Kelly, that is amazing. Good thing nobody was in your front yard! I can't even imagine what it sounded like outside your house when the car was crashing and rolling!

it was loud I cant even believe it
i had run inside and the kids were out back with the neighbors parents.

My DH was on the phone and was screaming Kelly where are the kids. I quicly got all the kids inside while he called 911. I will never forget that noise.

Holy cow Kelly, thank GOD your kids were in the back and not the front! Was the driver okay? That is so scary!

OK ladies, this is no joke anymore. I must commence the packing process! I MUST do it tomorrow! Monday is Aidan's pre-school graduation and Tuesday is super packed for us so I will have no time. and we leave Wednesday morning! AHHHHH!!!!!! I need to pack tomorrow!

the driver must have had his seatblet on . He jumped right out and was freaking out saying he need to call his mom he was very young. I would be surprised if he was even 18. They took him the hospital to make sure he was okay.

last night a car blew the stop sign in front pf my house hit the fire hydrant and flipped over at least 3 times across my lawn and landed inches from my front porch.

I feel truly blessed that no one was hurt as both of my sons and the neighbors kids were all playing in my back yard.

That is terrifying! God was watching over everyone, and I am so glad no one was hurt. I am also glad that the car did not hit your house! OMG!

Hannah has her dance rehearsal today. No costumes, but on stage ... I can't wait 'til it's over and we head to AL to go to the beach!!!

Have a great Saturday, everyoen!

Kelly: Thank God no one was hurt! I can't believe how far he travelled after hitting the fire hydrant! (but BTW, your house looks lovely...what a wonderful setting for the kids) I'm sure that young man is going to be shaken up for some time. You guys are probably still hearing the noise in your heads too.

We're waiting to hear back if the November dates are going to work for our son's Wish trip - depends on availability of Give Kids the World.

Hope you all have a nice calm day, and hoping that you have someone coming soon to clean up the mess so you don't have that reminder...

Morning gals!

Dawn and Marci~ Well we enter the softball world this morning at 9:30 a.m. My husband I are coaching. He knows what he is doing...but I have NO clue so it should be interesting! This is only a four week summer program so it will not be that bad. Dh is determined Lexi is going to be a softball player (especially since she is a lefty!):thumbsup2
Marci and Mike~ I hope your dates open up. I am on the fence for the CP on the 24th. I am going to make dh think about it tonight. I do not want to miss the GF that night but I also do not want to miss the religious aspect of CP. Maybe we will do CP Christmas night:confused3 I have heard several people say the earlier show in the day hours is not as moving as the show in the dark..I HAVE NO CLUE...just what I read.:santa:

Channing~ I hope Lucy is feeling better and Jo has a great recital. :grouphug: Here's a little support to help you make it through the weekend. The recitals are brutal! (but a lot of fun!!!)

When the heck should I be sending my ADR stuff to the IPO??:confused3

V~have a good time with softball....Lexi you lefty~you go girl!!!!!

OMG Kelly, that is horrible!!1:scared1: Thank the Lord your boys were not out front....he was definately looking out for you! Was the boy drinking?? or just going at a high speed?
Now I want to know is who is going to fix and clean up your lawn??? Thats not fair to leave you with the mess!

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Mike I am thinking of you, because it already super hot!!!! Drink alot of fluids!!!

My DS-Robert had his prom last night. My kids go to catholic school and its a small school so they do things alittle different. The prom is in the gym and beforehand they have a Presentation. I didn't have any idea what this was because Robert is my oldest, friends and I made plans to have my babysitter watch the girls (no sibling allowed) and we were going out to dinner afterward.

Well, first the present each parent with flowers and thank you note that wrote in school for you!! Need I tell you how hysterical I was, I was in a puddle. My son was please Mom, don't cry!!!! Then they do this really cute skit on were they invision themselves in 10 years!!! Very Funny!!! To put the cherry on the cake they all get on stage and sing one of my favorite songs My Wish by Rascal Flatts! I lost it!! On our way out, each child found their parents and brought us to a photo station and we had family photos taken (imagine after all that crying taking a photo), when we pick them up they presented us with these beautiful frames and believe it or the photo was great!!!

