Staying @ CSR Jan 23rd-29th. I have 3 breakfast ADR's for 8:00 am for 1900 Park Faire-Cape May Resort & Chef Mickey's. I'm ordering a scooter for mobility. How do I get to these hotels using either a taxi or Disney Bus?

We find that a cab will run you about $20 including tip to get around property. Otherwise, catch the first bus to the nearest park and then transfer to your destination resort. You will need about an hour to do this.

Hi. My recommendation would be to talk to your hotel concierge when you check in. There are taxis that are larger vans that can be called for you. Will you have help breaking down and lifting your scooter, or do you expect to always take a bus, boat, etc. and roll on to transportation?

Disney supposedly provides a character breakfast bus that should be able to take you but I have heard stories that the bus never showed, so working with your concierge should help.

Good luck!

Take the early bus to MK then monorail or boat over to 1900 P/F, same thing to Chef Mickey's but use the sidewalk instead, early bus to DHS, then scoot on over to Cape May, or take the boat if it's running.

I believe there has been one report of an early bus not showing up. I have yet to find that these buses don't show up. They make routine stops at every single resort..same as during regular park hours. I have to wonder what the exact story was for that one person who said that the bus never showed up..and that you have to tell someone at the front desk that you need a bus otherwise they won't go to that resort. That is just so incredibly incorrect.

I wasn't the poster who posted the "one report," but we did have this happen to us at POR. There was even a transportation CM at the bus stop who radioed a number of times to see what the problem was. Eventually, the CM ordered a resort van and transported the lot of us waiting to get to CR for CM early breakfast and that worked fine. Who knows what happened to the MK bus -- but it didn't come after a wait of 55 minutes.

Question, Sandi: Were other buses coming and just the MK one never showed? Because the other person - the one to whom goofy4tink refers (and I agree, it wasn't you :)) - made it sound like NO early buses came to their resort!

I'm just curious, NOT skeptical or trying to start an argument. I believe you!!!!

To my knowledge, the transportation greeters at the resorts don't show up until the regular buses start running. There purpose is to monitor, check on buses, and call for buses in the AM. That would indicate that we're not talking about the character bus in this case. My guess, and it's just a guess, is that the last character bus had come and gone and now the regular buses were about to start which might explain the void. Does that make sense?

There were Epcot busses (like three of them!) and AK. Don't remember DHS.

I think our ressie was for 7:55 and it would not have been on a MK Early Entry Day. We were out at the bus stop by 6:30 with a couple other folks there already. The CM came at about 7:00 and the other folks started in on her right away. We were a little less frantic than they were and tried to help her (the CM) out. So, I guess I'm not sure if that was regular time or what. Stuff happens and life goes on. I was ready to just have a cab take us at 7:30, but they had the resort take us instead.
