Hey Traci :). Sounds like your first Thanksgiving dinner is going to be great :thumbsup2. Friends of ours deep fried a turkey last year and I have to say it was quite good :goodvibes. I wasn't sure how it would be since I had never had a turkey that was deep fried......but it turned out very tender and juicy.....much more so than from the oven .

How funny that you're already getting outfits for the kiddos for a trip in the spring . I guess you have to start sometime and no better time than that present as it's never too early to plan for Disney :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Hey all!
DS had a fiest at school today! It was very cute! And then we went to get his haircut...It looks so good! I always forget how much I love it after it is cut! :goodvibes He is full of **** and vinegar so I had to clean him up and at least make him appear good!

I am learning to knit! :rotfl2: I figured it might keep me occupied and home! :rotfl: We shall see....It might be good for the plane, too! Anyone take knitting needles on a plane with problems???

Oh well..today is a Thursday to me so I have to work tonight! It is terrible weather with wind driven rain..I just dont feel like going anywhere!

S- DS is having his feast tomorrow (and we are doing the haircut thing too after school tomorrow!!!)

RE: the knitting needles. I would bet that is going to be a problem. I would ask the CLOTs on the transportation board about that one (FYI: that is THEIR word, not mine!!!)

Do you believe my DS doesnt have any school tomorrow! :confused3 Kinda mad about that! :rotfl:

I am going to check the TSA website...I should know this stuff :rolleyes1

Hey are we going to meet? I forget what day you are leaving? I arrive the 13th!

Love this from TSA website...

Knitting needles are permitted in your carry-on baggage or checked baggage.
But....

In case a Security Officer does not allow your knitting tools through security it is recommended that you carry a self addressed envelope so that you can mail your tools back to yourself as opposed to surrendering them at the security check point.

:rotfl: That is nice and clear, huh!:rolleyes1

I have been trying to get everything ready for Thanksgiving...ironing the linens...getting the china ready (I love this as we only use it a few times a year)...every thing will look great for about 5 minutes:rotfl:

Traci I have heard that the deep fried turkey is delicious...enjoy! Mine will be in the oven baking for hours...:headache:

Channing Hope that Jo is feeling better...no fun being sick during the holidays...I think disney is a better place to be for the holiday too...

Maxie Where are you??-hope today was better:)

Good afternoon everyone from rainy NY...thats right RAIN not snow!

Boss is mad at us today because consumer affairs came into the store and a found a few items past expiration dates. Opps.. big fine.

Forgot to add...... Chan~ I can't wait to see Bedtime Stories! I am really hoping it is good! I am really suprised by Adam Sandler in a Disney movie...... HE is funny so i am glad he is doing something the kids can enjoy too! That is gonna be the movie we see in the theaters this year (we always do one in the summer and one at Christmas, any more and we would be broke! :rotfl: )

popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::
our family at the theaters

I was very curious when i heard Adam Sandler was doing a disney movie... i don't know anything about it yet.
You go twice a year!! don't tell my kids... I hate spending $10 a ticket and then 40 bucks on snacks....its crazy!!

I want to see Bolt too! DF said NO because I drug him to see WallE and we both thought it was not so great. I said bolt has hamsters and doggies but he didn't care. I will work on him, though...

And the last one i took them too was WallE and i did not enjoy it all.
But cartoon doggies are always fun....I want to see that.

We leave on the 14th.

How long are you there for? We check in the next sunday

Marvel Snow:scared1: think shoveling...ice...:headache:
Your trip is right around the bend too!! What a nice way to start the holidays:santa:

DH is heading out bright and early on Black Friday to get FIL's gift. After that I AM DONE!!!! I have never, ever been done this early!! We should travel every year at this time so I can be so organized!! :rotfl:

You meant to say 'Snow...think snow bound in the home, having hot chocolate by the front window watching the winter wonderland while the kids all nap and the dog lays at my feet and the cat is curled into a ball on the ledge and the wife is sneaking alcohol into my cup :rotfl: sorry another long day here...

We go home on the 14th. We arrive next Friday.

What are you trying to say? I don't know how to read posts? Is that it? huh? huh ? :)

It's more like put on boots, heavy coat, gloves, and make way to car that is covered in 2 feet of snow. Clean off car, get wet, change clothes, get stuck in driveway. Go to work slipping and sliding. Work, leave work, clean off car again. Drive home and get stuck in driveway again.:rotfl2: I'll take the rain and warm any day.

Kristin: WTG on the wrapping and weight loss.:thumbsup2

Deb: Glad you are feeling better.

Traci: WTG on the turkey.:thumbsup2 Now that's how you make
Thanksgiving dinner.:lmao:

BlueSkies: I was at work all day, no time for Dissing at work. Only a half day tomorrow, then I'm off until Tuesday. :yay:

Hello all!:goodvibes

Kristin omg...I haven't even bought anything for anybody except Jojo because she is FUN to buy for.:goodvibes Well..way to go....you can vacation in less stress knowing it's all done.

M&P might have been hittin' the bottle again......:rotfl2: His reading is slurred.

THanks for all the well wishes on Jojo...well actually she sounds super sick and gets pooped out easily but she was out playing with the neighbor kids all day! She now feels bleh. Of course....and I will be sitting on the sofa watching Hannah MOntana and rubbing her feet again later.:rotfl: I think it's just a nasty cold and she gets run down easily from it.

We are going to decorate our cookies tonight....if both girls are up for it. They were supposed to be the ones for hanging on the Xmas tree...but they want to frost them and decorate them so I will do my own batch for the tree...and decorate them how I want.;) That is my bad over the holidays...I like everything PERFECT and I am too tough on my kids....but I want it MY way.:rotfl: (the right and perfect way:rotfl: )

So...anyway...talk to ya all later! Is it February yet? I will happily tip anybody MEGA BUCKS to put my stuff in a Grand Floridian room. LOL....I cannot believe that nonsensical tipping thread is still going on strong!!!! OMG....give the bell service guys a tip and move on.......
