Cute idea Praline!!

My dds would want to be something cutesy like Sally from Cat in the Hat or Cindyloo Who....maybe a Sneech...aren't they the yellow guys with the big star on their stomachs?? Or a fox in sox. Something either really cute or really dorky.

Hey, if you guys watch WIFE SWAP...I didn't watch yet, but saw that there is a freaky family from Huntley IL (about 1/2 hr from me and Kristen) and these people are ....ghostbusters or something...they thing they all have paranormal abilities. OMG...how embarrassing...I just thought it was a stitch so I'd mention it here. Shh...it's our little secret. Don't want to spread it around that we have wacked out "neighbors". I hope they didn't embarrass themselves too badly tonight. I would NEVER want to do that show. But then again my family is not weird enough.

They had a lady from Ponchatoula, LA (outside Baton Rouge, LA which is an hour from New Orleans) that was a nutso and they advertised her over and over on the Wife Swap rip-off show that came on Fox, so I can relate to the embarassment by the "neighbors" issue.

I wish I had more time to make her a Sally dress or a CindyLou one. I am going to do either Sam I Am or the Sneech with the star. I think that may be cute. I am trying to think of what I can reuse from the Disney trip, turtlenecks, tees, leggings we used under the Disney costumes.

They had a lady from Ponchatoula, LA (outside Baton Rouge, LA which is an hour from New Orleans) that was a nutso and they advertised her over and over on the Wife Swap rip-off show that came on Fox, so I can relate to the embarassment by the "neighbors" issue.

OH! I think I saw that one!! Was she the large strict religious lady? Wow...she was nice & kind of helpful to the other family if I am remembering it right....but then her own family kind of rebelled??.....boy that's been a while. I liked that show, too - Trading Spouses - and they got the prizes where the moms could say how to spend their $50,000! I am bad. I am addicted to trashy tv. That's all I watch anymore - when I do get to watch tv. My ALL TIME favorite was that reality show with the ugly guys and that beauty queen....she thought she was on a fabulous dating show but then met all the "Average Joes", but they were worse then average. I just remember laughing my butt off watching that show. THat was some good tv.

My parents' ranch is right near Ponchatoula

I would be scared is I saw my mom on a wife swap show ...very scared

That's okay Channing Andrea and I live near one of the most haunted houses in America... yup. Not sure if I believe in ghost or not but DH and DS10 have been begging me to spend the night there (its a B&B) and I refuse too I have never seen a ghost and I really dont want to go searching for one either!!!!!!


Of course we also have the distinct pride in the fact that the movie The Dukes of Hazzards was filmed right here in my home town
Most of the filming was done in Bayou Gauche
I am soooo proud

I had a tootchache yesterday that turned into a bump under my gun line
I called the dentist as it really hurt they cant see me for like 2 weeks
I think antibiotics I woke this a.m. and the bump i still there but its doesnt hurt but my cheek is swollen

Is it in the back or front? Do you still have your wisdom teeth?

I know when my wisdom teeth got infected it made a bump and they had to yank those bad boys out.... I am hoping thats not what it is for you

So I have tummy issues and I am also top heavy (36DD). There is also a website called biggerbras.com you may want to look at. They have a ton of "bra size" swimsuits. I have not ordered from them before, but I was browsing their site the other day. I am looking for a new suit as well. Miraclesuit is supposed to be a good brand, but I have not tried that one. Maybe you could take a trip to Baton Rouge and check Macy's. I bet they have a good selection.

Ooo, I like that VS one. I have a small lower body, so that may work for me. I am going to go to Macy's next week because I need to find one soon so I can bring it to San Antonio next month. I will let you know that they have.

Thanks for the info on the biggerbras.com. I'm also a 36DD and usually an 8 pant, but have to wear a 10 or 12 in swimsuits so my girls aren't hanging out there. I want them covered! Miraclesuits have worked well for me, but swimsuit shopping is so depressing! I found a suit I loved, then couldn't find the matching swimsuit in my size, so I bought the bigger one and took it to my alterations place to have it slimmed down. I think it cost me as much to alter it as I paid for it, but at that point, I just didn't care. It was one I actually liked.

