Hey- we sugar dimples want to know what happened with your other laptop? Did it break down or something? Not good! Our is starting to act up and we DO NOT need to spend $$ on a new one right now!

Did i metnione I hate best buy....so i decdie i want the cute red gateway...and they check stock and they have one...

so i am deciding betwnee a few and know i want the red one...well they have noen...big issues...i want to leave it gets ugly i am here waiting for htem to clean

I agree with Kelly don't get Vista.
I got a new laptop last year when we moved house and I have all sorts of issues with it. The worst being it only connects in some parts of the house the tech guys blame the extra thick stone walls and metal work but the kids and DH's laptops with Windows work fine

Just back from seeing Mamma Mia tonight. Not quite sure about it, funny (not sure if its supposed to be) and a bit cheesey. Anyone else seen it yet?

Chan, I have a Ferrari Red Gateway laptop (the one I got for Mother's Day) and I love it!!

Vista.....well getting used to it.

The only problem I've had with Vista (and im not sure if its vista specifically) is that everytime it updates i cannot connect to the internet and have to use system restore to reverse the updates and then i can connect...until the next time the computer updates itself

LOL Mare I was thinking about you! I wondered if this was "Ferrari REd" ! OK..so I bet it is. I love the color. THey were trying to pawn a blue one off on me but I stuck with RED....I LOVE RED>


OMG..yes Vista sucks. YOu ahve to have a lot of memory for it to run well. I got a lot of memory. DH does not like VIsta at all and he might put it back to the other Windows XP? anyway we shall see how the Vista runs on this one. It seems all the newer computers are coming with Vista vs XP.

Best BUy is crappy. I HATE that store. I wanted to avoid them at all costs but we happened to go in and you know how that goes. Well....I was deciding betwn a few diff makes and then Col said to them maybe they should check their inventory. THey said they had them al....so wouldn't ya know it the one that I DECIDE I WANT - they didn't have!!!!!

They wouldn't sell me the demo (although after much arm twisting and temper tantruming they did) and they wanted me to take a blue one...NO...And then they wanted me to wait a week for my red one...NO....and then after my husband embarrassed the **** out of me, they sold us the demo for $50 off.

OK..I am happy. It took some mega humiliation but I guess it might be worth it.

He is working on it now.

PS>>>! Princesses there was a cute pale pink Sony there. I liked the outside color pink but not the inner one. The inner was almost flesh pink..the outside was powder pink.

THAT sounds scary!!!! I don'r know how I am gonna sleep tonight thinking of a batrag on my tail!!!

THis is my first post on my NEW laptop!! LOL....I just hope Costco will take the other one back. I think they will...they take anything back & we have the receipt. This one is much faster and hey...it's red.

Channing - the laptop sounds awesome, Robert has a beautiful Dell and now Natalie wants one, I told her it would make an excellent Christmas present. Mostly because I NEVER know what to get her, she has everything!!

Annette, have fun last minute shopping at CVS! I know that trip all too well! If I'm not on again before you leave, have a wonderful time!!

We're off to the mall today. I'm taking the boys to the mega big Palisades Center Mall in Nyack, NY - it has a ferris wheel, merry go round, etc... 5 floors each several miles long! They love to people watch in that mall, so much going on around you. That will keep them occupied while Mama buys a new pair of shoes!

Those Aerosole sandals are in the trash. I really did love them, but you get what you pay for. For $40 they lasted about 2 months! I really wore them out. I walked miles daily around the city and wore them non-stop for 10 days in WDW. Off to check out the cute Ugg Matala sandals, they look cute, comfy and durable!

Oh, I did pick up a pair of Reef Krystal flips at Macys this weekend. All their flips are on sale for either $9.99 or $13.99. They are so comfortable! Much more comfortable than the Haviannas, I wear those only for the pool or beach now.

Chan: I love the red color too! I hope this laptop works out for you. Costco should accept the old one back, my SIL has returned a computer from them before.

Okay, off to call and get some better times for a few of my ADRs (I've been calling THREE times a day!!) then to the mall.

I worked all weekend, along with laundry . We leave Thursday, Yea!!! My piles for packing keep getting larger, I have to find a way to make it all fit, but how???

I just booked my ADR's for Jan this morning, since we have a group of 7. It is ridiculous how hard it is already to get ressies 180 days out. They had to split our group at Mama Melroses and Sci Fi.
I booked my son's B-day at Coral Reef, has anyone ever requested the Diver to show a B-day sign? I have never been before.

Dawn, Kristen, Channing, (Vanessa)-It was great again meeting you all last week. I am curious, what did your families say to you after our meet??
My DH thinks I am spending too much time on DIS. How could that be??
