Dawn......Tell me more about this warm up next week . I am so tired of this crappy cold snowy weather . I am SO READY for spring . AND......I'm ready for another IL gals meet to MAGGIANO'S . Just say the word, Gals .


Chan......All I've been feeling is COLD . We will probably go from winter to summer with no spring.........then we'll be complaining it's too hot . Us Chicagoland gals are never happy......atleast I never am . I noticed that bedding thread today and couldn't believe the number of pages there are .

Brook I double checked with IPO what they said is you can book from 90 days of the day of your arrival to 10 days foward... so the calculator would be used to show you when you are at the 90 day from arrival point....and then you can book all of your ADRs, cabans days, tours...whatever...for your entire stay...

Am I confusing everyone now...

We used to always like being able to wing where we ate and when depending on how the day was going...energy levels...etc...but you just cant do that any more if you like to eat at TS restaurants...at least not for the most part...

Maybe if they make people leave CC#s with their ADRs things will stop being overbooked....

I watched Survivor!! Oh...I am SO RELIEVED COACH is still on!! Whew....It wouldn't be as fun to watch without him.

It's nice to be back here this morning instead of in a classroom . It was also good not to get up at 4:20 a.m. . I have to run to Target today but for now it's coffee and computer time .


Marvel.......I don't know where you get 'em, but your pics are hilarious . I agree with Chan.....this one is almost as good as the other one....but it is still hilarious . I better remember to never be drinking anything when I pull up this thread because I never know what might pop up .


BlueDeb.......We are expecting more snow late tonight into tomorrow....so I'll be sure to send it your way . Not sure where it's all supposed to go exactly, but they are calling for anywhere from 3-8" throughout Chicagoland, some totals more than others depending on where you're at .


I hope everyone has great day......I'm so glad it's Friday .

DEB>... I know!! But with Marvel's new drinking technique...if you use it you have a spit cup. Nothing goes anywhere. So many times my kids see/hear me laughing here and they are like WHAT??? What??

Whew...I thought I read this and it said you had ALREADY done the Target run!! Eek. I had to REREAD!!! I did my Target yesterday. I am home today....and DS is home "sick"...but mostly not really. We just had another ugly fight last night...and it was wearying. He is taking a "mental" day...and oh great...his mental day is here WITH ME. I am calling the Dr. today to see if he has suggestions for somebody he can talk to. It can't be me.....we have too much junk between us.

Oh boy...my guy Hugh Jackman.... He's hosting the Oscars!!! Now..that is not something I would normally make a point to watch....but I am going to try this time.

They are predicting SNOW tonight. Darn...I was thinking spring was about here....Keep counting Maxie!

I almost forgot to get Jojo on the BUS!! I was sitting here typing away....... THAT is BAD.

Do you know.....during my Target run yesterday I bought coffee...and coffeemate....but I FORGOT TO BUY A NEW COFFEEMAKER!!! I guess "small appliances" isn't an area of Target I usually venture into.....I have my pattern of shopping there. LOSAH. So I am having some tea...iced tea because I don't have hot.

Good Morning!

I really should get some stuff done today before the snow gets here, but it has been a really unmotivating week!

I went over to the budget board in search of a gymbo rise and shine code so now I need to wait and see if one of the lovely ladies over there can come through for me The new Easter line is cute and I haven't bought anything at gymbo since the Christmas line (so unlike me!! )

SW dropped their fares again!! I just switched my return flight from Tuesday to Wednesday!!! Now lets just hope that AP rate comes out to get my cost down (but if not, too bad, so sad- DH said we could stay the extra day! )

For those looking, it was $83 each way.

Ugh..yeah...it's gonna be lovely here. He is sleeping..he could sleep the day away and it would be fine with me. I am a "sh*tty parent"....he was my "guinea pig"... which basically he was ...i had never even held a baby until I had him!! And I am "bipolar"...and I am lots of other things I can't even write here I mean...I guess I could ...but I won't ...too many of these Bbbbbbeeeeep things * to be clear what I am ...I did call the dr...felt like a losAH but they are great so we shall see. Waiting for a call back. He has been a pissy teen for years...but now lately it's unbearable...and he said he "went off on another kid" ..which is NOT like him....so something is not quite right. I think I need to make an appointment to get my hair colored.

I used my old coffeemaker to make coffee....it's fine...but SLOWWWWwwww.....I needed it today.

This is all still from my ticketless travel funds from the December trip. I haven't paid a dime in airfare for this trip and I still have $109 in my fund that expires 6/26/09. At least now I know the SW fare game. When flights come out for this December, I know not to book right away and watch alittle so I don't get stuck with another HUGE credit like last year



Sorry about Z It might time for a good med so he can get his chemicals in order and then sort out the anxiest (which the imbalance is preventing right now) Sorry, there is my BS in Psych coming out Anyway, calling the doctor was ABSOLUTELY the right thing to do!!!

Chan........You sure did read that wrong......me out THAT early BEFORE coffee .......only Kelly does that.....and without coffee . I was still in my pjs with my huge MGM coffee mug sitting right next to me . How can you FORGET a coffee maker ........didn't the coffee and creamer ring a bell . I would have lost it by now if I were without a coffee maker this long . You make a very good point about Marvel's new drinking techniques . I'm sorry about Z and I hope the doctor can help .



Kristin......WTG on the airfare credit . I was never a SWA gal but I think I've made the switch too . We flew them for the first time last year and it wasn't that bad.....not being able to pick seats when booking always irritated me so I never really priced them . But I have always gotten awesome fares on other airlines......and I was able to get seat assignments.....but now with SWA (most of the time) being the cheapest AND not charging fees for the first 2 pieces of luggage, I'm more apt to book with them .

Deb, I was a BASKET CASE about the seating thing (ask Chan ) but it was great. I checked in at exactly the 24 hour mark and got a high A group. My dad checked us in for the return flight and got us an even better A seating (we got to sit in the second row of the plane!!) I thought the service was top notch, the newly redone Midway is A LOT nicer than I thought it would be and the drive wasn't too bad since we went at non-rush hour times. I am SOLD on SW almost for the service alone (polite staff, easy booking and credit policy etc) but the prices can't be beat and the 2 bags was a lifesaver in December!!

I was always worried about that too because I often heard horror stories about their boarding being described as "herding cattle" . But they have since changed that with the way you line up according to your A,B, or C passes and numbers.....so it's a little more organized than before . The luggage thing isn't an issue for us as we all just take one suitcase each.....but it is nice to know that you are allowed two per person without being charged a fee . I just wish the summer fares would start coming down .

Woohoo!! That code saved me $75 Now my little guy is set for Easter, plus I picked up a couple of summer outfits and a couple of things on clearance. This was one of the better boy lines in awhile- they were on a real dry spell

What a day! Save money on gymboree, get my flight changed to stay a day longer at WDW. It almost makes that inmpending snow storm seem not so bad!!

Busy morning here I was up and out early...for breakfast(love going out to breakfast) ...a little shopping and now I am back...and frozen!

Deb Your cold weather is here alright...just not the snow YET!!! I cant believe the difference from yesterday...it really is the wind though... I need a wind blown smilie...

Channing So sorry about your DS....calling the doctor was definitely the right thing.... What is it about teen and their sleeping habits!!!! When they are babies we cant get them to sleep...and then the teen years hit and they never want to get up.... My gang even tried this on vacation...I said up and at em!....and sometimes they listened....Hope things get better soon...

Kristin WTG on the SW fares and the shopping!!! Lately when shopping for the little ones around here I have found real cute stuff in Janie and Jack...and when they have sales I have been able to do real well!
