I got an email from Peggy and she is gone until Saturday but hopefully she can think of something for you! She seems super nice!

Well that explains why she hasn't emailed me back
she usually replies in a matter of minutes.

She is super sweet and went out of her way for me... i like her.

Don't you guys think there must be SOMEBODY there to replace L while she's on vacation?? I mean, the cake orders aren't going to stop just because L is out of the picture for a while..... If it were me, I'd rather talk to a know-nothing substitute than L.....I'd call tomorrow! Maybe I will haha!! I wasn't going to order anything because of the hassles, but if she's gone......hmmm....

Gotta show this to the hubby tonight. I had to go to the doctor because I had gained 5 pounds and was waking up at night sweating to death. The doctor took some labs and through the "M" word at me. Are you kidding me?? I am only 35. This stuff is for the birds. I just ordered some supplements to help with my symptoms. DH does not care what it is but I think he is tired of me being so crabby. Mandy - I am so messed up re the Pandora and Chamilia....OK, I am looking at my bracelet now...I do own Chamilia, but the PANDORA Murano charms are larger...all along I thought the Chamilia's were larger...and then now I am messed up with who makes the Disney charms, haha....they don't say on them and if they do, I cannot read them...either way they fit on my Chamilia bracelet...they sell them around WDW, too. I have seen them there at diff places that sell fine jewelry. I bought a charm in DL, too.

I hope you get one for Mothers Day. I love mine!

She says:

The Kona Island Cafe Coffee Bar at the Polynesian. The coffee is excellent, but be aware that it is open limited hours, and sometimes is only open in the morning.

Picabu at the Dolphin serves Starbucks, but only the plain stuff -- nothing fancy. I think most, if not all of the Swan and Dolphin's restaurants serve Starbucks, by the way.

There are stand-alone coffee kiosks in the parks that are not run by Disney, and they don't use Nescafe. The coffee is not the best I've ever had, but it beats the alternative.

Boma, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge serves a Kenyan coffee in a French press pot that you could stand a spoon upright in. After I have a couple of cups, I begin talking so fast and high, only the animals on the savanna can hear me.

I'm happy that the coffee kiosks are not run by Disney and NOT Nescafe! No wonder you found good iced coffees!

ohhhh I met with the owner of these kiosk while I was there. They are trying to work with Disney to set up more of them.... It was like a MECCA for me as Disney coffee STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a photo of the cake I got at the beginning of the month. Not exactly what I ordered but at least it was close. It was suppose to have a castle on top instead of the 3 layer.

The cake with all of the delivery charges, tax, and tip was about $90. I went throught Linda.

It looks like the service is touch and go..... depends if you get Linda on a good day or not

Well birthday cake in general is not very good

I would have been thrilled with anything besides flowers for my DH!!!! Did it break my entire trip? no Did I whine and cry the entire time over the cake? no
It was one of the VERY few things that went wrong with our trip.... we had a fantastic time and had many magical things happen. We loved the GF.... so my post about the cakes does NOT reflect my feelings toward the resort itself.

I think one small department at the grand needs a major overhaul and I can think of WHERE they can start the hauling

I can understand if they want to go more bulk type cakes ...generic flower cakes such as I got BUT don't charge me the cost of a custom made design and send me a generic walmart cake

With all the endorsing I did for Peggy... understand I have never actually used her before. I could get to my room in June and it could be a total disaster

I do know she came highly recommended by a few Diss'ers and from what I have seen so far, she has been top knotch.

Good Morning GF Gals!!!

I am going to cut to the chase and tell you I got the Cabana!!!!

Only 7 more days to go!!!

So, this is the story I start dialing at 6:57, I get the message call back during normal hours. I hit redial twice and get through, the guy quickly told me I had the wrong number for Cabanas !! Freaking out, trying not to kick his @ss over the phone, I tell me LOOK, LOOK, I know this the number. Well,..... he said I'll be...... they snuck that in!!! SNUCK!!! I am calling for a couple of years now what does he mean SNUCK!!!

Anyway, he informs me OOOHHH!!! Theres only one left!! How can that be, how could there only be one left at approximately 6:59????? Anway, I got it and I have to set my alarm for the weekend and pray!!! When is this guy leaving and who does he know? I wonder if he's RPC and Concierge is doing it before 7 a.m. Is that a service they would offer?

Mom is looking better today!! Not Great!!! Just Better!!!

I am not sure about conceirge booking them but I am thinking you might be right....

They do make all of your ressies for you so it would only make sense that they put them in the system and the second the ADR becomes available BANG it goes through the computer... just a guess but it would make sense.

NOW while you are there MAKE sure to check out the guy who has been renting the cabana up

You are thinking exactly what I was thinking. Now, I am dying to see who this guy is. Last year there was a famous British singer there with her children, which by the way, she and her husband didn't look twice at. Krause the man who works at the little shop by the pool gives me all the dirt on the guests!!

Honestly, my DH wanted to upgrade to RPC this year and it was kind of my fault for stopping him. At the time, we weren't sure about is job, there have been so many layoffs and stuff, I was just glad he was working and we were still going. My trip has been paid off for months, just incase something happened we knew we took care of it already. Anyway, things look alittle better so hopefully next year I'll do RPC, if they offer that service because then it would worth to me. Then you girls can teach me all the ins and outs of RPC.

ahhh if you want a private album you can't use the DIS... at least I dont think so... all of the photos are public.
