Why thank you :woohoo: so nice of you to say:yay:
oh well I love giving out special treatment.
So anymore new dresses and such for Savannah for the trip?
Have you started packing yet?
I see you partner in crime Vanessa isnt here yet today.

I had 6 dresses made for her. I starched them last night while watching a dumb movie. She also wants to wear her Alice dress so I am good :thumbsup2

I have gathered things together and started organizing but not really packing YET. I still don't know yet what I am packing for myself
if I lose these last 10 pounds I am packing my skinny clothes, if I don't lose the last 10 pounds I am packing my fat clothes

Hey Mandy,
How is the weather? Still hot? Will I need something longer for at night? I went last May and cant remembered what I packed! :) Do I dare ask how the lovebugs are this week?
TIA:goodvibes

I want to know about the Wildlife Discovery thing also. I am planning a VIP guide for the AK day so I have checked it off my list but may add it back on if it is over the top wonderful.

I am so glad you guys are doing the VIP thing first....then I know what I am getting myself into.

I think it will be easier and safer and well... i don't care for all Disney guest in the summer and thats all I'm gonna say :rotfl2:
It will make our time more magical. :wizard:

I turned 31 two months ago and sorry if it is rude to ask but Mandy, how old is your DH? I ask because my Dh is older than me and you mentioned yours is, too. My DH will be 48 this year...For all of you slow at math (like me), 17 years difference....It works for us and wouldnt change it for the world. I am also an old soul and love it! :goodvibes Not to be nosy but it peaked my curiosity when you said he was an old man! ;)

Siobhan

;) My fiance is 18 years older than me. I am an "old soul" as well, and he is the opposite, so we are really good for eachother.

maybe they WERE her wish and dream come true :rotfl:

:lmao:

Thanks Vanessa, they are great kids (most of the time)

Gals...I am going to take my "pink eye" to bed and hopefully it will be a better day tomorrow ;)

I hope today is a better day for you Dawn :goodvibes

My boys are talking about mother's day in the next room and they don't know I can hear...
Ryan: what are you getting mom for mothers day?
Donovan: not sure i haven't decided yet
Ryan: well it is this weekend you better think of something
Donovan: I guess I can get dad to take me to walmart tonight
Ryan: our mom? walmart? :rotfl: :rotfl: your kidding right?
Donovan: She doesn't care what I get her as long as it comes from the heart...
Ryan: Have you ever met our mother?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I love easedropping.. they are hysterical sometimes :rolleyes1

:rotfl2:

Channing, Good luck on your cake. Hopefully you can get past L! :wizard:

Mr. Mike, Glad you had such a nice stay! :goodvibes

BF is feeling lots better this morning. He is still sore, but does not feel like he might be dying now.
As I said above, BF is 18 years older than me, but I don't care. No one else seems to either (except my mom, a little, even though my dad is 10 years older than her :rolleyes1 ). We have been together for about 6 years now and lived together for a lot of that time, so we've been through a lot of the bad stuff and survived. I worked for him training horses for a long time, but I found that I could not work for him and be with him, so I went to work somewhere else. Funny enough, he works part time now in the same place that I do, aside from training horses, and that works fine for us because neither of us is working for the other, we are working with eachother. :goodvibes We are really good for eachother, and have already been through a lot together so I am not worried. :cloud9: He is very kind and good to me, and I just know he is going to be a great dad when we get there! :lovestruc

I liked hearing everyones stories.

Have a great day ladies (and Mr. Mike)!

I am using the VIP tour thing so I can be the "hero" of our trip instead of the "I cannot believe you brought me to WDW during the week between Xmas and New Years." "We are not going back for a very long time." See I am no dummy here. Sometimes spending more money means more relaxed trips for the dh which means more trips for me!!:)

I hear ya...my DH is different :sad2:
his idea of the perfect trip is to hike 150 miles into the smokey mountains ....everything you need for 2 weeks on your back :scared1: he is a total naturalist guru... he watches suvivorman and laughs
me...err.. not so much on the back to nature kind of thing :rotfl2:

Alright! We are on the same page here! :)

Mr. Mike welcome back!! What a great surprise, an upgrade!!!

