Where do you eat at DHS? What do you eat? Do you have any favorites? Do you have a go to quick service location? After all of these years, we just haven't found the right place at DHS for us yet. Thanks in advance for your help!

No favourites. We always end up at the Backlot Express if we really need to eat.
Otherwise, we hop to Epcot.

We try to always do TS at HS. Our favorite is the Sci-Fi- good burgers, great atmosphere! Mama Melrose had good Italian. For QS, The ABC Commissary is hit or miss- but we've had good meals there. Backlot Express is ok, too.

We usually do Mama Melrose. We share a salad and flatbread pizza . Makes for a nice break in A/C.

Hollywood Brown Derby lounge outside. I always get the Cobb Salad and my son just gets whatever he happens to be in the mood for on that day. We also like to eat on the inside but you need an ADR for that, you don't need one for the lounge.

We stick to Table Service too as the QS there is notoriously bad. SciFi is our go to, but we enjoy 50's Prime Time as well. Another option is to get out of the park and take the boat or walk to the Beach Club for lunch at Beaches and Cream.

I never thought about the lounge. Good idea. Thank you!

Do you make an ADR for Beaches and Cream?

Yes, but we've booked it the day before or morning of. You have to be flexible on times but last minute openings do pop up. I have heard people do walk-ups here too but haven't had any experience with that myself.

That is good to hear!

We love it and if you time it right, you can sit at a table close to the rail and watch the Star Wars stage show. Here is my Cobb Salad and wine from a couple of weeks ago.

Popcorn.

Then dinner at Boardwalk / Swan & Dolphin.

I prefer the food at Prime Time, but Sci-Fi is way cool.

If you want QS, go with the ABC Commissary. It's air-conditioned, which makes it better the outdoor food court set-up they have near the Rockin Rollercoaster.

I was served a slimey turkey sandwich at Backlot Express so I don't recommend it. :crazy2:

We've enjoyed Brown Derby, Mama Melrose and Sci Fi.
We just ate at Brown Derby and Mama Melrose last week and enjoyed both of them. If you like bad Sci Fi movies, Sci Fi is difficult to beat.

LOVE Sci Fi! We also enjoy Backlot express for quick service. 50’ prime time and Hollywood and Vine are a few other ones that we like!

For us SCI-FI for burger and shakes... Other than breakfast with the Disney Junior character is the only choices for my family. If we want something else we will leave the park... use the boat to go over to one of the resorts for QS at the Dolphin we like Picabu's, Beach Club Beaches and Cream or more for dinner Cape May.... We even head into Epcot... we just go through the back gate and either for the Bakery in France or Fish and Chip in England.

50s PTC is our 1st choice, Mama Melrose is our 2nd choice. Sci Fi gets a lot of love but its not my cup o tea.
