Lost was awesome.... but I wouldn't be supprised if it was Michael, Walt's dad, on the freighter.....:rolleyes1
I know others (no pun intended) who feel the same way... I am a Lost newb- this is only my second season... but whomever it is, it must be someone that Locke trusted or he would have never freed Ben...

There were no major upsets on AI. Luke and Danny went home for the boys and Asia'h and Kady for the girls.

That snow is coming up to OH today... we are suppose to get 7-12 in...... so this will be the biggest snow we have gotten this season :crazy2: .....It makes long for Disney!!! Less than 4 weeks!:dance3:

My Bare M should be here today!:cool1:

I thought everyone went home who should have except for Asiah! I think Amanda should have gone home instead of her!

I really wanted Asia'h to stay for a while given all that she has been through ..:sad1: ...

I can't join in the Bare Minerals discussion either! I wear Bobbi Brown and she has all new stuff coming in now too. The weirdest thing is now my daughter comes to the counter with me. We are slowly introducing her to the right colors for her lips, eyes and blush. Very, very light!!

She was constantly putting makeup on and the colors were horrible. You know the kids makeup kits. So, I spoke to a representative at one of the counters and she said 11 is nice time to start. Especially with teaching them to keep there face clean. So she got a nice gentle face wash too!! Its just soooooo weird. Let me also explain my daughter is only 11 but she is 5'4" with beautiful white hair. So her colors really had to be right!

I used do makeup applications for brides and bridal parties years ago. I took a few classes and worked on the weekends. But everything changes so much so quick.

I love Bobbi Brown bronzer!
I'm a sucker when new Trish and MAC colors come out - especially spring and summer!

My DD is 9 so we're not there with the makeup! She likes American Girl lip balm and lotions!:)

Kristin...I tried the Prime Time....I love that stuff. It smells icky though. You just use one small squirt and it is like aloe gel kind of but not sticky at all. It makes your skin feel like SILK. Due to that stuff and I was working on layers...I way overdid it. I looked so fake. I need to find my right colors. I felt orangey. Yuck. I washed my face after spending 45 minutes on it. Maybe with the Prime Time I can do a quickie one coat job.:thumbsup2 I will try again tomorrow.....

Is Michael the Australian guy? He is a cutie. :thumbsup2 Is Asiah the one who's dad died?? I so can't keep track of this years contestants! Only the cute ones.:rotfl:

:goodvibes

Channing- I haven't gotten the Prime Time yet... I was at the Commons this AM to hit the Loft, but didn't walk all the way down to Ulta (too cold!!). Try again tomorrow with a lighter coat... don't worry you'll get it!!

Good morning, all....

Wishes Queen, my older DD is 11, too! Gosh...I am so not ready for her to wear makeup at all:guilty: ....she is only in 6th grade. I was hoping to hold off til like 16 or 17 haha....I don't know....most of the girls around here dress so much like boys with the jeans/sweatshirts or baggy sweats & ponytails so I don't think makeup is a priority with them.;) I am thankful I still have girly girls but I am so not ready for the makeup stuff. DD11 has never shown any interest at all, but my trouble is with DD8.:rotfl: I had to worn her off my new Bare M stuff or I know she'd mess with it in the morning before school.:rotfl2:

Sounds like your DD8 and my DD11 would be great partners!!!

The girls around here are straightening their hair. They want Abercrombie and Hollister clothing etc. My DD11 loved all that stuff but she still loves Limited 2 and American Girl!!! Thank Goodness!!!:goodvibes

Speaking of AI and Lost I tivo them both and run through them without commercials!!!:woohoo:

Asia'h was the only disappointment in my house!!:sad2:

On Lost, Michael was the first person I thought of. Actually, I'll be shocked if its not him!!! So exciting, I love that show, it ends 2010 I think I heard!!!

Asia'h is the one who lost her dad two days before her addition. I can't believe she was able to sing....

It's gonna be Michael. His name is in the credits for the show ... Just waiting for him to appear!!!

Channing, the first few times I was doing Bare M, I felt orangey too. Just experiment and you'll find the right combo. :goodvibes

OK...I know her I remember that audition...it was amazing and heartbreaking. :guilty: She was terrific. She didn't impress me during the Hollywood weeks though.

