Hi, all!!

Traci that is creepy. I can handle bugs mostly but SNAKES!!!!!! I hope you get a handle on the problem and get them GONE!!! At least they aren't aggressive. Hey....word is you leave soon?? Are you packed?? I haven't started and my parents are here til tomorrow evening....and with them here the girls are NOT interested in taking time to figure out what they want to pack. It's tough because it looks like it's gonna be HOT and we kind of put away a lot of their super warm weather clothes.....I am not sure what to bring. It looks like we won't need anything heavier than jean jackets? I was thinking polar fleece, but it didn't look like that from the accuweather forecast I saw the other night....I better keep checking. I am TRYING not to pack like a crazy nut this time....I hate the mess and since we are coming home right before Halloween and the kids want a Halloween party...I will feel way overwhelmed trying to unpack and plan & shop for a party.

Deb! Omg...I am getting ready. I have to make a list today. I am also having such cold feet. I woke up at 5 am. My worst nightmare is that somebody gets the stomach flu and passes it around and maybe we cna't fly home as scheduled....what do I do?!?!?!? I am such a worry wart...but I read a thread yesterday about some hideous stomach bug going around. Crreeeeps me out. We;d be stuck in teh room....nothing to eat or drink..have to order room service constantly...my kids would be either sick or bored. I almost thought NO I CANNOT GO! This morning..... I am panicking. DH just shakes his head.

OK..I typed a novel. A Gothic one, I know. *sorry*

I'll be back!! It IS beautiful out today!! It's unreal!

Chan.....I go through the SAME thing every trip . I'm fine until about 2 weeks before we are to leave.....then I start thinking all sorts of ridiculous things as to why we shouldn't go . But I always chalk it up to all the anxiety and excitement of our trip finally being here.......so try not to worry or second guess yourself......you and the girls are going to have a GREAT time ....and nobody will get sick . You're probably right not needing a heavier jacket.....it's been unseasonably warm here and when that happens, it's usually quite a bit warmer down there . I'd forego the fleece and take just jean jackets .

Hey everyone
If I had hornets in the house I wouldnt be in my house.
Today is football and cooking day. I made muffins, brownies are next, a pork roast and have a home made sauce on the oven.

I keep forgetting it wont be freezing...how nice it will be to walk around without hats and gloves

18 today. There are about 4 buzzing around I havan't been able to swat yet.
I smack those suckers pretty hard. You can see in this pic that someone is missing a leg or two

These bad boys are big and meaty too. I swear I freaking hate them.

My son just asked momma why aren't you flushing them. I said I have to show my disney-lovin friends first....

Traci.......all I can say is . I agree with Kelly......if those things were in my house, I WOULDN'T be . You're one brave trooper cuz there is NO WAY NO HOW I would be able to stay in my house with those things flying around . I'd be at the neighbors, a hotel or anywhere they weren't .


Kelly.......Sounds like you've been busy today baking and cooking .

Good afternoon everyone. The Red Sox lost last night so I am in mourning, we'll get them tomorrow. Sorry Mandy.
Traci Each one of them would bite my DS. They will crawl up my arm or leg and not bite me, but if he is within 10 miles of a hornet, wasp, or bee he will get bit multiple times. I am a mosquito magnet.

Chan: I don't worry about not getting home, I just worry about getting there. I would not mind if I was forced to stay a couple of days or months longer. Did I ever mention that I hate winter?

I got my ears pierced today. I had them done almost 40 years ago and one ear closed up. I don't wear earrings often, but after such a long time you wouldn't expect that to happen. They had some cute Mickey earrings, but I couldn't get those, you had to pick special packaged ones. They weren't that picky 40 years ago, and my ears didn't fall off. Maybe I'll get them later. I have to wear these for 4 weeks before I can change them.

One ear hurt a little, but the other one didn't hurt at all. There was a 1yo getting her ears pierced before me and she didn't cry so I had to behave myself. 12 days Hope your waspies have gone to sleep for the night.

Hey everyone!

Well I dont have any excuse for not being around much. I am still trying to get into the new routine with DH's work and school and to be honest it is not going as smooth as I thought. For years I wanted him on first shift but now that he is I want second shift back. Its an adjustment but nothing is the same anymore. You all know how early I went to bed before but now it is worse! I am lucky if I make it up til 9:30! LOL but true!
I miss talking with everyone! I have to just get back to the things I love and the Dis is one of them!

We had to cancel our Nov trip and I changed my flights to right before Christmas. I cant decide where to stay and I am going crazy. GF only has GV available. Will I be okay? I say yes, DH says no! LOL He loves that coffee machine in the lounge! The only CL available is BC...What do you think?? BC CL or GF GV?

