Ok I need to know if anyone has had any experience with Ikea. Our rocker recliner has finally bit the dust. Last night it would not rock and I thought ma bey there was a toy under it but nope. So I just rocked back hard and it made a loud pop but was fine. This morning I sat down to read to dd and the back sent me straight back. I called my FIL who works as a furniture repair guy and he said no hope just get a new one. It is a ugly mauve thing my husband bought before we met that I despise.

We are gonna get two leather chairs next year, just gotta wait for the right time and money! LOL WE have a nice large couch but i was thinking of getting one of these until next year.

It is only $350 and I figured I could move it to my bedroom once we got the good furniture we want. So is IKEA good, bad? Anyone know?

Mandy recently got DS some IKEA furniture for college dorm, it seems very well made and sturdy (and reasonable)
got a dresser, desk and chair so far so good....and teenagers are not particularly gentle on furniture!!!

So the Star Wars movie wasn't bad. I was worried that DS wouldn't have any clue what was going on, but he followed it well.

Also, they did a great job matching up the voices with the original actors. The only original voices were Samuel Jackson (who's character's name I can't remember for the life of me!), Anthony Daniels (C-3P0) and the gentleman who did Count Duku (spelling?). But I really thought that Hayden Christiansen and Ewen MacGregor were both Anakin and Obi Wan, repsectively.

It was mostly children at our showing (aged 4 and up). Nothing overly scary- just like a big video game with a lot of battle scenes (yet wih droids, so no blood). It was clever. Thumbs up!

Hello! Hope everyone is having a good day!

Welcome Traci! I am very new to the boards and only an ocassional poster, but enjoy them none-the-less!

To all upcoming WDW travelers - have a WONDERFUL trip! Is it just me, or did everyone's trip quickly sneek up you? It seemed when my trip was booked it would take forever to come, but then all of a sudden - poof - it's here! As much as I want it to be here, I have had almost as much fun planning it all! Oh well, I guess the only solution will be to start planning the next trip as soon as we get back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristin - DH is a MEGA Star Wars fan too!

Supposed to leave in 4 days and I have been keeping an eye on the airline website for arrival and departures. The past 3 days my departing flight has been cancelled. (Due to "weather" or air traffic congestion.)

I am freaking out! Plans were made months ago, I managed to get us all seats together (4 kids!!!) and The car service expects us at specific times. I am so worried that they are going to cancel my flight 17 hrs before departure and I will not be able to re-book for days... (other people are reporting at 2-3 day rebooking delay. )

I can't leave early because DS is still in New Mexico with scouts until 28 hrs before the flight, and I can't extend the trip because I have to report for work about 28 hrs after we return. This trip was squeezed in on a tight schedule. ARRRGHH!!!!

I know there is nothing I can do right now, except worry about it...that just makes it worse though!!!

Tinker*Shell*Bell I just spoke to a friend who is at WDW right now...she said storms are supposed to pass by tomorrow (she is supposed to fly tomorrow evening)....Hope that means they are going out to sea Hope the storms pass so that all of us upcoming travelers are not impacted.....We too have been planning for so long....I cant even check the airlines it will make me too Hope you get out on time.....

i think i gave the wrong idea lol not leaving until after the weekend but I had to pay all my bills today by 3pm. After 3pm some banks consider it paid on monday.

I am freaking out!

That is awesome Lesley!!!!!!! We have always had great luck getting ressies there last minute (especially the early times) I think a lot of people re-think those earlier ADR's when they start to put their park plans together and realize they rather stay out late!!

Another great time to get them is 10:30 ( a lot people think that is too late for breakfast... we just think of it as brunch!)
