I think I am finally getting better. The tooth is gone and my ear is almost clear. I am on clindamycin and vicodin and I feel way better than I did this morning.
I'm glad you are feeling better.
Kel, I hope the pulling of the tooth is the "beginning of the end" of this for you!! :grouphug:

My 6pm strike update said they are meeting again tonight.... I guess that means another 5:30am phone call to tell me about school...sigh :guilty: ... this poor kid keeps going to bed at night hoping for school....

On a bright note: The White Sox just hit a 2 run bomb to tie the Yankees!! :cool1:

:cheer2: I'm for anybody that beats the Yankees. Hope you get good news in your 5:30 am phone call.

I dont get this at all. Palin now refuses to co operate with the trooper investigation. How can people not see this as shady.

Palin won't meet with 'Troopergate' investigator

updated 20 minutes ago
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A campaign spokesman says Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin won't speak with an investigator hired by lawmakers to look into the firing of her public safety commissioner.

McCain campaign spokesman Ed O'Callaghan told a news conference Monday that the governor, the Republican nominee for vice president, will not cooperate as long as the investigation "remains tainted." He said he doesn't know whether Palin's husband would challenge a subpoena issued to compel his cooperation.

The campaign insists the investigation has been hijacked by Democrats. It says it can prove Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan was fired because of insubordination on budget issues -- not because he refused to fire a state trooper who had divorced Palin's sister

If you can prive you did nothing wrong then put it all out there.
The comittee that voted for this investigation included republicans. This woman is crazy and I cant stand her.

Kelly you're killing me with the Sara P talk. :rotfl: :rotfl: That article Linda pointed out sure makes her look like a weasel. :rolleyes1 You know how I feel about her..........:scared: Glad you're feeling better!:thumbsup2 FINALLY!

Mandy!!! That is so funny you mention tattoos. I have my 40 something friends that got them right around 40. I think they are cool but I wanted one around 18 and I was told by some wonderful guy friends I had that it is VERY unladylike and gives a certain impression.:rotfl: But...that was like 20 years ago and times have changed but I still have their opinions of girls with tattoos in my head.....and the other day I was at my McDs getting my drive thru Diet Coke...happened to just look up across the road and there is a NEW tattoo parlor.:rotfl: The thought did cross my mind....something cute on the top of my foot or just a little touch of something on my ankle.:cool2: I am also not up for the pain...and what if ya don't LIKE it? You're kinda stuck. I don't know. Too many obstacles to overcome. I thought the Mickey and 3 Minnies was cute...until I read your sister's thoughts on it. LOL!!! Back to the drawing board for a new idea!!!!!

Mandy,
even the sweetest kids go bonkers when they hit 12.....it's happening to my LUcy. Pretty frightening with two...I cannot imagine FOUR!:scared1:

Kristin, we made brownies tonight too!!! It's a good brownie kinda day. We just had them for dessert with chocolate icecream and hot caramel sauce.:goodvibes DH just got home from OH so it was a celebration....(LOL EXCUSE)

Talk to ya all later!

I just speak the truth, LOL. Seriously I mean if this woman was a democrat the republicans would be screaming this crap the hills. They would say she is not experienced. I loved the SNL skit where the fake Hillary said I love how people are worried about sexism now. Its a joke, when it was HIllary all the fox peeps like Hannity were like she needs to grow up how is she gonna stand up to North Korea but now cuz its Palin its not okay.

UGh they make me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just cuz I am a woman doesnt mean I will vote for her. I was hoping McCain would have picker ROmney then I might have voted for him. Picking Palin made my decision to vote Obama and give $ to the campaign.

Eve Gals....

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. When I got home this evening my DH had baked potatoes in the oven, steaks on the charcoal grill and a chocolate cake in the fridge. He was playing the illuminations song very loudly on the computer and had the table decorated in the princess theme. It was very sweet. I must hit the treadmill tomorrow, we still have a lot of cake left :rotfl2:. Have a good night - Lisa.

