DH just called and his vacation time for the GALS trip was approved!

He put in his request in DEC and never heard anything and checked yesterday with the secretary and they never got the request! There are some down falls to doing things on the computer. Anyways he resubmitted hi request and it got approved!

16 days and counting for me!

I didn't know i had to worry either!

When he originally submitted his time off request NO one was was taking vacay so it was just a matter of submitting it.

HE called ME yesterday to confirm the dates...... I am glad he was on top of things, he wants me to go and was so worried and panicky that it was not enough notice! I though it was sweet!

I haven't heard that in QUITE a WHILE!!

The podcast isn't up on Itunes yet......?? It's still last week's. I enjoy Pete's rants. Don't always agree with them but I enjoy hearing somebody blow their stack.

Oh ....I just ordered ANOTHER jean jacket....so I have like 6 different jackets to bring. NOT including the hoodies or tangled sweaters....I don't think I can pack light ....I am getting concerned.

Mandy-I felt so sorry for Damien, he seems like he really wants to be there. Joelle gets on my nerves, I hated that they spent so much camera time on her - she does need some help.

Channing-Raleigh on GMA, I missed it, we had the tv on another station looking at the forcast and listening to the 700 cancelations around town. The sun is coming out today so all of this white stuff should be gone by tomorrow. It is a shame that the capital of a state gets shut down by a little snow! I love all of you captions, they are adorable.

Guess I may try to head to work for a few hours, the main roads look fine - Lisa.

Hey...you're one of us ...we can't have your A@@ draggin'....that's not up to GF GAL standards. Tangle a sweater around it and get on the crazy bus. (tangled sweaters can sometimes camouflage those dragging parts LOL) Sometimes pressure and tangling is a good thing.

Lisa, bummer you missed it!! They showed several seconds worth and cars slip sliding on the roads. It actually did look pretty bad! Be careful driving.

I LOVE GUM GUM saying!

My kids started saying "hey dum dum you got gum gum" after a weekend at my MIL. I had NO clue it was from a movie. Then we got Night at the Museum in the 6 dollar bin at walmart and we watched it and now i hear "hey dum dum....." at least once a day!

OH they are saying there is gonna be a American Idol event on the 12th with all the past winners!
