Having Nightmares About Our DL Vacation!

This is getting downright ridiculous! I'm obsessing so much about our upcoming trip that I'm having nightmares about it!


I dreamed I was viewing the fireworks in the most awful viewing area imaginable. I couldn't even see the castle and only a fraction of the Matterhorn.

Thank God I woke up before the show started!

I had a nightmare that I had to collect fly eggs (my job) from the walls of the Indiana Jones Cave Queue (as opposed to a petri dish).

It was a scary thought indeed...

ive dreamed loads of times that I went to DL and it wasnt really DL it was just like a county fair or something and most of the time I cant get in or im either right by it and cant get in or something or someone is making it difficult for me to get in before it closes

It's all going to be ok... and very fun... truly amazing... incredibly memorable.. awe-inspiring, spiritually invigorating ... and classically magical!!

We try to go to DL every couple of years...it's the only REAL vacation we take as far as I'm concerned.

There's no place on Earth that I love more than Walt's park and it's been 6 long years since I've been to the original. I feel like a little kid looking forward to seeing Santa...only Mickey is better.

WHY does someone have to collect fly eggs? What is the purpose? Is it for medical research? or what? Just curious... I am sure that there is a perfectly logical explaination!!! I just don't know what it is!!! And now my curiosity has peaked!!

Too funny, but very normal. I have them to before I go. But I always dream that I forget my plane ticket on the way to the airport or something.

I, too am having many dreams/nightmares!

I'm always dreaming that something is wrong..things aren't going right and it's not what I'd expected!! Like the county fair comment above, or not getting in, or DL being mysteriously closed....

I wonder what that's all about??

This happens to me everytime I have an upcoming trip as it gets closer. Usually it starts for me about 3 weeks and I start really thinking about everything, making sure everything is in order, then I dream that CRAZY and sometimes stupid things happen!

And since I have a trip coming up in a few weeks, let the weird Disney nightmares begin!!!

Yeah, thats normal for people who truly love their Disney vacations! I dreamed once Peter Pan wasn't working right, it was going really fast, whipping around and my daughter fell out and I was hanging onto her for dear life. I am probably the only person alive who awoke in a cold sweat, screaming because of a Peter Pan nightmare! I also have the usual, I get there, the hotel doesn't have my reservations, Goofy's Kitchen is closed for good and that sort of thing. Its a sad, fun world I live in!!!

You are going to have a wonderful trip. That is a great time of year, no crowds once Veteran's Day is over, the decorations are up and you have a week to enjoy it all!