Kelly...talk about sexism...do you think the Fox guys like her because she's a "babe":rolleyes1 ...didn't one of them say that? :sad2: :sad2: Pathetic.

Andrea!!
I forgot you 're not feeling good.....hope you get over that bug. It's nice you get to open the windows and let some of that 80 degree fresh air in.:rotfl: It was cold here today! I had to shut mine!! Feel better soon!:flower3:

Dawn...wow...bummer of a day, huh? :guilty: Sorry about that. That flooding is just crazy. My neighbor was supposed to head to IN to babysit her sister's new baby but she couldn't get there....so many roads closed.:headache: Go get some rest. Mondays are always tough. MOndays and Fridays I am wiped. And that's just from me running kids around and doing housework....and dare I say...Dissing.:rotfl: I am all jazzed up on Diet Coke right now though. I also find that WOW I sleep so much better when DH isn't home!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I was up at 6 am today! :thumbsup2 Good thing too because Lucy overslept! We managed to get her dressed and ready and out the door in 8 minutes.:rotfl: That got my adrenaline pumping for the day.:cool1: LOL...and Tatum slept on DH's side of the bed last night.:rotfl2: AND I LET HER! Whatever. We'll see what happens tonight......I bet she won't even ask now that DH is home. He knows her dirty little secret.:rotfl:

Evening Gals :). Today must have been a baking day......I baked too......a chocolate cake ;).

Mandy....I'm not one for tats but DH keeps telling me I should get a small Mickey head on my ankle.....but I'm too much of a baby.....wouldn't be able to take the pain :rotfl:.

Dawn.....Same thing is going on here in IN....lots of roads closed due to flooding :sad2:. DS and I did some running around today (school was cancelled) and it took us forever to get anywhere because so many roads were blocked and we had to go around....which took forever :rolleyes1. So an hour or 2 of running took over 3 hours .

Lisa.....Glad you had a good birthday :flower3:.

Kristin.....I hope the strike gets settled quick.....that's awful what they're doing :sad2:. Hope it's good news when you get that 5:30 phone call :wizard:.

Chan.....WOW.....you're Wonder Woman to get your daughter up, ready, and out the door in 8 minutes :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Morning gals! I am trying to catch up on the thread. I have been super busy at work and with the kids. The flood claims are coming in and we are short two people so it is going to be a crazy couple of weeks. I will try to catch up when I can.

Kel~ Glad you are feeling better. Love your Palin talk!!:thumbsup2

Channing- I just read about your dog wetting your bed. :scared1:

Kristin- Let us know what is going on with the strike. Poor little guy. That stinks!

Lisa- Happy Birthday!! :flower3:

Dawn~ We have a TON of flooding here. I am back to rethining the Xmas trip. We have not gotten into the fields at all and we have a lot of them flooded. Gas prices are rising, the stock market is crashing and it is making me a little scared right now. Hope you have a better day getting around up there. I think you guys did get a little more rain than we did. Our road was flooded but opened back up this morning. My FIL is 83 and he says he has never seen water this bad around here.

Hi to everyone else! Have a good day! It is supposed to finally be sunny here today so I am praying it dries things out a little.

Good Morning Gals:flower3:

Kelly~ glad you are finally feeling better:) I was hoping McCain would have picked Romney too...

Illinois gals (Indiana too) ~Hoping for better weather for you all and no more flooding:sad2:

Kristin~Is that awful strike over yet???

Tatoos are sooo popular now...I dont know...the 3 minnies & the mickey sound cute though...

No baking here yesterday ~ we love brownies (especially with ice cream!!) and chocolate cake yummm...

Lots of food talk I was thinking about ice cream yesterday morning too....:rotfl: (starting Weight Watchers this week~need to lose some weight before the holidays-to gain it back again  ) I guess if I cant eat the good stuff talking about it will be the next best thing...

