Having trouble with iTunes and getting the podcast

Hi:

I'm subscribed to the podcast through iTunes. I simply can't get iTunes to download the May 6th discussion show. It doesn't show up as though it doesn't exist. I've updated the podcast, and the May 6th discussion show never shows up. I can download it manually from the podcast website, but it worries me that other shows haven't shown up as well. Has anyone else had this problem with iTunes?

Usually problems like this are caused by issues with the how the episode was originally posted and iTunes not noticing the fix.

You can force iTunes to reload the podcast feed which should show any deleted or missing episodes.

1. Collapse the podcast in iTunes.
2. Hold down the Option key (Mac) or Alt key (Windows) while clicking on the disclosure triangle.
3. All of the missing episodes should reappear.
4. Get any episodes you want.
