I was unsure what board to post this on. I thought since this was the tip board, maybe someone could give me a tip on what to do. :flower:

We are going on the three night wonder cruise, then spending seven nights at wdw. I really, really like my travel agent personally, but her service has just been the pits! A friend of ours recommended her, so we thought all would be good. At first she was very prompt at returning our calls. Now that we have made our reservation, it takes her days, like 4-7 days, to return our call then another 4-7 days till we even get the answer we need. It all started with our deposits. We gave her the cc info. When we got our statement and only the wonder deposit was listed. It took her over a week to return my calls. I had to call wdw myself to even get an answer. She never paid the deposit. :sad2: Once this was corrected (thank goodness we got the resort and price that was prev. qouted) we are still having problems with her. to make a long stort short, I am not very pleased with how things are being handles. I ended up having to book our airfare, I had to book our hotel for the night before at the port. I will be the one making all the PS, because I can not trust her to do so. :scared:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should handle this, or if I can take over our reservations and let her go? I called last Tues for our balance, so we can pay off the vaction, and wouldn't you know it, I am still waiting for a call back.

Sorry to ramble on but, I am so lost at what to do! :confused3

I will tell you I am ALWAYS happy to call back clients ...especially when they are ready to pay and for WDW! :)

Have you thought about contacting her mgr.? When I worked in the office full-time (work p-t from home now), it would only take one call to get things straightened out. With the internet, it is too hard to get clients these days, to treat anyone like this! Good luck! :)

I would either call and ask for the manager or go directly to the office and sit yourself down until she helps you. If you feel that she is not doing her job I would pay all the money up front and tell her you want all your documents immediately to make sure everything is in order. You don't say when you are actually going but if it is in the distant future, you can call and see if you can get all the same prices and then cancel with the travel agent. I would just make sure you ask about the refund policy so that you don't lose any money on it. If you are going in the very near future you really don't have much choice but to stay with her and hope everything goes well. Just make sure you read all the documents carefully. I booked one year with AAA and when I finally got my final payment invoice, it stated that I wanted All Star Music and not Movies like I had reserved. AAA would not do anything to fix the problem.

You could try calling DCL direct (877) 566-0976. I booked online and just called them. They should be able to tell you your balance.
