We booked this August trip only about two weeks ago. We had such an amazing time in June and it was a unanimous decision that we could not wait until January to go back. So we are having a little six night fix at the Poly before school starts!

Isn't it great to go back so soon? We just got back from the Poly and head to the GF in a few weeks.
I can't wait to compare the two resorts.

When do you go back? I can't wait to hear what you think of the two. This will only be our second trip to Disney (having stayed at GF) so I will only be able to compare the GF and the Poly too.

We go back in 2 weeks.

It will be interesting to hear what you and I think of our first trips.

I've heard before that the first place you stay at becomes your favorite so I can see you praising the GF and me the poly but we'll see.

I just got an email from Julie of the Pod cast crew. She read my email on the show today and is sending me a Pod Squad T-Shirt! I'm so excited!!!

I sent her an email regarding the GF afternoon tea. She said she read it on the email/voice mail show. I can't wait to listen to it!!

Lesley, be careful with the Crocs on slippery surfaces, too!! Sorry for the bad news...but they slip and slide a lot! I have to also say, when Jojo was little she would slip and fall on her back often in the zero depth areas. I don't know what shoes would be good. We love our Keens, but not IN the pool...I guess for sprinkler areas they'd be good traction wise.

i have a few pairs of crocs and hate them because they're so ugly...I only wear them at WDW and they are basically new and still slippy. My kids are too. ESPECIALLY on the wet BoardWalk!! even in the am with dew. I bought 2 new pairs specifically for our July trip and left them at home. I couldn't bring myself to wear them.....I KNEW that would happen.

I don't say anything becuase there are some peeps around on the DIS that get snippy if an opinion is expressed....and my opinion of the POly isn't such a great one so I don't want to put myself out there to face anybody's misplaced aggressions ... it's just MY opinion but I'm stickin' to it and keeping it on the down low hush hush .....

Yesterday I heard from friends working at the GF that it's "dead" there. Maybe you guys will have that luck in August, too. Even during the July 4th time I didn't feel like it was crowded at teh GF.
