I AM NOT GOING BACK IN THAT THREAD!!! (haha yeah right!) I tried to give you some support and the guy went all wackadoo on my post.
I know...they are FREAKS over there.
That guy dosn't scare me..... He has never messed with a PMSing women.![]()
LOL!!! YOU GO GIRL!
I need a bit of PMS to get me in the right frame of mind to call L and order my cake.
I KNEW IT! I knew the person that didn't tip was from the UK. They don't tip waitstaff there, either. It's just a different system. BUT I know a concierge CM that recieved a $250 tip from a UK guest. So....it is all a state of mind. There is no comparison to what's customary in the UK and what is here... and now they are trying to throw that in there. I am just done wth that thread. It's ugly. You can't make people open up their wallets if they are cheap. Stingy, mean, greedy, whatever.
THey can rationalize not tipping all they want to themselves but IMO it comes across as cheap.
Denise, OK...sorry but I am kind of laughing here. The Pizza Hut guy??
Sounds like a total wack job. Vanessa! Yay!! Glad you got all your days too!!!

So I call the PH and speak to the manager about how rude he is, belligerent, calling me names. Manager comps the pizza. I tell the delivery guy and he is FURIOUS (no tip). I finally say I'm going to have to escort you out of the school. he is yelling, calling me names, saying it's my fault I didn't put a church on the order on-line (I did). We were walking down the hall and he goes the wrong way. I put my hand on the middle of his back (teacher habit) to guide him down the other hall. He stops, starts shaking his fists at me and yelling about not touching him, very threatening. He was totally out of control. All the church admin hear and come out. They make sure he leaves. He flies out of the parking lot (with kids outside). Call back and talk to the manager. Manager very apologetic and says he'll take care of it. I was really scared. The guy was big and didn't speak English very well. I know I shouldn't have touched his back, but it was an innocent habit (like I guide the kids). I seriously thought he was going to deck me.
Between that, being very sad (cried a lot) over leaving my job and friends, and the kids last day, I am exhausted and headed to bed soon.

It was a mad house. I may come off snooty but it certainly was not the lounges that I am used to! My husband described it as a house party. One woman caught my eye because she had a bathing suit on and sand all over her bottom and actually sat down in a chair
There was a group of people in the back that had the beers lined up and were belching out loud.
Finally our room was ready and we were assigned 2515. I knew right away that we didn't have a balcony being on the second floor but I was willing to sacrifice for the view. We got to the room and it was a lovely view of palm trees!
I went down to the desk and explained that although I was happy with the upgrade, a view of the castle was more important to me. (Esp after seeing the chaotic lounge) To make a long story short, a lovely CM asked if we wouldn't mind staying in that room tonight and they would move us to the 3rd floor tomorrow. Sure great until I found out we had to do the check out thing again and recheck in at 3. So from 11-3 I was room-less again. After we were in our new room, things got better but not like at GF or YC. THe view was dead on to the castle and I was excited to watch Wishes from the balcony until I found out the sound system was down so no music.
) so even for your remaining 6 days it would probably be well worth it. Mine always pays for itself the first trip we take after getting it b/c we go to Jiko A LOT and to other Signature rest. plus Kona and Sci Fi regularly and b/c you can use it at so many different places

We've stayed at the Poly CL hmm....five times and have had your experience every time. We've given it up. Not worth trying again.
The Poly is different alright. Yes, the one good thing is that food!
No we have never really watched that show. I saw America's Next Top Model when they had that really pretty blond blue eyed girl with RP on a couple years ago. She was great, too! When she said she has RP it was almost a thrill....we knew she had something but that was wild to have that in common. It was neat to see somebody that Lucy could relate to ahving RP & being successful. We know nobody else with this disease and it's so rare.
