Mike --thank you for the heads up on TGM posting new hours yesterday. That was exactly what I was waiting for. I've followed his guidelines for years and pretty much know what to do, but with so many parks having EMH hours early AND late, it was driving me crazy. I did get my first draft of planning done and off to Calvin. He has already answered back.

What are your dates? I got my updated list from Calvin and I've never had a 4 page itinerary before. Looking at it I can't imagine eating at that many places.

I've decided to go to the MK on Christmas morning for 3-4 hours.
Even though it opens at 7am it will be easy to get to from the GF and then we have a early lunch at Cinderellla's and then back to the room for presents.

For those going in December, we're doing both a Wishes cruise and an Illuminations (but hopefully on the breathless). I'm willing to share if anyone is interested.

I know Vanessa and Mike will both be there during Christmas/New Years, but my memory is really bad -- who else will be there during that time? Anyone want to do a small dessert party/fireworks viewing at the Grand or maybe just meet for sodas/drinks?

We'd love to meet for a drinks or fireworks or dessert or all 3!
If no one takes you up on your cruise offer we'll share. I'll give others the first chance as we'll have done a few this year.

What a difference a week makes here in Chicago!!!!!!!!!! (I mean SWEEP Home Chicago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I bet there are A LOT of Cub fans that called in sick to work today!! (Especially those who were SO NASTY last weekend to us). WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dawn- how is it it your house??

It doesn't have to be anything fancy -- maybe if the weather is nice we can let the kids swim and have cocktails.

MK Christmas morning sounds perfect! I'm so jealous.

Chan -- that's so cool about the laptop. I know I said this yesterday in case I wasn't back on, but sending lots of PD that you have a very magical trip!

Kristin -- congrats on the sweep. I saw lots of cubbie fans walking around town when I was leaving for the airport last week. I couldn't remember if you were a Cubs fan or Sox.

I know how crazy the MK will get and it will probably close but I hear those first few hours can be pretty nice and knowing home is right across the water will make any crowds easier to take.

I am planning on booking the girls on the Pirate Cruise and the Wonderland Tea Party but this is about it. We plan to do the VIP guide on 12/27 at MK!

Mike- MK on Xmas morning sounds a lot of fun! I am going to just wing it and see what happens. I thought about booking BBB for them but I know Channing and Brooke did not have such great experiences. I keep thinking the girls would really enjoy this Xmas morning but then I am still not sure if I want to run off to the parks. So confusing!

DD has done BBB 3 times and loves it. When she did it last week, she did the Crown package- hair, makeup, nails. She had 2 Fairy-Godmothers-in -training working on her so it went much more smoothly and was faster! Every girl had 2 FGiT so I guess Disney finally figured out that 2 is more efficient!
