What day are you going? We are going probably the 14th or 15th. We are staying at the Gaylord Palms the last 2 nights, so we will be going one of those two days. Maybe we'll see you there.

Ok, I am watching the news...well listening to it from the other room and just heard that we are gonna bail out the big 3 automakers...... Am I the only one that is ticked by that???? We are gonna pay 15 BILLION to help people who scr*ew people every day and over charge BIG time for vehicles that are Cr*p........ We are paying twice ....... You know if it was so bad then WHY are Toyota, Nissan, or Honda not Flying in on jets to beg for money........ Oh that is right because they make cars that are decent and people actually want!

Chan....there is a spray for the UGGS...DD has a pair and we sprayed them ASAP when she bought them. I think they mean they are not snowmobile or ski boots and rain boots...everyone I knows wears them in the winter. Except me..im holding out.

they are teasing us here saying we are getting snow/rain tonight with maybe an inch by the morning. I don't believe them but Im hoping for that blizzard!

My fireplace was delivered yesterday. We had to rearrange some furniture so the fireplace is the focal point of the room but that was easy enough.

I have to say its even nice than i thought and it really warms up the room. Mrs.mike uhhh Marvel... really loves it. She said she loves 'anything warm'. I then made a comment, she told me I was a pig and that was that.

Baby marvel let the dog out the front door this morning. They didnt want to chase her because she will run away from you. So they ran back towards the house and the dog chased them and all is well now. Crazy baby and dog!!

2 weeks from about now i should be hitting North Carolina on the drive down!!

Happy Birthday Walt! I love that we have the same birthday!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! It has been a nice day and i have done very little around here........ my mom always calls me a min after I was officially born so that was nice that yet again she called and told me how much pain she was in just about then......

I put a roast in the crock pot this AM and we are about ot have a yummy dinner that i did nothing to make!

My DH has the same one too! We were there at CR one year on his birthday and they sent tons of stuff to our room, but then that was in the old days!

I hope everyone is doing great. Since we returned in September from our wonderful split stay at CR MKV Atrium and MKV GF RPC it has been really hard to be on the dis! Next trip is not until March!

The 15th....... We are hoping the crowds will be low on a weekday!

LOL...sign me up.....every darn time we are at WDW Test Track is broken!!! LOL....and I think....ya like the GM cars. We are Toyota and Nissan fans. We had a nice Jeep Grand Cherakee...and had AWFUL annoying issues with it - couldn't wait to dump it. We have a very basic Wrangler now though that is doing OK...but it only has like 15K miles on it so far.

Dawn...I need to look for that spray. It's gonna annoy the p*ss out of me if those boots get trashed. I don't have pair either....I have some cute Born Nome furry ones....but I am not into the Ugg craze. I think they're UGGLY.

I will try and get some snow pics up in a bit. I have been running around and then Jojo had two friends over and we were playing tag team on who was home with the kids and who was running....I had to sit and drink my Diet Coke to revitalize myself before running to the grocery store. UGh...time is about up. But it was funny....i had to pick LUcy up at her friend's house and drive thru farm field lands etc...and I kept thinking how beautiful that would look in a photo.....It really is so pretty. In 2 months I won't think so...but it's almost Christmas so it is.

Hi, Fee Fee....haven't seen you in a while. I am glad you had a nice vacation. I know what you mean about it being hard to come on the DIS after....but March is just around the corner. Just a little further than FEBRUARY which is coming up super soon!!!!!!

OK...I need to get myself together and shop!!

