If they are traveling by car, when you ask at check in, you may want to get them a parking pass. If they are comming by bus don't worry. We go to eat at Boma's and we travel by bus.

Last year our cousins - all 7 - rode the bus over from the campground. They just walked in as if they were staying there. They changed in our room, and we had a super day at the pool and eating lunch. No one ever looked twice at them.

I would think if they are driving you can leave their name at the front desk and they can get through the gate to park.

My husband's parents are dropping us off at the airport in Nashville, then they are going to drive to Daytona, while we are at Disney so they plan on driving over to Orlando to visit us for a day and maybe go to one of the water parks and I know that my mother-in-law would love to see the resort, so I will leave their name at the front desk.
