Morning gals! Just thought I would pop in. I read some of the posts and glad you guys had a good trip. Sounds like it was a blast!! Loved the Barbie and the dog...still laughing right now.:rotfl2:

Life is busy with the kids and I had WDW burnout but now I am back. I am planning a trip to Hilton Head in July instead of WDW. I do not know what it is but I am just not ready to go back yet. The Xmas trip made me tired thinking about it!

Glad all is going well for everyone.

B-glad to see you back.
:goodvibes

Really unsure what is going on witht he post on the thread being closed. Did I miss something.:confused3

Have a great day!! V

HEY V!

Good Morning everyone. Day 2 of school vacation week lets see how today goes. Tomorrow is DS4 bday and I cant wait. He is so cute!

DS9 stayed up late last night with his Dad so I am hoping he will sleep in today so I can get some things done this morning.

Channing-Are you watching the Batchlor this year? I know some years you have, just wasn't sure if you had gotten into this one. Hopefully today will be less stressful for you.

Vanessa-Glad to see you are back and recovered. I've never been to HH, everytime we pass the exits going to WDW, we mention it, but we haven't gone yet. I hear that it is lovely.

Have a good day everyone, I have to go back into our filing room at work today and go make sure boxes are labeled correctly before they are sent off to the warehouse. At least it will make time go by fast - Lisa.

Kel... they grow so fast don't they?!:sad2:

V- HOWDY darlin :goodvibes we are getting geared up for our July trip!

Any of you gals planning on being at the grand for the week of July 18-26?
Maybe Mandy will want to meet up with me again so I can hug on those adorable little gals she has :goodvibes
and this time my hubby will be with me so your hubby won't have to feel all girlie!!!!!! They can go do MANLY stuff :rotfl:

Today I have to work on training with my puppy, Bentley. We have been working on a couple of new tricks and I want to get them down pat!
We finished our obedience course and he is DA BOMB when it comes to training! He was the top student in the class :thumbsup2
We are working on becoming a therapy dog team and so far he is doing REALLY well. We have also been working on playing "BANG" your dead and roll over and jumping up for a high 5. I need to get him better on healing without a leash as he is still a puppy and when he gets excited he forgets :rotfl2:
I am totally into this clicker training and LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I just wish I could clicker train my kids! :rotfl2:
Bentley (my pup) won pet of the month for Wellness pet foods last month... let me see if they still have his webpage up =) nope they picked a new pet for Feb already but he is in the archives =)
I am going to try and post a link to a few pics of him from myspace page... I will see if it works

Blue Deb..I think my DH got the cheese in Dec! I will ask him. My DH and DS love cheese! DS came home with school artwork for Valentine's Day! It was a heart with all things he loved inside. Mummy, Daddy, playgrounds, and let us not forget cheese! It was priceless! :rotfl:

Morning Gals :surfweb:

Yesterday was nice not having to get DSs up and out to school.....but today they're back to the old grind so it's VERY QUIET here :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Hi, Vanessa.....I was just asking Chan about you last week when I talked to her......I was wondering where you were......good to see you back :goodvibes.

Kelly......How fun that your little guy is turning 4 tomorrow :yay:. It was quite some time ago for me having a four year old......my "baby" will be 14 next month :scared1:.......the time just flies by :sad2:. Enjoy it while you can :). Do you have a big party planned??? Having parties when mine were little were so much fun......alot of work.....but still fun :thumbsup2.

Siobhan......I'm sorry that nasty cough is back :sad2:. I hope it goes away soon and you can feel better :flower3:.

Brook.....We would have been down there the same time as you if we didn't change our dates. We were booked for 7/17-7/24......but when the 4/3 deal came out we switched to June to take advantage of it ;).

Hi to everyone else :wave2:.

Deb

He is 8 months old and weighs 70 pounds right now!!!
He is huge even by Golden Retriever standards!
Luckily he is not hyper at all .. a very good and calm boy
No Marley here!!!:thumbsup2

Good Morning everyone!

Dawn Belated Happy Birthday!:bday:

It has been a pretty crazy long weekend her! DH and I went out to dinner on Friday thanks to our church. They had free babysitting so parents could go out for the evening.:thumbsup2 Good thing we did it early....DH and I came down with colds and now DS has a flu bug:scared1: I just hope DD doesn't catch it!

Kelly- Wow DS is turing 4!!! They don't stop growing!

Brook- Your puppy is so cute!:cool1: It makes me want one. I love big puppies!

Siobahn- I hope you and DD feel better soon!

I hope everyone has a good day!:goodvibes

Hi Deb! Have you decided to keep your June dates now...:confused3 It would be great if you and I and Channing all had overlapping trips....:thumbsup2

I know you were thinking about changing...we're not... we are keeping June...the summer months are too busy for the kids with their summer jobs and all...

So hopefully we'll all be planning a cabana day together...it would be great fun....:) maybe Mandy will be able to join us too....

