Thanks for the pep talk ladies! Oh, and Mare, GREAT IDEA! But, I started the day with the Basin Bomb...I knew it was going to be a bad one. Now I am wishing I had split that bomb in two...before and after soaks .LOL

I am going out tomorrow morning to finish the tiny stuff left on my list. They are calling for 12-18 inches of snow here tomorrow, so I have to make it quick!

Lisa: Great pictures, thanks for sharing! How did you get photos of Basin? Channing was told no photos.

I have to say, I'm really enjoying my Basin Lemon Sugar Shower Gel and Lemon Sugar Lotion. It smells delish! I think their prices are very reasonable. I can't wait to go shopping again in June!!!

Oh, Channing, Summer Lace didn't have that many "nice" patterns of flip flops to choose from in Nov. I'm guessing there's more of a selection in the summer. They had a lot of wedge flip flops, but I'm a flat flip flop kinda girl

Siobhan Welcome Back!! Glad that you had a good trip for the most part...I'm sure everyone has had that fun of having a child have the complete melt down on vacation...the joys of parenting At least you got some shopping done...

Sheli Its too bad that you didnt get to enjoy visiting with your friend...a bratty kid can really be trying on a friendship Next time get together when her child is in school!!!

Mare I really loved Le Cellier...loved the soup too and I dont like spicy...We had the chocolate moose too yummy!! I'm with you on the not over scheduling things to do... nothing like just spending time at the resort (especially when its the GF)!! I enjoy a little R&R inbetween all the fun...

Maxie I hate to admit it but I lost the spring count down again...

I hope all of you snow bound gals get out soon. It was 72 and rainy here today, I wish I had a little of your snow. You are so lucky, hopefully you will have a white Christmas - but still be able to get out and travel. - Lisa.

Lisa, thank you for the pictures!!!! I was going to ASK you about the Basin pics.....maybe I just encountered some snarky Basin peeps.....when the CMs came down with me they were different and all sweet as sugar. BUT, the CMs told me uh uh...we are SUPPOSED to be able to take pictures ANYWHERE on Disney property...that snarky CM was outa line. I love the pic of your DH and the step sister.

It's snowing here STILL!!! I feel the same, kel....snow snow snow...what EVAH...until Feb. I wil be in a panic if it's snowing like this in Feb.

Mare...I really don't get the Le Cellier hype either. I had the cheese soup and thought it was good. I LOVE Tobasco...Anything with Tobasco...as a matter of fact just had some with dinner, but that stuff wasn't spicy when we were there.....weird. I don't remember what we ordered but it was just so so to good. Not worth the craze...never had been IMO. Glad you had luck shopping!!! Whoohoo for the little people! My kids loved those. We donated a ton to the girls' preschool when they were done with them.

Shel...I hear ya. Most of my friends had little girls when I had Zack. Zack was the beasty one. He was actually a very good little boy but compared to their little girls... Needless to say I lost friends. That's tough when it's your best friend though. Most of my good friends have good kids and we are similar in our parenting Thank God...because that does get sticky.

Maxie, LOL on the sentiment about the crabby adults.

Hmmm.....so who was baking today??? What did ya make?? How did it turn out?

OK...ttyl!! Off the computer to watch an old movie & get a fire going in the fireplace..... I DVRd some old Xmas movie last night....can't remember what it's called but I never saw it before! Oh crud...just realized I have to pick up Lucy from her Xmas party in 1/2 hour...darn...there goes that idea.

Also got a nice little Christmas gift today..VeraB sunglass case...do you have one?.. its very nice...now I need the matching wallet and make up bag!! I dont think its too late to add that to the list...

Chan.......I did some baking today for when we go to DH's parents tomorrow . I have to bake more next week because DH wants some goody trays to take to work on Tuesday and then I'll take stuff to my mom's on Thursday . But today I made Sand Cake (the pudding dessert DS likes), peanut blossom cookies, peanut butter balls, and some greek cookies . It's been a long day as I cleaned this morning and then started right into baking and actually just finished a little bit ago......I'm wiped .

