So I got SOAKED tonight during bathtime! DH went out with his friends so I had to do bathtime. DS1 insisted on wearing his Mickey bathing suit OVER his Buzz Lightyear PJs. When I turned to get DS5 a towel, DS1 (already dressed in PJs and bathing suit) climbed back into the tub! Thankfully the water drained enough that it was down to his feet and didn't wet his PJs. It was some adventure!!

I could really use a Grey Goose Slushie right now

Maxie & Deb: I was thinking the same thing! I don't live in CA! Glad it's also on other non-food items. I was thinking the non-stick coating was toxic or something. So you gals think it's safe? I think it's really cute how you can also bake muffins in it. The warning just scared me off.

Evening everyone, I have been running all day. Went to the "fun doctor" this morning, then met my DH for lunch. Hit the grocery store and a couple other places. Came home, unloaded groceries, fixed my brother/sil supper (her grandmother is not doing well at all). Just a few minutes ago my sil called and asked if her kids could come over and watch movies while my brother and her go back to the hospital, so they should be here soon. We'll watch a movie, then I'll take them back home and put them in bed (they are 12 and 15).

We'll I gotta go, I'll chat more tomorrow, glad the GF gals are having a good time - Lisa.

Hi all! New here; just booked the GF RPC for the end of Sept. before our magic cruise. We have never stayed at the GF; it's my Bday trip-so I got to choose Shocker-mom never gets to pick! LOL Looks like super fun over here. My name is Angel and I have 3 kids DD age 16, 2 boys ages 7 and 4.My DH thinks I spend too much time on these boards LOL.

I know pretty much nothing about the GF;have been to the charcacter brkfst a few times though-my kids love Alice in Wonderland. I can't wait for Sept!

Good Morning Gals


I just watched the weather report and it's supposed to be a high of 52 today......and up to 57 on Tuesday......COME ON SPRING . I hope it's warm down in Florida for you gals .


GF Gals......I hope you enjoyed your dinner last night at Cali Grill . Can't wait to hear what you all have planned for the rest of the weekend .


Kristin......Yea....I did make it through a day of 8th graders . But omg....it was SO BORING . I was having chat withdrawals . All you do is pretty much sit there after taking attendance and giving the kids their work for the day. I'll have to see if I'm allowed to bring a laptop . But DS was so cute.....I took some bottled water to have with me and DS came in between every class for a drink and to say hi......it was so cute . And I knew atleast a few kids in every class since it was DS's grade.......except 6th hour didn't know anyone in there......but then that was my horror hour . But all in all it was a good day .


Amy......An $18,000 tote bag . I'm sure you and Randy will really enjoy having DVC . We've thought about buying into it a few times but the Poly is one resort we love to stay at and I know that once we stay at the GF in June that will be at the top of our list......so we wouldn't get too much use out of our DVC points . Plus we would have to buy a boat load of points to be able to rent the 2 bedroom villas every time since DSs would not last a week sleeping on a pullout in a studio or 1 bedroom . But if it weren't for those 2 factors, we would have probably bought in by now. Have fun with it and enjoy all those future trips to Disney .


Mare......Sounds like you got a bath along with DSs yesterday . Too funny about DS1 and his bathing suit OVER his pjs.....and then getting back into the tub . Aren't kids just so cute .

Glad to hear it is warm where you are, we usually get the same a day later. It was 3 when I got up this morning, but is supposed to get to 40 later and 50 tomorrow.

Mare, I don't worry about those warnings, it is on everything. Everything is known by the State of California to cause cancer or other health problems. It used to be the rats in Canada, now it is the State of Californina

We haven't heard from the bus driver. Do you think she is misbehaving and they have her locked up somewhere? Maybe so she can't wake them up too early.

It's actually pretty nice today......the sun is shining and it's a nice temperature (although I'm not sure what it is exactly.....all I know is it's NOT freezing out ). You should be getting this tomorrow . I'm waiting for Tuesday when it's supposed to be 57 . Might have to break out the capris cuz that will be a heat wave . I am LOVING that spring countdown......keep it going........only 41 more days

Angel-Welcome, you are going to love the GF. My birthday is in September also, but we are going in November this year.

Kristin-I tried the Lemon Turkey tonight. You were right, it was delicious! My DH first thought it was salmon on the plate, he said it didn't even taste like Turkey, thank you for the recommendation.

Hope everyone has had a good day. I cleaned this morning, baked a cake for church this afternoon and did our taxes (yuck, hate doing those). I just finished cleaning the kitchen, now I'm going to take it easy for the rest of the evening. Have a good one - Lisa.

The weather here is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Its getting me more in the mode for my WDW trip in June.

As we wait for our GF Gals return I have a question about ADRs. Since I value all your opinions and by some of the recipes we all like good food. Tell me....what ressies do you make for your family. I am sorry my kids are too old for character meals, so I am looking for non-character.

Our family really loves Narcoosees...a tradition on arrival day! Also, Citricos has become a new favorite. We used to enjoy Whispering Canyon, but as the kids get older, we now prefer Artist's Point.

40 days until spring. It is 54 here, loving all of the snow melting.

WishesQueen, we like Kona Cafe and Artist Point. We are going to try Narcoosees and maybe Citrico's this trip.

Angel, good for you for cleaning and cooking. I should be doing the same, but I'm going to the mall to walk instead.

thesupersmartguy,: on extending your stay. You think like me. If I was there now, I would have to extend it until at least April. If I went this time of year, I would have a hard time coming home, don't think I could do it.

Thanks for all the help, but I left out one HUGE bit of info. My DD eats a few small window of food (picky, picky, picky). She's getting better, but its still hard.

We have been to artist point, Citricos and Narcoosees's. She eats steak but thats what she winds up eating EVERY night in those places. So I am trying to find places with at least one other thing for her to choose from.

I chose California Grill because believe it or not, she eats sushi. Whispering Canyon she actually eats the ribs and shrimp. Tutto Italia she eats something similiar to ravioli (she doesn't like pasta either ). The Plaza she eats a mozzerella sandwich???? And of Course Le Cellier a steak. Mama Melrosa and flat bread and the artisan breads (she loves bread). OK, so you see where I am going with this.