I didn't even recognize her! I forgot her name but remember that story. So sad....we were so sad for the kid taht lived in his car, too. I heard Ellen took care of him though.:thumbsup2

Funny, I don't watch lost, I was thinking you guys meant Michael Johns from AI.;) Duh. My bad.

Kristin, I feel like I have too much stuff, too... What do you use on a daily basis? Today I used the prime time, mineral veil, well rested - this took me quite a while...I did all around eyes &a few places that needed concealing, base, warmth, blush, sun kissed, eye stuff, mineral veil, then did my mascara & lips....I just felt overwhelmed with products. Is there a short cut? I think I used them in the order I typed out, too....maybe there is a better way....:confused3 What brush do you use for the Well Rested?? I used the concealer brush, but maybe that's too small because it took a lot of time.

WishesQueen, :goodvibes We have Limited Too girls here, too. :) I will be sad when they move on to that Abercrombie and Hollister. :sad2: Girls seem to want to grow up too fast & I want to keep mine young for as long as possible.

Andrea - thanks....I think I overdid it today because I underdid it yesterday. I washed it off but my face still feels silky smooth with the Prime Time still on. That is some nice stuff.

Channing, I would probably nix the warmth and the sun kissed (that is where the orange is coming from). If you feel pale you can mix a little of either above in the lid with your foundation, but I wouldn't use both...I use the concealer brush for the well rested (but I blend it really well)

I am laughing at the A&F discussions, I am a mommy but I still wear A&F :rolleyes1

Yes, the Prime Time is great stuff. I agree.
Channing, are you doing mineral veil before foundation?
With the Prime Time (and since you are in cold weather), you may not need to do the "sandwich" Brooke refers to ...

I just spent $100 at Gymboree on that Tulip line. Got a top, denim skort, leggings, knee socks, reg. socks, swimsuit, dress, spring weight peacoat for Hannah. I was very proud of myself that I spent $100.42, EXACTLY enough to get my $50 in Gymbucks. The woman behind the counter looked at me like "How did you do that?" I want my discount, but I don't want to give them a penny more than a need to for it! :rotfl:

I'm BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

My modem went down and finally the cable guy came out to replace it :yay:

Of course I have about 4000 emails to go through:rolleyes1 but I had to come here first and see my buddies!!!

Chan~ I have your box sitting here waiting to walk itself to the post office :rotfl: Kelly gave me your addy last night Via phone but I had to wait until the cable guy came here before I could leave. Its now 1pm and cold and kind of rainy and icky out.... BAD storms all last night..... so I dont think I am making it to the post office today :rotfl: I will get it out tomorrow or Monday.

I got a better deal on those sketchers than EVEN the 50% off deal :dance3:
They sent me my order TWICE I called them and they only charged me once .... and get this... the guy I talked to said I could ship them back to them but I had to pay for the shipping :rotfl:
I explained to him that they messed up my order and could NOT charge me twice for 2 identical orders but that there was no way I was paying the shipping on 6 pairs of shoes:rotfl: so the guy told me just to keep them :dance3:
I guess I will be set if one of the kids lose 1 shoe

I also got 2 of my custom dresses in today from peanutburys :dance3: :dance3:
They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!!!!!!! I can't wait for Savannah to get home to try them on. I will try and take pics
One is a light pink stripe with a little yellow in the stripe A line dress with buttons on the straps. The monogramming at the top is in Gold and says Birthday Princess ... there is a crown in the center and then her name under... she sent it with a cute matching headband.

The other dress i am sooo in love with. Yes the birthday dress is cute but this dress outshines it :bride: It is a white bib overall type style dress. the top is white and has bold lettering with her name on it. The skirt part is red and white polk a dots.... BIG pok a dots!!! Hard to explain but it is SOOOO cute!!!
I will snap some pics with her in them.