Your baby is going to be 14!!! Oh yeah thats about the age when they start to KNOW everything!!!!....:rotfl:

I was glad they extended the deal! I couldn't believe I got RPC with the 4/3 code! Our original dates were july 19-25 but since we got the deal I booked 2 extra nights and we still came out cheaper!
Full price for 8 nights/9 days was 7700
We were paying 6,055 for 6 nights/7days
NOW our price for 8 nights/9 days is 5,300
That code saved us 2,400 bucks :yay:
I then added a meal plan to our package not for any savings but just cause its easier for us to use the key

I just got a memo from FD...

Anty is 4 today and will be 5 tomorrow! :rotfl:

He sounds like our yellow Lab. Hunter was around 5-7 pounds when we got him as a pup 3 years ago (he was 7 weeks old).........he reached 105 pounds right around a year old :rotfl: :rotfl:. Hunter is very calm too......he's a big baby that just lays around sleeping all day :goodvibes.

Deb ;)

Deb ;)

Sounds like they are a lot alike. HA HA
Bentley is really calm and I swear i can teach him any trick in 20 minutes flat. He is really that smart!

Have you seen Marley and me? I read the book a few years ago and HAD to go see the movie. Boy talk about bawling my eyes out!
A few months back our mutt dog (Serious) passed away due to a brain tumor. It was reallllllyyyy hard for me.

We actually have 2 other dogs .. a 12 year old corgi (pepper) and a 10 year old lab (china)
We almost lost china in Oct. She has a spinal disk disease.
She is on meds and she is doing a LOT better but I know we are on borrowed time with her.
That movie liked to kill me... I went through a whole box of kleenexes!!!!!

Christine How nice.. a night out and free babysitting...so sorry that you are all under the weather....feel better soon!!

FD We'll miss you....:upsidedow

Kelly 5 is still a nice age too.....:)... once they hit those tweens and then teens....:headache: look out....

Ok I need to get going...:rotfl: tty all later:flower3:

BlueDeb........Yea....we're sticking with June :goodvibes. With my brother, sister, and parents going with us, it's harder to just change things on a whim like I'm used to doing :rotfl: :rotfl:. Everybody's work schedules are very flexible except my sister's.......and since she already arranged for those June dates, we're keeping those :thumbsup2. So we will be there the same time.....and I hope Chan keeps her June dates too......that would be so much fun being there together and all staying at the GF :). I think Wendy was thinking of going sometime during that time as well....but I can't remember :confused3.

Brook......No, I haven't seen Marley & Me and after reading reviews, I will not be seeing it :sad2:. I know I would lose it and probably never recover from it :rotfl:. But I am glad I read about it beforehand because I can't take sad movies.....especially with Marley being a Lab :sad1:.

Christine.....Glad you had a nice dinner out with your DH :). Sorry DS got sick :(. I hope your DD doesn't catch it.

Deb :upsidedow

What the heck happened here? :confused3 I go away for a weekend and Amish Chan is causing problems? I don't believe it. Sweet Chan. :cutie: That's can't be right!:sad2:

BlueDeb: I've heard the cheese platter at Cali Grill is wonderful. I'd think it would be enough to share, cheese is filling. I've heard the best cheese platter at Jiko is the best on property, with Ca Grill second. That's so sweet DH got you DD coffee  I decided to do Coral Reef for the boys but I'm still unsure of Tony's. I told DH that's it's the worst restaurant on property. He refuses to eat CS. So we might have to do Crystal Palace lunch twice (final meal in WDW has to be a character meal). I HATE doing that with so many other choices out there, but I have to think of where the boys will enjoy it. Still on the fence about The Plaza. Think they'd rather go to CP twice. Ugh, how many more years until we can go without them???:confused3 DH keeps asking me! :rotfl2:

Vanessa: Hi  You'll love Hilton Head! We stayed there many moons ago and always talk of returning. The DVC resort is very nice, the one thing that it's missing is a restaurant on property. Don't know if they added that? Other than that, we loved it! :thumbsup2

Brook: Cute puppy! :cutie: We're not allowed to have pets in our building. My boys would love a dog. They love to go to PetSmart and buy doggie toys and treats for our friends dogs.

Marvel: Welcome back. Hey I thought of you recently. I was watching 20/20 when they had an investigation on the Hudson plane crash, they said that TWO known bird santuaries are located just north of LGA! Bird watchers (or whatever they're called!) knew this plane crash would eventually happen! Don't fly out of LGA!! The bird santuaries are located on the small islands off LGA. Scary isn't it! :scared1: Make the drive to JFK. There's no traffic at 5am :rotfl: Seriously, we live 5 mins from LGA, we always go to JFK.

Siobhan: Sorry to hear your cough came back

Deb & Christine: Hi!

Valentine's Day was nice and quiet in the country. DH gave me a beautiful diamond cross. I was really surprised. I wasn't expecting it. I already have a small diamond cross, he surprised me with an upgrade :rotfl:

For DS2's bday we got him a mini electric ride on ATV. I thought we were going to leave it in the country, but it's so small we brought it back to the city and now he's driving it in the apt crashing into everything. :rotfl2: He's so proud of himself for making it "go". :rotfl2: It's just too funny to watch! He pushes the button not paying attention to where he's going then crash. But he's laughing and that's all that matters!

Okay, enough of my novel. Gotta feed these munchkins.

TTYL,
Mare
