Having Trouble getting FP+

Hey All,

So My trip is August 6-12, and its not time to make FP+ yet but will be in two days. I am a little worried because I made a test, and it said the site doesn't see my tickets, so I tried linking my vacation package but it said the vacation package is already linked to my account, but I am logged in already. Anybody else have this problem before, do you know why?

Is it because its still too early to make the FP+ thats what I think. I hope the reason is because its just to early to make them, but if not any of you know what the problem might be?

Because in two days when I can make them, I want to do this well without any trouble.

It is because of the package. It won't see your tickets until you hit your 60 days out. I had the same problem too.

As maxiesmom stated, it's because of the "package." Info is also in the FP Superthread located at the top of this subforum:

For onsite guests with a room/ticket package, the 60-day prebooking window will not appear until the 60-day mark. Before this point, it is normal for various members and/or their tickets to not appear on the MDX account. The entire traveling party and their tickets will appear at the 60-day mark in almost all cases. It is generally not possible to practice booking FPs beforehand in this situation.

Just made my FP+ this morning for our trip starting August 3 and had no problems getting the exact rides I wanted at the exact times I wanted. Your tickets will appear on the morning you can make them. I made the hard to get FP+, like 7DMT, first and went back and made the others after. Just be ready with a rough schedule of the rides/times you want and you should be fine.

Actually, for a trip starting Aug 6, your 60 day mark is June 7, because July has 31 days.

Yeah I am aware, I have it on the calendar. Thanks anyway. I didn't really count the exact number of days.

with a vacation package your FP+ window will open at 60 days.
you cannot "test" anything before that.

also just an fyi to remember that recently they changed the opening window from midnight to 7am

We arrive on August 3 and our FP day was yesterday, Saturday. We had no problem getting anything we wanted for the times we wanted. However since btmr is closing on Sunday the 8th those FP were slim pickings.

Yeah I heard about BTMR as well, what we plan to do though is go to MK on August 7 and then ride BTMR first thing in the morning maybe even twice.