My next door neighbor had her baby yesterday.... 8 weeks early :scared1:
He is doing fine and is just shy of 4lbs ...which I am told is a good size for how premature he is. He is breathing on his own but gets oxygen just so he doesn't have to work so hard. They are going to keep him for a few days just to make sure he puts on some weight and is doing okay. So far he is eating like a football player :cheer2:
The daddy is brothers with my brothers best friend... so that makes us best friends in law? :rotfl: Small town hehe
Anyway... they called me at the hospital to ask me to get their pup out of the house (they had to leave REALLY fast...) and watch him for them while they are in the hospital. OKAY no biggie right? Well pup is a 2 year old GREAT DANE :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: So now I have 4 dogs running wild in my house!!! A lab, a german shepard type mutt (my Katrina puppy who weighs 95 pounds!) my corgi and a huge flipping PUPPY name BO. Its a professional wrestling pay per view kind of thing going on in my house :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: They have to see who can get closer to ME.... and my safety is not their first concern in their quest :rotfl:
Our other neighbor was over here this morning laughing... she said at least I don't have to worry about anyone trying to break in my house :rotfl: :rotfl:

Okay I am going to attempt to catch up on this thread... so if I comment on anything and post.... well i am not too good about keeping quiet even if it is old news :surfweb:

Praline!!!! WELCOME BACK!!!!!! WE MISSED YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is just awesome about the skechers!!! Yep they must have been having some serious issues with their website!!! I wonder how many of these double orders went out! I should have gone back and gone ahead to try and order again!!!! WOuldn't you know it, Jojo lost ONE Birkenstock lavendar Boston clog yesterday! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: So it is possible. YOu have extras now.:rotfl: :rotfl:

THANKS for the Bare M stuff! :goodvibes

Those dresses sound adorable - can't wait to see them.

Talk to ya later!!!!! Glad you're back.:goodvibes

We saw The Other Boleyn Girl last night. BF suffered through it as he wanted to see whatever that basketball spoof movie is. I didn't reallly care for it. I read the book during our last trip to WDW and it was excellent if you like historical fiction. The movie was so so. The charachters were somewhat different than in the book and the storyline was a bit different. I should stop reading books before seeing the movies. I never like the movies as well.

AMY~Oh I wanted to see this but DH won't take me to a chick flick :rotfl:
I read the book too! That stinks that it isn't as good as the book... but the movie rarely is. Are you a big reader? I have a series of books I am reading...though there are only 2 out and she is writing the 3rd. I like historical stuff and she does do historical but these are set in modern time.
the author is Karen Marie Moning. I love her historical stuff but the Darkfever series has be HOOKED. I am such a bookworm :rotfl:

planning on spending the WHOLE trip with us, which is a big NO! as far as I am concerned. Finally, one group is mad because on our wedding website there is a section for attire, and I said "Business casual: no t-shirts, jeans or shorts".
Its impossible to make everyone happy... heck I can't even do that with my family here and I AM IN CHARGE :rotfl: just start crying and be bridezilla... that way nobody shows up and you don't have to listen to them complain on your wedding:bride:

I'm beginning to think you must be part-owner in BM!
Tinkaroo~ You would think I own the company! Seriously I am not affilated with them in anyway except for the fact they take a big hunk of my wallet :rotfl:

I am so mad I am shaking.....I sold a ton of stuff on Ebay last month and there was this one lady that I was super nice to & went way out of my way for....shipped hers Fed Ex (pain in my butt) held stuff back for her, found other items esp for her per her request....ugh
YUCK Channing. I have been selling/buying on ebay since 1998. I had one serious issue with a buyer once OMG she drove me insane!!!! I was selling off my cute maternity/nursing shirts. I had some adorable breastfeeding super secret hide the ..you know what... while nursing. Well her check kept bouncing! After the 3rd time of it bouncing I explained she wasn't getting the shirts:rotfl: she did the same thing to me through ebay!
I sent copies of the bounced check to ebay and she got into trouble and they removed her bad feedback she left me. I relisted the shirts (these shirts were going for 80 a piece and were used.... nice nursing shirts are hard to come by)
anyway... the chick made a new ebay account and won the auction again AACKKK she was dumb enough to send me the same info for shipping and a check from the same account ...like I wouldn't notice hahah...anyway those checks bounced but I had already contacted ebay so she was flagged.
I am not sure how the costomer service at ebay is now but hopefully it will get resolved. usually you dont have to refund something until they send it back. Since 1998 that has been my only issue with ebay. I always check the feedback and have met some great people on there.

