Rock of Love-I have watched this a few times by default because the kids had it on.... is all I can say...some of the shows that are on lately... They just cant be for real

Thinking about the Christmas decorating now...I wonder if all the hotels are decorated for Christmas yet... and those lights on the castle....there is no more beautiful time at WDW than this season....

Maxie, that is funny about how she tattletales on daddy for forgetting the cookie. I don't know what to do about that potty training situation. Bribes just always worked wonders for me. Is she mad at you about something? Maybe she is letting you know???

I don't think she was mad at me, she is a very spoiled and pampered pooch. She knew I was mad at her and she kept snuggling and kissing me the rest of the day, and also asked to go out. She is just so sweet you can't stay mad at her for long. She really is the best dog, except for this one little thing. Just noticed your new pics of Tatum. She is a beauty. Looks like a handful to groom though. Looks like it would take her a long time to dry after she gets out of the pool. Guess you have a pampered pooch too.

Maxie, my dog is 3.5 and still will leave a poop on the floor from time to time. She goes to the door, scratches, but if no one is home she will go to her favorite spot in the family room and leave a present for us. It drives me CRAZY!!!! Treats didn't work for us either. Neither did cage training. She has no qualms at all about messing her cage- she was a "marker" from the beginning! *Sigh*

We keep hoping she will outgrow this. She never goes in her crate though. We also have those pee pads for training. She uses them once in a while, probably by accident, I put them in her spots.

Maxie......Glad to hear your day is starting to look better . Good luck with the training . I'm at a loss as to what you can do . We never had any trouble training Hunter . Of course I thought he'd NEVER get trained but I had never had a dog before either so I was constantly on him about going out . Any sign whatsoever of him needing to go out and I had him out the door . But he was also just a 7 week old pup .


BlueSkies......Just thinking about Disney during the holidays makes me want to be there . I guess I'll just have to get my December '09 trip booked asap so I have next December to look forward to . I agree about Disney being absolutely beautiful this time of year .

Hey, all.....sitting here on the sofa with a sick Jojo. She is just rundown & can't get rid of her nasty cold.

I was posting some pics on the Faq for Triplefigs...and looking at my GF Xmas pics....I WANNA GO BACK for another Christmas stay!!!! Jojo doesn't. She said we need to have Vonnie send us some sugar animals to use on OUR gingerbread house. LOL...whatever. Kids......

omg ..I was reading that tipping thread....Holy Cow. All I have to contribute to that is....YOU KNOW HOW MUCH LUGGAGE I BRING?!?!?!?! Give me a break..these people moaning about tipping for their 4 and 5 bags...how about 13? geesh. The limo company owner knows me & my habits. That's bad...I have a notorious rep......4 bags...gmab.

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm an early bird today well except for Kelly who is always the early bird...

Kelly I bet youve done errands laundry etc already...and here I sit just thinking about what I'd like to get done today

What I'd really like to be doing is sitting in a cabana at the GF thinking about where I'd like to be eating dinner....Disney and food always on my mind

Channing that gingerbread house looks incredible!! Did you eat any of it...was it as good as it looks? As far as luggage goes (13 Pieces ) with all of the airlines charging if you bring anything along now(what are we supposed to bring NO luggage along...)that could get mighty costly

It is rainy and cold today...let me just say AGAIN I hate the cold...not crazy about rain either...

Maxie Hope today is a grand one to make up for yesterday...

Well I'd better be off to get some stuff done...take out the china get ready for turkey day...

Chan......Sorry Jojo is sick . I hope she starts to feel better soon . Last year DS got sick right before Thanksgiving . He missed school those 3 days but was feeling better Thanksgiving Day due to an antibotic from the doc . It's just that time of year for being sick . I hope she kicks it soon and she can enjoy her Thanksgiving break .


BlueSkies.......Now that's a nice thought......sitting in a GF cabana . It won't be long until June is here and we're all getting ready to go . Although with this weather I'm ready NOW . It's not too bitterly cold today but it's still cold.......but atleast the sun is shining and it's not nasty . Hopefully the weather will clear up by you and not be so nasty .


I really have to start thinking about Christmas shopping . I think today I'm going to run to the grocery store because I know tomorrow is going to be more of a mad house than today . I'm not having Thanksgiving dinner but there are things I need so I figured today would be the better day to go . Maybe next week I'll get my butt in gear and get some Christmas shopping done .

Good morning.

Deb...thanks....she is still sleeping...which is weird. I think she is just worn out and that's why she can't shake this thing. She just has a lot going on and she doesn't like to miss the fun.

My luggage situation is funny. The limo driver always asks in a SARCASTIC WAY how long are you staying? BUt he knows me so it's not nasty....but I am an overpacker. Hate to be caught unawares....must bring it all. Usually we have 2 bags per person and that's fine with SWA ....but then laptops and carryons....and those count too. I think once on the luggage thingy the guy counted 21 items. My husband just flew American for business and they charged $15 for his one checked bag.

