Having some trouble deciding which week to go to Disneyland...

I've always wanted to visit Disneyland at Christmas and I was able to convince the parents to come too! I just can't decide which week is best, in terms of crowds and stuff. I was originally thinking November but the first week of December doesn't look too bad.

I assume you’re thinking 2020 since we are already a week out from Thanksgiving. I feel like the week after thanksgiving is usually a good bet!

I’m probably being biased here as I have only visited the week after Thanksgiving but I think it’s an amazing time to visit. The Mon-Thurs crowds aren’t too bad, the holiday season is obviously in full swing and we just love it.

To me, that's an ideal week. It's still early enough that you won't get the huge holiday rush. And to my way of thinking, it's a better time to experience Christmas than in mid-November -- not because the parks are different, but because once we're past Thanksgiving, most of us mentally move into Christmas-mode.

I don't like huge crowds so I would go the week after.

I vote the week after. Having just left the parks today I didn't feel the Christmas vibe as much as I did last year when I went in December. Two weeks before thanksgiving you would probably have to or get to deal with the parade filming. I suppose it depends on when Thanksgiving is. I agree with others than the mental post thanksgiving vibe matters

I'm inclined to say that week after Thanksgiving, but I wouldn't want to be there on the weekend of Candlelight Processional, so I'd change it to the week before if CP was going on during the week after.

It looks like CP is usually on the first weekend of December, but I will be leaving on Saturday so I should miss it!

For 2020, CP weekend should be 12/5-6 -- it is usually the first full weekend in December.