Sorry your home already but, I love whenever some gets back, I love the pictures!!! Can't wait to see!!:goodvibes

My dh keeps saying..."Next year-we are going to Colorado. There is more to life than just WDW. I keep saying as long as the kids are young we might as well take them some place that they will find magical and enjoy. He just says this stuff. The truth is he loves the place and we always have a great time! (he loves everything but the crowds!)

Channing - I forgot to mention that Justice is not the same company as Limited too. About a month ago, Big Wigs from the L2 were checking out our local L2, they were randomly asking customers questions about the store and products. I happened to be one of the people they questioned and I asked them about Justice and they said they have noting to do with that store and the two are completely different companies!! I was so surprised myself!!

That is funny. The girl that manages our Justice store said they were affiliated with Limited Too. Wonder what the deal is??

Alright! We are on the same page here! :)

You got it!

If you put that you were using one of these guides on the Theme Park board you would get eaten alive.

I think it is a great idea. I know it is expensive but I have dealt with long lines with little kids and it is NO fun. I know you do not get in the front of the line but you get seating for all the shows etc. I have never been at Xmas but the word on the boards is that it is just awful.

Hope you have a great trip!!

Thankfully we have 2 older boys he can play rambo with!
All 3 of them love camping and doing the nature thing.
There idea of the perfect WDW trip is bringing their tents and staying at the campgrounds :rotfl2:
I am so glad I am in charge of this family :rotfl2:

We went to Az (DH and I) for a romantic weekend a while back. He suprised me with a really nice spa resort in the senoma desert and I was so thrilled he did something sooo romantic for me... and then we get there and he surprises me with a "romantic" hike in the desert, a hot air balloon ride, a jeep 4 wheel day trip :sad2:
I kept saying to myself ... WHERE IS THE DAM SPA he promised me :rotfl2:
that was the last trip DH planned for us

My DS was pretty easy to potty train. I didn't really do anything! lol. One day he got that look and I took him to the potty and said, "If you go poo-poo in the potty, we'll go buy you some Superman underwear!" He said, "Ok." With a grunt and so we had to go to the store within a matter of about 15 seconds. lol.
Now, I was still putting him in pull-ups to send him to school, but my mom kept them when we were out of town and put underwear on him to send him to school. She didn't even realize she did it. :upsidedow The next day I sent him in a pull up and his teacher said, why did you put him in a pull-up? He did great in underwear yesterday? I was like   :woohoo: In that order. lol. That was it. He was bout 27 months
DD was easy too.

Maybe you should book him a spa treatment the next time you are at the GF:rotfl:

He would be bored to tears!
We have a really nice spa over by our house and I use it regularly... I have tried to get him to make an appointment but his idea of relaxing and mine are very different :rolleyes1

Dh is such a nut!

I am wearing a little skort this morning... a sports type that is made out of sweat pant material....
anyway its a little short... not mini but above the knee... he comes up to me (he is off from work today) and hugs me and is like ohhh yeah thats...hey you got shorts on under this... :rotfl2: so now he wants to outlaw skorts ... says it takes out all the fun of short skirts :rotfl2:

Highs for the next seven days are around 90 and lows are around 70...... It is getting HOT HOT HOT! :headache: My kids played on the big blow up water slide yesturday afternoon :woohoo:

I honestly have not noticed many love bugs. We were at a park 5 min from our house and there were tons of em but back home not so much. Disney is 45 min from my front door so if there is a difference 5 min from here you never know! I think a few pages back mr. mike posted about his trip and mentioned them. They are really unpredictable so I wish I could help more but I can't!

HTH, Mandy

Forgot to add: here is a link to a LOCAL forcast!

On the lovebugs:

When my dad and I went to WDW this past October, we heard they would be horrible. We only saw them in one spot though:

We did the Around the World on a Segway Tour (really good, if anyone is interested). When we rode through China, there was a spot just to the side of the door to Nine Dragons that was so thick with them it looked like a giant, writing black mass. We rode past the edge, and they got on people's left socks (the side we rode past) and that was all. We never saw them any other time or place for the entire week