We went to dinner and I am not as good as most of you girls, I like my drink!!! Several Grey Goose and Tonics later I was feeling better!!! What a nice night!!! I never excepted such a beautiful presentation or that it was for the parents and thats what it was for the Parents totally!!

I heard the Graduation is awesome and thats next Friday!!! I can't imagine!!!

Annette, what a great thing your son and school does before Prom. What a great memory to have :lovestruc You go girlfriend with a couple of cocktails!:drinking1

Morning Gals....it another stormy, hot and humid day here in Chicago. Vanessa I hope you are not getting too much rain!:umbrella:

My son (14) is on a Spongebob kick right now...so we are watching and laughing together. Maybe I will see Mr. Crabbs;)

Yesterday I bought these killer shoes from Steve Madden
http://www.dillards.com/webapp/wcs/...ervlet?view=20&No=140&N=1000425+41&R=02707254
My daughter was laughing at me saying you wont wear them, and I said I would too at work...then some ladies (my age) saw me wearing them and said "wow those are fabulous" So I bought them...cant wait to wear them!

Have a grand day
Dawn:flower:

I sounds like I have a drinking partner!!! I am no lush, but weekends and vacations call for great drinks!!! EPCOT has some of the best!!

Dawn - really cute shoes, I don't know if I could walk around them, but I would give it a try too!!

Kelly - I still can't believe it, the pictures are shocking and all I could think about is imagine if that was my son. I am sure you looked after him!!

On a lighter note - I have to confess, that after the the initial shock of the photos and after seeing the am photos, I was thinking what a beautiful place to live!! Your house and property is so pretty!!!

It was warm last year and the kids swam every afternoon.

Wow I hope it is warm enough to swim this Dec. With plans to spend a lot of time at the resort that would be nice. I really have no clue about Florida in December. What is the warmest it will likely get?

Other than an hour wait, even with an ADR, we didn't have problems with sticky/dirty. We love 1900 as well, and each time, even with ADRs, we've waited more than 45 minutes,
Wow I've never experienced waits like that. Hopefully i can plan some dinners or lunches around the restaurant opening times.

well thank you
We live very close the beach and I love it.

Mike - We did the first CP showing at 5pm Don't know if it matters to you but for the first CP showing, it is not dark out. This didn't bother us but I remember some people posting that they felt like it took away from the experience since it was still daylight out! Just a thought!

I don't think that will bother me at all but since the sun sets in ny before 5pm l'd have assumed it would be dark. I forget Florida isn't 'straight down' the map.

Now that park hours have been released I'm thinking of arriving a day earlier and doing the CP on monday the 22nd. I don't think i will want to rush after the CP on Christmas eve to get back to the GF especially since i'm so clueless as to how crowded it really is.

As for my dates I noticed there is a theme park view open for a few dates after we are scheduled to leave.
I'd hate to leave the RPC but this way at least we'd be able to see new years eve fireworks from our room, right? I know you might not see the castle but all theme park view have to have a view of Wishes i would think.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Mike I am thinking of you, because it already super hot!!!! Drink alot of fluids!!!

I don't know if it is because we've had no AC for some time but today really isn't that bad yet. Its almost 2pm EST and the temp inside only says 80. during the week in here in was 84-85. I wonder if those weather guys did it to us again! I never listen to rain and snow forcasts because it seems like they try to scare everyone. But we'll see.

That sounded so nice. We did something like that when I graduted high school. Our prom was on a different night but we had an evening with our parents and we were all given roses to 'give to that special lady in your life'. I remember moms tears that night. :)

That must have sounded so scary! Thank God there was no there and you guys are ok! I can't believe how that car looks...I wonder how fast he was driving...

From the morning pics..did he come straight across thinking the road continued where your yard is?
