Today we are off from school...Veterans Day. Last night we had the last of our P/T conferences 25 conferences...WHEW! glad thats over

Going to run some errands....then hopefully catch up on my shows...My DVR is almost full

Dawn......Enjoy your day off . I agree about our winters......there never seems to be any more spring/fall weather......it goes from winter to summer then back to winter with no in between . And even our summers aren't as long/hot as they used to be .


steffali......You have hunters too???? DH and one of my DSs LOVE to hunt . Thanksgiving weekend is a big weekend for that.....but that's ok with me because that weekend is my big shopping weekend .


Traci.......I'm not sure which one I'd pick . The castle sounds neat but then again it would kinda freak me out being the ONLY one in there . But steffali has a point.....the castle is something money can't buy.....but RPC will always be there .


Chan......I got that SWA email......and it figures.......we cancelled our December trip and we could have gone for $68 each way .....but that's my luck . Have you gotten your return for February ?

OK girls....I have to say I also like the sensual amber bath and body works stuff.... DH likes it and it is the sent we have in our wallflower in our room. With so MANY littles ones we try to keep our room our sanctuary and totally child free and somehow that smell makes me think adult things...... that sounds bad.....i don't mean that i mean it makes me feel like i am in a adult only area..... ok I am gonna stop!

Sorry I have been MIA, but I have been Christmas shopping. All I have left is to buy my Dad his Heineken Kegerator (hoping LNT will bring it down to 30% off in their going out of business sale) and get something for my IL's We never know what to do for them. They checked into the GF yesterday for Super Soap Weekend and won't be back until next week. (ah, the silence )

I am pulling out all the Christmas decs on Friday. DH thinks its too early, but too bad. Since when does he get his way anyway!

Yes I have hunters, this year it starts earlier. My DH and his brothers and father have a cabin with 110 acres they hunt on I have never been there nor do I think I want to... but I send him with a meal and dessert for everyone so they have energy to go and kill poor bambi

Hey Kristin ......Good for you for getting your shopping done . Of course I'd be more excited to get my shopping done if I was about to leave for Disney too . Which, BTW, is how many more days for you ??? I was SOOOO tempted to start getting decorations our this past weekend but I just couldn't bring myself to do it with having a few fall/Thanksgiving type things still out . But if I don't cave and do it this weekend, it will definitely be the following one .


steffali.........I have no desire to have anything to do with hunting . I just don't see the appeal to getting up at 3:00 a.m. to go sit in a field or on a tree stand to hunt deer or geese/ducks ......NOT my idea of fun.....I stay tucked in bed warm and comfy . But how nice your DH and the others have so much land to hunt .

OOOH...that sounds interesting!! I was there over the weekend and they had those MEGA MARGARITA MAKERS!!!! They wre still like $300....I was NOT impressed with their "Going out of business sale" Bring on the DEALS!!!! I can't ask for a $300 margarita maker for Christmas.....I need a new camera. But personally.....I'd rather have the margarita maker. That's great you're getting your shopping done! AND it kills time til your trip. EXCITING!

I got my hair colored. AND.....I said...where does 6 wks bring me...and it's dec 23....and then I said...hmmmm.....well...I really need it done the first week in Feb...and so I am good....FEB 3 is 12 weeks!!! yaya!!!!

And No...Deb...I didn't buy my return flight. I have a one way ticket. I can't seem to make myself purchase the return to Chicago......I seriously can't do it. I am trying......I almost hit the button this morning....but I CAN"T!!!!!! If I could buy my Newfie girl a seat on the flight....I'd just say forget it all and stay down there with her for good. LOL ...maybe Dawn will share a row with me and Tatum.....??? Hmmmm...it's a thought. My kids are self sufficient enough. haha

Did anybody buy a return flight??? I don't think they did......

I went to LNT over on Monday and I agree it was not that good. They have stuff for 20% off, that use to be what you would get off if you had a coupon so where is the big savings???

I just noticed the time and DSs will be home in half an hour.......and I haven't done much of anything today . But this weather is so nasty that it bums me out . I did do a couple loads of .....so that's something I guess .

Channing- You crack me up. I do the same thing about my hair. My appt is tomorrow and I already made the next appt before my trip for Dec 17 and we leave 12/23!WOOHOO. (plus eyebrow wax and pedicure!) It makes the trip seem so much closer when you get to do those little things.

K- Good job on your shopping! I am still buying for the kids. I though WDW was supposed to be part of their gift but I cannot elp myself. I need to get started on the others for sure.

Off to the gym! I feel like I live in that place sometimes.

Had a good day! Took the car out! Fun and big to drive! I have always liked big cars! or whatever it is, SUV! DH drove me around for a bit and then I said, hey there's Target! Did some shopping there and had a huge clean trunk to put the crap into....I didn't look at the sweatshirts....I figured that was pushing it with DH!

K I was wondering where you where! Good for you on the shopping! Our LnT's is almost completely wiped out! They started the sale a while ago! I went in for some K cups and everything was in huge piles and people were sifting through it like there was going to be a designer purse at the bottom.... No thanks!!! Hope you guys have better luck!

Cha Cha I haven't bought the return flight yet! I still cant decide what to do! Never leaving sounds good!

How fun driving your new SUV . Isn't it great having all that room in the back???? I usually have to take my 3rd row seats out when I go shopping because I'm not very disciplined to stop buying . Have fun with your new truck .
