Having trouble deleting posts

It seems like I used to be able to delete my own posts on here. Now I can't seem to find the option to do so. This would really help me when I make duplicate posts, etc. Anyone have any ideas? TIA.

I think you can always report a post to a moderator, and they will remove any post for you.

Usually when you accidentley make a duplicate post, like clicking twice because you were not sure if you sent it or not, the moderator will put up a message that tells you that you are making a duplicate post, and will not post it again. As far as deleting a previous post, I never tried it.

You cannot delete one of your posts. I accidentially posted the same thing twice last week and just went in and edited the 2nd one and said "sorry, double post" -

I have also deleted a post and simply edited it and said "deleted by (r name here)". that works also

A moderator can delete the post for you. You can erase the words in the post by going to edit but you can't delete the entire post.
