Hi, we just booked a very unexpected trip for 4/29-5/5 and are having a little trouble with some PSs. Any advice? We are trying to get Chef Mickeys for the first night because we have done it that way the last two years and it put us in a good frame of mind for the rest of the trip, the earliest time they have is 8:45pm. Too late for the little ones and to complicate matters we have 10 people. We don't have park passes for that first day. We are also trying to get either one of the princess breakfasts. I know we are extremely late for this and have been fortunate to do CRT the last two years but this is the one meal my 5 year old niece requested and WDW is for kids right, we would even take a PS for 4 and just let the little ones go with their parents. Or my niece requested dinner with Cinderella at Park Faire but that also has nothing before 8pm the entire trip. Will things open up closer to the dates? Sorry this is so long but it is frustrating trying to plan with less than a month and having everything booked up.

I would keep trying for the 1900 for your first night. Since Cindy's is so hard to get, I think you may fare a little better here. Also, try making 2 separate reservations with smaller parties, Like 5 people at one table and 5 at another. You may have better luck this way.

Just keep trying. When I tried to get PS at Liberty Tree or Crystal Palace for character dinners during Pres week I couldn't get either one in advance for a reasonable time. I even tried early am the day we were spending in MK and guess what... I had my choice of either dinner at the time I wanted! (we were a group of 5). So try, try, try and try again!

Thanks for the support, we have tried two parties of 5 but no luck so far. I will keep trying and hopefully get lucky.

We've had good luck on several occasions with walkups. Twice at Chef Mickeys and twice at CP. Don't give up. I am sure something will come thru! For sure you won't starve:D