LOL...sign me up.....every darn time we are at WDW Test Track is broken!!! LOL....and I think....ya like the GM cars. We are Toyota and Nissan fans. OMG Chan..........We had a Jeep Grand Cherokee .....leased it new in 1999......NEVER AGAIN will I buy another Dodge/Chrylser product (and I'll never lease again ). Although we are GM owners (I drive a Yukon and DH has a GMC 2500 HD extended cab pickup)......never again in my life will I own another Chrylser product....that one and only purchase turned me off for good!!!! The Grand Cherokee we had was NOTHING BUT TROUBLE . I had that thing in the shop every other week.....and that's no joke . I only had the thing maybe 6 months and took it in........they had to replace the rotors.......AT 6 MONTHS . After awhile it got old and every time I went to the dealer NOBODY would help me......they all acted busy because they didn't want to deal with me . It got to the point that they didn't even have to ask me my name, address...NOTHING.....they just pulled it up on the computer.....that is whenever the poor sap that had to deal with the wrath of the crazy yelling Jeep lady finally acknowledged me standing at the counter . I was so happy when our lease ended and we were able to give it right back!!!!! That's when I bought my new Yukon......it just hit 60K miles and (knock on wood).....NOTHING has gone wrong with it for over 6 years . It's a gas hog but it's been paid for and it still looks like new.....so I'm happy . Hopefully it has alot of life left . It's depressing because for what they charge for vehicles anymore, you'd think they'd be reliable......for a little while atleast .

The snow here is finally starting to look pretty . Earlier it was just blowing and looked nasty......but now it's snowing steadily and is getting that pretty Christmas-y look .

Hi everyone!

We're back. We had a horrible time at the BWI! They screwed up so many things!! Very LONG STORY!! We will never stay anywhere but the GF! It was so bad I sent a seven-page complaint letter to Allen Weiss, President of WDW Parks and Resort Operations, with copies to the GM of BWI and GM of GF (had to compare our fabulous GF vs. horrible BWI). Thanks Chan for helping me

I finally unpacked our three suitcases. Jet Blue will only allow one suitcase per person. DH would kill me if I had anymore! In June we only brought 2 large cases, I needed to bring three this time due to the warm/cold weather.

I'm so excited DH just called from the country house (had to check on things) and he's staying the night with the boys! My first time away from my little munchkin (DS1) I hope he's okay. But I'm so excited to have a night to myself!!

I'm off to fold 4 loads of laundry and catch up on my Housewives of the OC and Top Chef.

I'll be back later this evening. I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself!! Maybe a bath with my Basin Bath Bombs!!

I am taking a cookie making break......we have dough for 3 types in the fridge. I was going to make fudge...but my candy thermometer is missing! So...we are making some peanut butter balls instead.....fudge tomorrow.

My friend Heidi from AZ is coming tomorrow afternoon & probably staying over. I bet she loves this weather. She grew up here so she's used to it and misses it oddly enough. She is not thrilled with AZ at all. Her parents and mine play golf together. We have been friends since 4th grade!! (32 years ago!!! ) I remember meeting her on the climber at recess and even what she was wearing!!!!! I thought it was such a cute outfit. OMG... It's funny. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I ordered the spray for the Uggs from Zappos.....I am glad i asked because they would have been trashed in a week.

Mare have a nice quiet ME night. I LOVE THOSE!!! They are so rare. Wow...one bag per person on Jet Blue....crap. If we go to DL in March I'd fly them...maybe not. We might not go anyway....but one bag? It;s easier to unpack though......but still....geesh....

Wow...one bag per person on Jet Blue....crap. If we go to DL in March I'd fly them...maybe not. We might not go anyway....but one bag? It;s easier to unpack though......but still....geesh....

I just realized in June we'll have to purchase the munchkin his own seat since he'll be 2 years old. I can now bring another suitcase! Not that we really need four suitcases in June, with the warm weather I can manage with two large ones, but I'm just happy to know if I needed it, I can bring it.

I'm thinking of buying a carry on bag. We always come home with "breakable" stuff like this trip we had some ornaments, cookies, etc... I had two WDW tote bags. One with our stuff and one with our coats. It was sort of cumbersome. I'm thinking it would be easier to manage with a carry on piece of luggage that we could roll thru the airport and fit in the overhead.

I checked Jet Blue's website and it says their carry on regulation size is 18 inches. How is this possible when the regulation size carry on is 21 inches? I've never seen them inspect people's carry on luggage size, but my luck they would check mine if it didn't meet their requirements.

We've never traveled with a carry on suitcase before. Do they inspect it before you board the plane? Is someone there with a ruler?

