Hey Dawn!!!

I am hearing Asia's "Its the Final Countdown!" right now for you!!!

DH ALWAYS gets up and shops on Black Friday. He hates shoping the other 364 days of the year, but loves that one I will be in my bed under my blankies dreaming of how happy I am to be done with my shopping!

I have no desire to see Bolt either but DS does (sort of) I might let the IL's take him- they got stuck seeing Wall-E with him too!

I am off for DWTS and The Biggest Loser!

Asia rocks....not so sure about this Europe group....I don't know anything else they do.

Asia is "The Heat of the Moment'....and "The Smile has left Your Eyes".....And so much more.


OMG...you Friday shoppers are crazy. I will be in my pjs MAYBE doing online shopping....maybe not...but NOT in the stores.

Deb...have fun at Woodfield. I hate going there any time...but Friday....EEEK!!!!

The girls are decorating their cookies....I am here typing....It has taken me like 10 minutes to get this out...between fussing about sprinkles...and room on the wax paper...and then a bottle of water spilled....

PALEASE ....I will give somebody mega bucks to put my stuff in a GF ROOM!!! That tipping thread is obnoxious!!!!!

My inlaws used to come for 2 weeks and stay here with us. TORTURE...Torture.....this summer my MIL wanted to come for THREE!!!! I am so ashamed to say I was RELIEVED she needed surgery so she couldn't come. Is that hateful or what? *sorry*....maybe I wll wind up editing this later..... Well...I left that stuff...I took out even worse....LOL

I caved and got all my bathrooms cleaned . Now to vacuum and do a little dusting tomorrow....along with some . It never ends .


Traci......Good luck with your "stay for 5 nights" visitors . You better get going on those cocktails .


Dawn.....I know....Woodfield on Friday......it sounds crazy . We started going up there the day after Thanksgiving in 1993 and it just became a tradition . I meet everyone at my mom's and we head out around 8:00 a.m. and are at Woodfield by about 8:45.....so not a bad drive at all . Of course when that alarm goes off at 6:00 a.m. I ask myself WHY do I do this ....but then once I get up and get moving it's not bad . It's always a good time and we LOVE Maggiano's so that's a nice perk . Plus DH and DS always look forward to me bringing home dinner .


Maxie.......I shop on the Friday after Thanksgiving....but NOT at 4 a.m. . I'm with you.....only the airport warrants getting up and out the door at that hour .


Chan........I know those songs by Asia . But boy that makes me feel old .

Good luck with the online shopping Friday. I have some online stuff to do.....if I don't get to it tomorrow, my goal is to get it done by the weekend . I'm slowly getting into the groove to get some shopping done so I'm not doing the last minute right before Christmas bit .

Heat of the moment was my 8th grade graduation song. I love that song...boy how time has flown....

opps i guess i have been drinking too much...that wasnt the song... it was Only Time Will Tell.... and thinking of the lyrics i can't see how we picked that for our song... lol


More editing.... then when we had our dance te Dj never played this song because no one told him it was our song and he didnt have a copy of it....

Slightly OT, but did everyone know that today is one of the biggest bar nights of the year??? DH goes out every year but this year. He is coming home early and we are hitting one of our favorite local watering holes for lunch before DS comes home from school. They have a grilled chicken panini to die for!!!!!! (And Coors Light on Tap ) So begins my 3 day reprieve of low carb eating!! I am taking off today, Thanksgiving (I have to have pumpkin pie!!) and Friday since its my birthday (No dieting allowed on a birthday!!!)

I hope everyone has a wonderful Turkey day!!!

Deb, yea for getting the bathrooms cleaned. That is my most hated job. I told DF one day, "wouldn't those clear glass shower doors look nice". Oh how I hate them now! They look great right after I spend hours getting water spots off of them but other than that

Maxie, I also only get up that early for the airport. We usually take a flight that leaves at 6:45, meaning we have to be up no later than 3:00

Kristen, you make me feel like such a slacker. The only gift I have purchased is DFs, which he opened when it came in the mail and spoiled . It was supposed to be a combo wedding/x-mas gift but he ruined that. Are you baking anything neato for Thanksgiving?

Marvel, I think Maxie's (I think it was Maxie ) description of "snow" is far more realistic than yours

Kristin.....my multiquotes hardly ever work for me either . I agree about the mall...I think living farther away is the draw.....I wouldn't go to our mall here for anything the day after Thanksgiving .....but going somewhere I don't go often doesn't seem so bad .

How nice you and DH going out to lunch .....have fun . And you're right........NO DIETING ALLOWED on Thanksgiving or birthdays . BTW.....have a great day Friday .
