OK, I finished The Other Boleyn Girl book. They really did take a few liberties in the movie

OK, I know some of you didn't care for her other stuff, but of those of you who do, what do you recommend next????????? The Other Queen? The Boleyn Inheritance??

Also, can I just say the freakdog is starting to freak me out I mean, come on, who let the dog out??

You need to read the Boleyn Inheritance next.....If you want to go back in time to Katherine before she married Henry then read "The Constant Princess". That is the book I am on now....

spacec47 I see your next trip is to the CR...we are long time CR fans too...GF is my hands down favorite but CR is definitely next...

I can't wait to see the new rooms and play with the inroom computers The GF is by far my favorite but I am an engineer so I like to play with technology

Siobhan I enjoyed the Kite Runner too..wasnt something I normally would choose either but a friend recommended it and lent it to me and I'm glad that I read it...

Christine The new CR room deocr is sooo much better than the last rehab...modern elegance IMO also I thought it was neat to have the in room computers...you could contact housekeeping etc right online...

Havent read any of the Boleyn books but maybe those will be next...

Hey other Deb ......Sometimes it seems like all THREE boys have me running around .......with DH as the ring leader . I was around today......just got buried under LOTS of . But I did manage to get all but one load done along with ironing ....so it was a pretty productive day . Plus I had to bake Oatmeal cookies for DH and DS13 as well as Peanut Butter Blossom cookies for DS15........nothing like each kid wanting something different . Then at 6:30 tonight DS13 says, "Are you going to make cupcakes???" . Needless to say my answer was "NO....not tonight!!!".....I guess they figure since I'm home all day I have all the time in the world.....and then nothing else to do at night . Tomorrow will be a busy day for me as I have a bunch of errands to run and then I'm meeting my brother for lunch.......so I probably won't be chatting until later in the afternoon . I'm sure I'll have alot to catch up on when I get back .

evening all...i am watching the Bachelor..but it's commercial time. My favorite, Nicki went home!!! boohooo!

Wow..I HATED the Boleyn girl book....hated it. the peeps were all so nasty and conniving. There was nobody in that book I could sympathize or empathize with!! I am surprised anybody likes those books...it sounds bad but i really am. THey are all dark & disturbing. I had another of her books sitting on my nightstand for months....and i couldn't get into it at all...I think it might have been the Constant Princess???....ugh....I had to just put it away and throw in the towel which I hHATE to do with books!!!

I love Jean Plaidy books. They are fact based historical fiction but much more fun page turning reads IMO. Anybody read her?? She is awesome...I started with Victoria Holt in middle school and she has several pen names...and Jean Plaidy is one. Also Phillipa Carr...AWESOME reads. Intense page turning books!!!

How about Karlene Koen? I enjoyed her Through the Glass Darkly...but I have the other two in the series sitting here...they are HUGE and daunting...I have to just dig in and do it.

Siobhan and BlueDeb and Kristin and any other readers out there ....I read The Kite Runner and Thousand Splendid Suns and they were AWESOME!!! They are not what i would usually pick up but i also did on a friend recommendation and I was glad...though they are sad....My DS (freshman) can read Kite Runner for extra credit..i told him to read it he would like it...

OK one of my favs in a long time is....Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster...OMG hysterical!!! I laughed out loud throughout the whole book!

if anyone wants more recommended reading choices...let me know!

Ok back from taking DS to school.

I colored my hair last night and it is not horrible but i think i should have gone darker...... DH actually likes it and told me to save the box so i could get the same color, so i guess that is good HE is man and honestly they don't know much

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Sorry I have been MIA, I've been helping my DS study for midterms!!! This weather is killing me, I am so tired of being cold and I miss the sun!!!

I need another book, I love Nicholas Sparks I was going to read the Lucky One. But if you recommend the others, I could use something different (as long as there is no Vampires)!!! lol lol lol!!!!

So, what is everyone's plans for Superbowl??? I am having a few people over, that way I could invite a few girlsfriends so I am not alone. We do the same thing every year and it really turns out to be a nice night. I am trying to figure out my menu. I order heros, but then I also put out the typical bar food.

Lesley - Congrats on the baby and your boys are cutier then ever!!!

No snow here but it's VERY COLD . I don't think winter is ever going to end . Further south of us is getting hit hard with snow and ice . I think we're due for some snow but nothing more than about an inch or so . Busy day for me today but I've got a little time before I have to head out .

omg..i just looked at the clock and realized OMG! JOJO has TO HUSTLE!!! Or I will be driving her.....ugh......

Yeah..on GMA they said "The iceman cometh"....blanketing the plains states to New England....but we have nothing! Thank God....just cold. We are supposed to get snow later....but I hope not much.

Oh no for you guys up NE!!! I hope it's not as bad as they've said it would be.

I am bored today. Can you tell? And that is bad....bored = trouble.......lol
