I know the feeling. My DH did the same last week to me when he said what rate do you think you could get for this weekend? That was on a Thursday. He wanted to see Sig Hansen!

The OMG syndrome is so scary, but oh so much fun! Have fun planning.

OMG OMG OMG! This is crazy! how many nights should I book? Where should we stay? OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!

Kelly: Your boys are so cute! I forgot that your eldest is the same age as our boys. We were offered tickets for WAlking with Dinosaurs by the wish granting organization that is granting Mark's wish, but I tunred them down as Mark still has quite a startle reflex with loud noises and I thought it might be too overwhelming. Then last week I took him to a taping of "Canadian Idol" and he didn't flinch at all!

Kelly, the dinosaur thing looks cool! I think my BF would like it, LOL

I turned in my very last assignment last night, so I am officially all finished with my BA! The last day of classes is the 26rh, but I was a good girl and got done early!

Now I just have to wait for my grades. As long as I get a 50% or better on my final paper, I will be Summa Cum Laude too! (Sorry, had to brag for a moment!)

Now on to my doctorates...yuck!

Its a quiet day around here today...good! I'll be watching my new fav show Weeds! Im already 1/2 way through the second season! OMG OMG OMG its sooo good!

AMy!! WOW!! congrats!! you are not BRAGGING AT ALL!!!!!! You worked hard for that - WAY TO GO!!! OK...maybe I missed something, but what are you studying?? And you are going on to get your doctorate?!?!?! Right away??? I think you deserve a WDW trip.

Dawn....I was disappointed there were not big squishy hugs for us snugglepies. OMG..that one made me LITERALLY spit out my lemonade. My family thought I was having a seizure.

Lesley - that is awesome!! I love the sponatneous trips! WE don't do them much at all anymore now that Disney has been sooo busy and hard to book adn the kids are too old to just snag out of state for a few days w/no notice. Let us know whre you end up staying!

WEll....I DID IT. I bought MIL a ticket to come here in August. It's only a week. I WAS NOT caving on that. No 3 wks....no 10 days....a week tops. DH has yet to even tell her. I am kinda hoping the dates don't work for her.

We are debating replacing our family room carpet with new carpet or hard wood.....it's been an ongoing decision. It is TIME, but I am so wishy washy. We have carpet, wood and stone floors already in the house so if we do carpet, other areas will also have to be done so it flows. If we do wood, I want my stairs and the overlooking balcony hallway done in wood, too. ugh...Jojo cried when I said I would like wood!! SHe dosn't want to sit on wood to play and watch TV. Those are her priorities. I love colorful rugs so there would be a rug! But it's not the same as sitting on an offwhite rug so she can see all her Poly or Bratz clothes. OMG...decisions decisions.

Another thing about getting carpet or wood is that room is the one taht leads to the deck and then the pool area. It gets a lot of either dirty traffic from Tatum or wet traffic from kids running into pee. Not sure how I am going to like either a new carpet or wood getting that lovely treatment.

If we do wood, we'd do it ourselves - NOT the stairs though. That is meticulous and we know we need a pro for stairs. DH can do anything but even he said he wouldn't do the stairs. If we do carpet...I have heard horror stories about installations gone wrong.

WEll...anyway...it's a quiet SUnday here. Too much time to think and worry.

I love our wood floors, so I would do wood with prettyr rugs (we can't have those because of our hairy dog)

My BA is in psychology. I can't decided if I want to work for a company or do therapy when I grow up (haha), so I am actually getting two Doctorates concurrently (it only takes 18 additional hours + a 2nd dissertation) One in general psychology (then with an internship I can do therepy type stuff), and one in industrial psychology

Good Afternoon Everyone!!

Well, I am almost done packing!! The kids are in the pool (in their less then favorite bathing suits...too bad!!). Its hot here!!

My Nephew will be here tonight, he's so excited!!

I think all I have to do it run into CVS and shop for things I probably don't need, but thats the tradition!!!

Channing - The only suggestion I have is to carpet one more time while Jojo is still playing on the floor. Don't put anything too expensive, use a carpet company that someone recommends. Then in a couple of years when the kids aren't running in from the pool as often and Jojo has packed away her toys you can do hardwood.

I have hardwood and I LOVE it. Its everywhere but on my steps, I was worried about Natalie not seeing well and slipping. OOps wait I have carpet in my basement, thats a walk out to my pool. That is actually the only place anyone is allowed to enter to use the bathroom (I have one down there too) so they don't slip and fall. I'd rather them walk on carpet wet, its a commercial carpet that has a lot of dark colors.

Besides water leaves a mess on hardwood, similar to footprints but worst!! Water could also damage hardwood too. Snow is the worst!!!!!!

off to Home Depot to buy paint for the school lounge....its going to be a cafe mocha color...Why am i the fashionista of the school??? Because Da** It im good at it (Stuart Smalley once again)

Also back to Blockbuster for another dvd of Weeds Its soo good...
then on the "mothership" for a return of some shoes and to scope it out

Chan...when we were deciding on wood, carpet, stone or pergo we decided no pergo in the kitchen since we were not getting a pool, no more wood floors cause our dog has completely RUINED our foyer, so we did carpet in the fam room and living dining area, and DH put 16x16 stone tiles in the kitchen and we laid it out so it looks like cobblestone (does that make sense) offcentered everyother row....We will have to do something with the hardwood foyer eventually cause it looks like crap from the dog.....

I have oak in my kitchen, stone in my dining room, hallway and entry way and the rest is carpet (excpet the bathrooms - one stone the others tile)....but I just cannot see putting carpet in I just don't know!!! ...I have a big hairy black dog with mega paws and I know I would blow a gasket if she got mud on the new carpet because I want some type of carved something...I saw it before and it would be in a light color if I went that route. I hear ya Princesses. ...the wood would have to kind of match the other trims and the wood in the kitchen - however the kitchen is not near where the new wood would be AND i want wide plank wood (not what we have in the kitchen) but I am afraid to commit. I also have a high cedar wood ceiling....so not sure if that would be too woody. ugh. I hate decisions. I have some ideas but it's the looking and committing that I am not good at. The slate is the best thing we've done. It is maintenance free and looks cool. That was an easy choice.

Thats great!! Get a pretty color and make sure you dont get VISTA. Actaully i am sure Colin will make sure of that.