Chan...I feel like you just got back from your summer trip! I cant believe your Halloween trip is here!!! Have a great time!

Dawn..I have been thinking about you and your teaching test! I am glad that is over for you!

Just got all the kiddies to bed and I had to pop on to catch up before I veg!!

Ok! YAY Rays won last night! It was a good game and wwe could only hold out for 9 innings.

Shelli~ Hey Hey! Yay you got your computer back..... I am beat due to out new schedule so I crass at night, boo! I am working out again, did ya see that? Hopefully I will be skinny fro Christmas pictures!

About the clean house, don't let it slip now that your computer is fixed! LOL! Spend a little time tidying everyday and you will keep it that way! I do a 10 min tidy 3 times a day...... breaks it up only having a timer on for ten min.....yes i use a timer, I would be lost with out it! I time everything, computer time, phone time, dryer time, kids in time out, and all my chores especially

I have a Dell and I have had to replace the HD twice and learned that putting dig pics in CD is a must (our friend is a computer nerd) but it is good, got it 6 years ago, so not bad!

Marvel~ I cant wait to hear how your kids like UO! We are such Disney snobs (me not you LOL).......never been to UO and had Sea World passes and hated that place went twice and once was too many for us!

Siobhan~ Hey! Ds is doing great! And dad was at church today! He was not there the whole time but a short time. HE still has little energy and a few days ago he had to gao to teh doc b/c his BP was so low so they are working on his BP levels, him but he is doing well. Oh he has lost 60 lbs since 9/8/08, crazy huh ~

I am bummed for you about your Nov trip, hope the Dec one works ..... I know how much you LOVE the GF that I would go for GV.... but thats me! What happened to looking into the WL???? Sorry to hear about the schedule issues and hating DH new shift..... I am a dope, what time is first shift? Nice to see you on hear again, you gotta do some thing fro YOU at least once a day!

And I almost forgot Traci! OMG about those hornets! I will tell ya my kids would have had a heart attack, seriously! We had a dirt dobber nest near our front door a few months ago and one got "sucked" into the house when we opened the door and they went bazerk-o! It was lunacy, my neighbor was going to her car and heard them screaming and came over thinking we were being attacked or something!

Hey all.

Hi, Siobhan!!! Sorry about NOvember....I hope December works out. I don't know about CL at BC....I don't know about GV at GF either. What about a split stay?? Sometimes I just don't feel like I am at WDW until I am staying on the monorail. Crazy old me or does anybody else feel like that?? OK...no clue...what time does your DH work now? What is your schedule like? I have the 5:30 am wake up call with DD catching a band bus. It's creepy getting up in the dark. And even nastier is even on the weekends I GET UP. WTH? I don't like it one bit. I did lie in bed and read and finish my book this morn though. For like 5 hrs. Geesh. I had eye strain reading until about 7:30 when it got lighter out.

My parents came over to dinner and we played Apples to Apples for hours. It was a nice night. Except for DS....that's another story. Teens s*ck.

Comcast is coming bright and early in the am....yay. I could sleep in but nope...Comcast calling.

Mandy, lol...you know it. I am just always neurotic and this is nothing new. I live on the edge of panic all the time. If I wasn't about to call the trip off it would be weird.

What a nice day we had here in my part of the country.

We walked along a path that ran from a bridge that connects two large land masses of our city to a former military post.
The water was beautiful and the sun was warm. I wanted to take a picture but they have sign saying no pictures allowed of the bridge and that it is strictly enforced.

Anyway....Traci, is that a regular piece of paper those hornets are on? an 8 x11?

if so.. Holy Krinkles! they are huge!

Last thing we need to know about them... do they buzz as they fly around? Just the sound would have my kids screaming.

Well I better get moving. Lexi has her six months check up for her eyes today. 3 hour trip to Iowa and 3 hours home. YUCK! My new company vehicle does not have a DVD player so we are really going to miss that!

Overheard dh telling my newphew about our disney trip and how we were staying concierge. We are not...since I changed it to get free dining. I guess I will tell him when we get there. I thought I had told him but I do not think he pays attention to my WDW babble. I have nothing else to plan for this trip so now all I can do is wait.

Well my house hold was GRUMPY this morning! Attitudes and whining..... I finally made the kids all sit on the couch and had to have a screaming fit and told them to all get over there attitudes or everyone was gonna get a popped..... OMG, so stressful..... none of us are morning people

OK I forgot to mention that I saw Nights in Rodanthe on Friday. My sister has been dying to see this movie so she treated me to a sister date! I was OK, of course getting away from the house and I would have put up with any movie I have to say this movie makes me want to move to NC and live where the movie takes place! OMG gorgeous!
