Channing Dont feel bad I am packing 4 pairs of shoes for 2 days.... I mean you need flip flops just in case its warm...need tennies just in case your feet hurt...need a dressy sandal just in case you go out to dinner...and an extra pair of favorities just in case you dont want to wear any of the others...right...

Mare Enjoy that your DS can get long wear out of his clothes now...because once he hits his teens...look out! they grow like weeds...!!

You are so right......you have to think abut the "just in case" situations .

This is so true as my 13 yo is on the small side and it took him FOREVER to grow out of anything . But now he's growing faster than I can keep up with him . I bought him 5-6 pairs of jeans in August right before school started and before Thanksgiving he was complaining that his jeans were getting small and short . So take advantage of it while you can .

I spoke too soon earlier when I said the weather report was off since it was nice and sunny here . It has been snowing here for over an hour and the wind is blowing so hard that it's making it hard to see . We may just be in for ALOT of snow like what was predicted .

Inquiring minds Kel...how do you do it!! I'd like to figure out a way DH and I could share one suitcase...(it would have to be a very large one at that!!)

yeah 2 suitcases for me my DH and my 2 sons for 2 weeks at disney.

I usually take more than I need but manage to get my stuff in 1 large suitcase.....with DH and both DSs taking 1 each as well ......and that's for just ONE week.......not TWO . How on earth do you get FOUR people packed into only TWO suitcases for 2 weeks ??? I always take too much but we have never gone over 4 suitcases for all of us....and there's no way I could only take two .

Deb We usually have one each (large)plus one extra carry bag for toiletries...lysol, clorox wipes... just a few cleaning supplies...what can I say..

I see you are a just in case girl too.... Cant help it!!

And on those growing boys...just keep shopping...

I am sitting here with mine and Dawn's SWA confirmations.....waiting patiently...a few more minutes.....WHOOHOOO!!!!!

I have just walked away from the packing. Thanks for the help guys...I am going to have to rethink my plans.... It was so giving me a headache...I think it's the going out in the evening and dressing up that's throwing me!! The thought of having the extra nicer outfit.....ugh. And then of course the weather.

Channing, for your dressy evening, just bring a pretty shaw (cashmere or pashmina) to cover up. That saved me every night while we went out to dinner and it was pretty chilly.

I dont do laundry on vacation either!! I do enough when we get back...and all year round for that matter...

I say if you run out of something on vacation buy more...its vacation...

Evening Gals

We didn't get too much snow here but it is SO WINDY that the snow we do have is drifting like crazy . We got the call about an hour ago that there is a 2 hour delay tomorrow . If this wind keeps up and/or we get more snow, school will be called for sure . I still get up with DH and get him off to work but atleast the boys can sleep an extra 2 hours .


Chan.......Good job on the A boarding passes . I don't do laundry on vacation either .....it's not a vacation to me if I have to do everything I do at home every day . Even when we rented a house the last 2 years in March with my family I did not utilize the washer/dryer or the full kitchen.....too much work for a gal who's supposed to be taking it easy and having fun .


Hi Traci .......Glad to see you here again.....you've been away too long .


BlueDeb.......I totally agree .......if I run out of things while on vacation I just do more shopping . Not too good for the bank account but it sure does help the wardrobe .


I hope all you trip gals are packed and ready to go . You will be on those planes and landing at MCO before you know it . HAVE A GREAT TIME AND TAKE LOTS OF PICS!!!!!!!!!

You all have been chatty today. I tried to catch up, but I know I will forget something.

BlueSkies, I went back to work today and didn't get home until almost 7. It has been snowing all day. We are supposed to get about 7 inches. 45 days until spring.

Krisitn, love the cupcakes and cake. I can bake, but I can not decorate.

Amy, you look beautiful in your dress. Can't wait to see more pics, keep them coming.