Andrea~ you cat in the hat outfit was adorable!!!! I am so not crafty! I always cringe when the kids have to do something crafty at home :rolleyes1

okay... too many smilies so i have to post this catch up post...still catching up though:surfweb:

I am a burnette
Kel~ :rotfl2: Don't take this the wrong way but I so thought you were blonde:rotfl2:
not the dingy blonde but you know how you picture someone 1 way and they are completely different than how you pictured them?

Guess who joined the Bare Minerals dept?? Nordstrom!
I wish we had a Nordstroms here, don't you Andrea?! I would so get into trouble:rotfl:

My father in law who I was VERY close with passed away last Monday!!!
wishesqueen~ I am so sorry to here about your father in law. :goodvibes my heart goes out to you. A death in the family is so hard... it zaps everything out of you. Make sure to take care of yourself physically and emotionally. :grouphug:

I am so surprised to see people still saying the GF isn't family friendly. Little do they know

Savannah was holding out on the Poly until she started thinking how much she liked the GF :rotfl: all 3 of my kids enjoyed themselves there. I think its silly when people say its not for kids:confused3 all the cm's wanted to trade pins with my kids and would address my kids before me. I can't count the times one of them asked my kids how their stay was, what was their fav ride... they treated them like little people~ not kids KWIM?

Funny story about the GF being nice... not sure if I told this story or not but it was hysterical! Savannah is bit of a nose digger <gasp> I know its nasty and she only does it when I am not looking~ kids
Anyway, we were on the second floor coming off of the monorail and I caught her. I knelt down and tried some positive discpline over the situation. I explained to her how nice the lobby was and how pretty it was and how it would not look cute if an angel like her was seen nose diving. Well little miss pert had to say, "But mommy, its okay... this isn't the lobby. The lobby is downstairs and the people on the 2nd floor won't care..." :rotfl:
So the joke for our family the rest of the week (especially with the boys) the lobby is too nice for nose picking but you can dig for gold on the second floor:rotfl:

Boy, once she gets back on, it will be like a dam bursting loose!! Tell her we miss her and can't wait to "hear" from her again!!
Well I hope all my posting hasn't let you down :rotfl:
who knew there was a limit on smilies on here?!?!:rotfl2:
I missed you gals too and am still catching up. I am on page 24 now!

I am feeling cranky because I bet they are GF newbs due to codes.
Hey are there any new codes out? I have been out of the loop! Let me know if any are for June 14-21 so I can apply it to my trip!!!!!!
More money to spend in the German doll shop :rotfl:

Channing~ Did you think of adding Disney dollars or gift cards to their baskets? Since you will be there and kids love having their own money to spend on vacation! Just a thought.

DH so it will be up to HIM to take care of my dog
Take all of your puppy gear to the kennel before you leave! I have done this before. I never let them take their beds but always send nice holey towels that smell like home to have. Take his bones and stuff early. Tell the ladies watching him that DH will be bringing pup ...most of us women TOTALLY get the depending on DH for stuff storyline :rotfl:
A few weeks back I sent my DH to the store for some corn. He comes back with 6 bags of junk and no corn:confused3 I asked him where was the corn?
He replied~ they were all out of corn?:rotfl: :rotfl: how does Winn Dixie sell out of corn?!

I felt so bad for the little guy when DH told me!!
Get used to it mommy! It was most likely a special bonding time for little man and daddy.... daddy needs that time too without mommy hovering. It was MAN time! Sometimes us mommies forget that the little ones need special time with daddy where daddy has to soothe the soul too.

Last night we had a wicked thunderstorm (andrea will tell you... it was nasty with lots of thunder)
Anyway... I am so glad we have a cali king size bed!!!!! I had Ryan (DS10), Savannah all 4 dogs... yes I said 4 dogs as I am baby sitting a dog... and DH in the bed with me last night! I swear the kids were trying to climb back in the womb and the dogs weren't far behind :rotfl:

DS13 (Donovan) woke up from the storm. I asked him if he wanted to climb in the bed with us and he looked at me like I was nuts!!!! He said he would brave the storm in his own bed :lmao:

OK.... posting this one dang old smilie limit!

hi ladies just popping to say hi. we are getting SNOW later! yes in central Mississippi, SNOW! I am so excited!