Are you doing spring break in San Antonio? We love SA! We go down and spend Labor Day weekend at the Hyatt Hill Country -- that place is fabulous! Have fun!

Kelly -- I'm sorry you are having problems. I had a bad experience when I was young and really hate to go to the dentist now, even though the dentist I have now is terrific. I hope you get some relief ASAP.

Okay ladies -- you have me interested in Bare Minerals. We have a store in my favorite mall. I'm also fair, have very sensitive skin, but I'm very oily. Does BM have a good line for oily skin?

And Channing -- any "Freddies" for Joe's basket?

KELLY! I think you need to call another dentist asap. I can't believe they are making you wait 2 weeks. That is unreal. If we have any issues at all like pain they get us in that day. Is it an abcess?? Is it white - do you see puss? (gross, but if so that is BAD and you need to get in ASAP)

OK, I watched the Wife Swap.....I am SHOCKED at how RUDE all the kids (teens) in both families are. That is just awful and pretty disturbing that they feel comfortable being so disrespectful to adults they are supposed to welcome into their homes. Unreal. The kid from Huntley IL told the Kentucky mom he did't thing she was as intelligent as he and his family. WTH? What a creep. Then the lazy Kentucky teens were obnoxious. It was pretty sad to see. Makes my son look like a prince.

OK....Marci, am I missing something??!? Better fill me in on the Freddies!

I don't remember why it came up, but on one of my RPC trips last year, Joe showed me Freddie -- it's the plastic pig he used to keep/may still keep in his drawer. A guest may have given it to him -- I can't remember the background story on it. I was in a toy store one day and saw a kids jacks game with Pigs instead of jacks... I had to buy it and send it to him -- too funny!

Dr Seuss- I vote for the Sneeches costume!! (A long yellow T shirt kind of shredded on the bottom with a green star)

Marci- Bare Minerals used to sell oil absorbant pads but I am not sure if they still do On the DVD Leslie (the CEO) recommends those with oily skin put the mineral veil on first then the makeup and mineral veil at the end. I am not as oily as I once was and I wonder if that is the makeup....
Anyway is the store near you a Bare Escentuals?? The people at those are AMAZING and would be able to tell you the exact way to combat that

Anyone have anymore luck getting the Sketchers orders to go through?? That is so strange that didn't work- maybe system overload from so many orders??

Well.....he will prbably like the gross & silly stuff Jojo and Lu picked out then. They got the same for him and Vonnie in different colors.....the favorite so far is a wind up bunny that "poops" jellybeans as he walks. They liked this so much I had to get Jojo one, too. It is so dumb. We have a bunny so we know - that's what they do....walk hop and poop.

We got them so yummy German chocolates and other goodies and some stupid stuff, too.

Skechers sent me an email this morning saying they know I was there and tried to place an order and kind of blamed my CC for it not going thru.....WRONG. They gave a phone number for support. In the mean time I bought Jojo some Keens at Sierra trading post instead.

I am going to see my regular doctor tomorrow
she will hopefully give me something and then I have an appointment the on the 14th to have the tooth pulled

THAT Is good you have a Dr. appointment tomorrow....Lucy had a baby tooth pulled and she was in sorta pain for a month after but never really said anything because she didn't realize it shouldn't hurt at all.....when she finally said something it turned out to be an abcess...it was just a bump on her gum, white, and the thing went bad really really quick. We went to her pediatrician that day after we called our dentist (he is an hour away) and she said it was abcessed and lucy was in sooo much pain in her whole body she had the tylenol w/codeine and mega antibiotics becasue that gunk can spread thru the bloodstream. Your Dr. will know what to do and if it's really bad maybe can get you into the dentist sooner. I am glad you're seeing somebody and not waiting.

Its weird I am not pain right now but I need the meds before I can get the tooth pulled so. I am glad I am going tomorrow to I dont want to want longer than that.