Blue Skies...that happens to ME all the time!!! I get set to do something with the kids and then they get better offers. Have fun baking tomorrow then! Yes, as a matter of fact I bought a Vera soft sunglass case before my October trip! I have the Capri blue..to match a Capri Blue hipster...but I use it all the time. I love Vera.....I sent Vera to somebody for a gift...I hope they love it too. It seems people either really love it or hate it.

Deb....ooh...yumm oh. What are the Greek cookies? Baking always does me in. All that cleaning up afterward...and just being in the kitchen all day...ugh. You made a lot of stuff...I bet you're wiped. We always do pb balls too. My parents received their box of goodies in the mail today. They were very appreciative of getting Xmas cookies. My mom doesn't bake a lot any more as it's just the two of them...and they are leaving for FL Monday. UGH. Not WDW though...they are antiWDW.

Hi everyone!

We are settled in for the night in Savannah, GA.

I wanted to leave at 5am but we are always late and didnt hit the road until 6. Roads were fine and it was still snowing.
so glad we never found a good airfare...heard 600 flight were cancelled.

One you got to south jersey there was nothing and we had good weather until we hit NC which had a lot of rain.

We got stuck somewhere...i forget where....there was an electronic sign which read accident ahead all lanes closed...use HOV

luckily i saw the entrance to the hov lane as i was reading the sign and got right in. We passed so many cars who were stuck in the regular lanes but it caught up to us too...we didnt lose too much ground though. gained a lot of it back going through SC and GA at 75 MPH So not used to that..

We got here around 7:40 ....so we drove 13.5 hours and the navigation says we have 5 hours left for tomorrow.

it feels like 70 outisde and everyone loves it especially coming from a very cold morning in NY.

Kel...I feel the same way...I AM SICK OF SNOW!

Chan..went to Oakbrook on to my mom and it took us over 30 min to get out of the parking lot Lots of deals! Of course Nordstrom was the first stop on the shopping train.

Ok I had to check in and wow a few pages since earlier in the evening......

I have been rehearsing music since after dinner..... ughh! Tomorrow is a big day, I sing in the church musical and there is the hallelujah chorus in the middle but it is not the original??? Who messes with Handle? I get messed up because i KNOW the original by heart so i had to learn it, last min cram session. I also am caroling the next few evening so i needed to run through that music. I really hope my costume is not stinky. I was in a few musicals in hs and my costumes reaked.

Marvel: Glad you made it safely and don't have much more to go. Sometimes things do work out, if you were flying you probably would still be in NY.

I am going to make a cranberry bread and pumpkin bread and that will be the extent of my baking. I used to make cookies, but haven't made any for a couple of years. When DS was little I only worked part time and had more time for baking. Now I work full time and am old and tired.

We are suppposed to get mostly rain today, just along the coast, everyone else is getting snow. That should get rid of some of this snow. Shioban and Kelly are getting lots of snow. I hate winter. 89 days until spring. Some day I am gonna live where it is warm all the time.

BRRRRR!!! It is friggin cold here. (can I say that ) It is -1 and I have no idea what the windshield is but they are cancelling come church services so that is not good.

Shel and Channing- You are cracking me up. I have to agree to talk to Mandy. Thanks goodness someone is close enough to the big guy to put a good word in for us!

Marvel- Glad you are almost there! Have a safe trip.

Siobhan!! Glad you made it back and had a good time. I am worried about how my kids are going to act. I am all excited but they could suck the excitement out most anything so we shall see. They are good girls but my youngest has a mind of her own and my oldest is used to getting her way and LOVES to shop at WDW and thinks she needs just about everything. We are already having the "NO you cannot have something every two minutes"talk.

Well I need to get going. I have to be at church at 9:00 for our Bible Bucks program and the kids get to buy for their parents and we wrap the gifts for them. Very cute. Our Xmas program at church is tonight and then I think we are done with the holiday stuff at home and can concentrate on one thing....Christmas at WDW!!!!!

I did call the GF yesterday and my packages have arrived!!