Mrs Marvel went with her friend while i took the kids to the party and she met us there before they cut the birthday cake. She didnt get to see the whole show but she said it was great great great!!

One of the last things i need to do to get ready is buy some clothes! I hate buying clothes and usually wear things until they are worn out....and believe me..they are worn out.

Update!!! We have snow...i repeat...there is snow in NY!!!

We had a great time last night in Newport. DS's DGF sings in a chorus and they sang at the Breakers. For those of you not familiar with The Breakers, it is one of the mansions in Newport. It was the summer home of the Vanderbilt's. I can not discribe how huge this place is. It took 2000 people 2 years too build it. It was all decorated for Christmas. It certainly was a different life style back then. Very formal.

OK, now I have everybody's cold. I have 4 days to get over it.

goofygal: Sorry you had issues at the BWI. Please share. I love the look of the new rooms and we were actually booked there for next spring until I switched to the GF.

I love the Osborne lights & the Epcot Xmas decorations. That is funny about your husband. I totally pack for mine. I pack for everybody but Zack. And...funny thing is...he always has the lightest luggage. Hmmm.....maybe I could get HIM to pack for US.

Thanks, I think we will really like being able to walk to DHS and Epcot. We spend more time in the parks on our December trips, so that will be very conventient. We are not SPG, so will not be staying on points, but we did get a good rate.

That's what we were thinking also. I am going to check out the website for tickets. They are discounted if you buy them online, but am only buying them if you don't have to go a specific day. Want to leave the option open to go Sunday if that fits in better with our plans.
ETA Just bought tickets. We will be going on the 15th. It is a lot cheaper to go on a weekday, so that made it easier to decide.

Deb: How was DS's homecoming?

Marvel: Hope you get your snow, just don't send any up here. We are supposed to get snow today too, but right now is a rain snow mix. We live on the coast so that keeps the snow totals down.

Marvel- You made me very nervous when I read your post. I have not wrapped any gifts to mail out yet. Actually I do not even know what I have or where it is all at. I am such a slacker when it is actually time to start preparing for a trip. Hope you guys are all feeling well! Any ideas on the weather forecast for our trip??

Deb- How was the Homecoming? We are from a small school also so we have never had a Homecoming during football season. It is always in the winter but something I looked forward to all year! Those were the days!

I have had a FREAKY week. I gave my deposition on Tuesday and on Wednesday I had a meeting and gave a presentation which went ok. On the way home a truck spinned out of control onto the other side of the interstate almost getting hit by ongoing traffic. It ended up in the median area. I got out of my car and it was a little boy about 4 and his grandpa. The little boy was scared and crying but was fine. The grandpa was not so well. Very scary stuff!

Then on Thursday I was on the phone with my boss when my emails starting coming from people I work with asking if I was ok. I have a nurse case manager that helps me on files and she got a very wierd call from a doctor's office checking on a bill. He called her three times asking for my phone number. On the last call he told her that a man answered my phone sobbing and said that I was dead. Totally CRAZY stuff. My nurse was frantic. Everyone was trying to call me but I was on the phone with my boss for about an hour so my phone was busy and no one could get in touch with me. Anyway my boss got in touch with the caller and he works for a company out of state. My boss also spoke with his supervisor and demanded a written apology or he was contacting the police. So far we have received nothing. Not really sure why this guy said it but it freaked me out for a little while. People are CRAZY. Everyone who works for our company works from their homes. We are in the insurance business so we tend to make people mad on occassion. It is very scary these days with google earth and the info you can find on the internet.

Update on the tree. I did not order from WDW florist. I got a tree from Walmart (4 ft white tree) and orderd a bunch of ornaments from Disney shopping and got each of us personalized ones also. I did get one for our 10 year Anniversary so we could always remember the trip. I think the girls will enjoy decorating it when we get there. Can I just check this tree with my luggage? We get two bags a piece on SW...correct??

Sorry so long. I have not been on much lately! Kids have Xmas program practice at church this afternoon so I am hoping to get some wrapping done!