Oh...sitting in a GF cabana...nice....I bet one year ago today I was. I was sick though on that trip. I remember shivering and falling asleep on a lounge chair. BUt it felt good....listening to the waterfall and the kids having fun and just passing out.

I hope we can go next Thanksgiving. Jo is determined we won't go for Christmas anytime soon. In a couple years......

Well....I am home with kids today. Probably going to make more cookies. We have to decorate the ones we made yesteray..

Good Morning All!

DS is off to school and I am about to head in the shower so I can get back to wrapping. I am determined to at least have all the Santa presents done today, but hopefully EVERYTHING will be done!!

(I am almost ashamed to admit that is how much I gained since that infamous day at the Cheesecake Factory back in July ) But my skinny summer clothes fit again, just in time for the trip!!! Now I need to be a really good girl over Thanksgiving

Chan......I hope Jo bounces back quick so you all can have a nice holiday . It's never fun having sick kids but it always seems worse when it's over a holiday . My two have school through tomorrow and then they're off Thursday and Friday . I'm going to hit the grocery store this afternoon and then spend tomorrow morning cleaning and then get some baking done tomorrow afternoon . Then I can veg tomorrow evening ......especially since we'll probably order dinner out since I'll be so busy during the day.....any excuse not to cook and make a mess .

I would love to spend Christmas at Disney . The one thing that is stopping me from it is my mom and dad. My dad would be so hurt if we were gone over Christmas Day....he wouldn't dare say anything to us if we did go.....but I would know how he felt . And he's not one to want to be on vacation over the holidays so there's not much chance of getting the whole family to go . But maybe one of these years we'll do it .

It's kind of quiet here today . Everyone must be busy getting ready for Thursday .

Channing, I'm very worried about my luggage situation. There are 4 adults traveling in an extended Ford Explorer. We will lay the 3rd row down and pile everything in. I figure each person gets 1 big suitcase and then a small duffle bag or tolietries bag. We will also have our laptop (so I can post pictures of course) and all of the wireless keyboards, mouse, all that good stuff. Then there is the camera bag and all of it's different sizes lenses and flashes. My suitcase my weigh @ 100 pounds. I may have to roll everything as tight as I can, because I'm like you and I always overpack. I figure, who really needs to see out of the back window, someone can help me if I change lanes - I ususally like to go fast in the left lane anyway. We will see, we start our drive down next Saturday!!! - Lisa

Lisa....LOL...well....good luck. Every trip I say I am NOT going to overpack. It makes coming home and UNpacking so much worse.....ugh...I do it every time though. It never goes back in the same way after it's been tossed around and messed with so I wound up shipping a ton of stuff home this trip....that worked out nicely.

The sun is shining and I took Tater for a walk....Jojo is playing with the neighbors...and Lucy is reading. NOboyd wants to see HSM3 or Bolt except ME!! I think they just want to veg and hang out.

It is dreary here....... i should be in the shower but i got lured over here! I am trying to decide between the Gaylord or a Disney hotel......... EMH or the awesome atrium's and being close to ICE! Decisions descisions

I did it!!!!!!!!!!! Everything is wrapped!!! (And a lot quicker than yesterday too ) Of course DH still needs to actually buy something for his parents so that isn't wrapped but the rest is done!!!!!!!!!!!

AND, I got my package from Kel today with all my trip docs, luggage tags, DME etc. I LOVE MICKEY MAIL!!!!!!

Forgot to add...... Chan~ I can't wait to see Bedtime Stories! I am really hoping it is good! I am really suprised by Adam Sandler in a Disney movie...... HE is funny so i am glad he is doing something the kids can enjoy too! That is gonna be the movie we see in the theaters this year (we always do one in the summer and one at Christmas, any more and we would be broke! )

Afternoon gals

Went to the grocery store this afternoon and I'm glad I did . It was a zoo today so I can only imagine how it's going to be tomorrow . I will be home all day tomorrow cleaning and doing some baking .


Chan.....I am feeling better....thanks . I don't have a headache and all the stuffiness went away.....but now my back is hurting . I drove DH's truck yesterday and I must have twisted my back somehow getting in or out of it . His truck sits up pretty high and he doesn't have running boards on it so I have to almost jump up in it and I think I kinked my back . So other than that I'm A-OK ........oh the joys of getting old .


Kristin......WTG on the wrapping . Now it's just a matter of these next 10 days to come and go and you'll be on your way . How exciting .


Mandy......That's alot of popcorn . Good luck deciding on a hotel . The Gaylord looks like a beautiful hotel .

I have been busy getting some cute outfits for my kids lined up for our trip in 5 months. I need something to pass the time until our trip back to the GF...RPC...with 3 nights free...

I got all the fixins for dinner. Taking the bird to a local bbq place and they are going to deep fry that sucker. Then on Thanksgiving I will warm it. Yummy and moist and everyone will think I'm the cats meow for cooking such a delicious turkey
