Having trouble deciding where to eat in Epcot.

We're a family of four (DH, me, DS12 & DS13) They boys are, of course, considered adults. My 13yr old will basically have no problem finding things he will like on adult menus. My 12yr is another story. He has no problem though with buffets, can always find something.

Where in Epcot can we find a buffet for dinner? (especially things that a fussy pain in the butt will find lol)

And how would you rate the buffet?

Beirgarten has a fantastic buffet but if that type of food isnt what you are in to I would walk over to Cape May at the Beach Club, that place is incredible!

Ya know, I was thinking of going to the Biergarten. I'd have to have my DH check the menu. And I'm glad to hear that Cape May Cafe is great, because we're heading there on another night during the week.

Anybody else? I really don't want to eat in "America" since I'm sure we'll have a few burgers throughout the week, using up our CS credits.

Has a good buffet,we have a couple good meals at Norway. :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Just another vote for Biergarten!!! DH and I loved it! Our kids were both 10 and DD found plenty she liked. DS is among the world's pickiest eaters so he ended up eating only a dinner roll! However, our waiter said to us at the end of our meal that he noticed DS only ate a dinner roll and he requested that his supervisor remove DS's charge from our bill!!! It was so nice of him!!!

The Norway meals are ALL princess character meals, FYI.

We did not care for the food at Garden Grill at all - we thought it was pretty bad. Bad enough that we won't go back!

Cape May is very good with a lot of choices. :thumbsup2

What type of food does your picky one eat? I would do Biergarten (our fave) b/c I think he'd be fine with the mac n cheese, buttered noodles, hotdogs, various meats, roasted potatoes, and potato soup- those are all pretty kid friendly. They have so many options there & even my SIL (who only likes roasted chicken, salad, & veggies) loved the place.

Another vote for Biergarten. Lots of food and great entertainment. Norway has great food but princesses at every meal.

Our ultimate fave is LeCellier in Canada, the soup is to die for and the steak is great. The atmosphere for kids is better at Biergarten though.

Coral Reef was great also. If you don't like seafood, they have great steak too.

We love le Cellier in Canada!!!! It has the best steaks. I do not prefer Garden Grill at all!!!

We did not like Garden Grill food at all and the platters were small and it was difficult to get another due to bad service. We also did not care for the Akurshus food so much, but great service and the males of all ages at my table throughly enjoyed the princesses. On the bright side...both my bottomless pits were full after le Cellier--we had the DxDP so that was appetizer, main course, dessert, and of course the to die for bread. Maybe you could skip out the back gate of Epcot to the Cape May buffet at the Beach Club?

You know, if there's a menu-order restaurant the rest of you want to choose, I would be willing to wager that your twelve-year-old would be able to order something satisfactory to him - whether it's a larger portion of something from the kids' menu, or some item from the standard menu cooked completely plain...

So we have made a decision. We've been to Le Cellier a couple times in the past and have LOVED it. But really wanted to try something new this time. We've been to Norway also, but again, wanted something new. Biergarten was a choice. BUT I think we've decided on Coral Reef. Never been and we've heard nothing but good things from here. So Coral Reef, here we come.