Its a beautiful day here today...time to open the windows and do some ......
chores:rotfl:

Have a nice day everyone...

Thanks V I like my Palin chat to, the woman annoys the heck outta me.
I know alot of people didnt like ROmney but if the primaries were just starting now I think he would have won the nomination. THe man is an excellent business man and I live in MA and did alot of turn this state around. Even though I consider myself a democrat I want to vote for the person who and do teh best job. Romney would have been great in my opinion especially with what we are facing now.

Back to annoying Sarah she is just that and all these articles that are coming out about her abuses of power she a mini BUSH. ALl the using personal emails so they cant be seen and the hiding of info in that new article. Giving jobs to high school friends and forcing out foes or firing them.. HMMM I wonder who that sounds like.....
I didnt mind the old McCain but this man is selling his soul to the base to win and I am sorry but when KARL ROVE comes out and says your ads are lies and you have to gone to far well thats WICKED scary.

Morning Ladies :coffee:.

We are finally seeing some sunshine today :sunny:. Hopefully it will shine long enough to start drying everything out ;). I'm all for opening some windows today too....just waiting for it to get a little warmer as it's a little chilly right now :rolleyes1.

Kristin ~ What's the status on the strike :confused3.

BlueSkies ~ You have the right idea and I'm right there with ya....lose weight BEFORE the holidays cuz ya know it'll be gained during the holidays :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Have a great day all :flower3:.

LOL :rotfl:.....I was never interested in football until about 2 years ago. My brother has been the defense coordinator (where his friend is head coach) for about 7 years and we started going to his games about half way through the season 2 years ago.......then last year we started with game #1 and didn't miss a game (other than 1 while we were at Disney :goodvibes). I guess I didn't get into it because I never understood the game :rolleyes1. But now that I get what is going on, I LOVE to watch it ;). And I guess I love to watch the Cowboys since my bro has been a DIE HARD Cowboy fan since he was 10 years old . And my youngest DS is the ball boy at the hs games.....which he thinks is the coolest thing since he gets to be right there on the field with his uncle :cool1:. So that's how I got into football.....otherwise I'd be right there with you :rotfl: :rotfl:!!! But I too love a good sale.......football isn't EVERYTHING :lmao: :lmao:!!!

Morning :surfweb:

What a morning! My precious DD2 decided she was gonna get up and play at 6 am. I tried to get her to veg and watch TV so I could go back to bed but she wouldn't........ She finally mellowed out and wanted to watch Dora. I was able to get back in bed at 7 and snooze till 8 but it was very light...... I am a bear if I don't get to sleep till 8, LOL! Then while I was fixing breakfast my DS6 decided to kick a ball in the house and it almost hit our TV. I told him to not do it again and not even 30 second later he did it AGAIN! This time it hit a lamp and knocked it over messing up the shade and busting the bulb. I was so MAD    I was in the kitchen cutting up an apple and walked over grabbed the ball and stabbed it popping it. I told him since he ruined my lamp shade, I ruined his ball. Call me a mean mom, I don't care. He is getting fresh lately and I am tired if it. I think he knows now I mean business. LOL! My hubby called right after the whole incident and asked how it was going and I told him what happened and he said and I quote "honey, I understand your frustration but becoming violent with a knife is not teaching the children the correct way to handle anger." I hung up in him.:rolleyes1 I think I am PMS-ing because all I want to do is curl up with a tube of cookie dough and watch POTC and look at Capt'n Jack. Mommy needs a me day! :rolleyes1

Sorry for the rant! If Kelly can rant about Palin then I figured what the heck!:rotfl:
JK KEL! ;)

I can't believe you guys up in the Indiana and Illinois are having floods. I hope you guys start to dry out :wizard:

V Here's a little :wizard: Sending good thought your way that your Chirstmas trip is not affected.

Kristin I hope the strike was solved last night, did you get a call this morning?

Ok few more things, Tats: I guess I am the only crazy one around here! I am such a rebel! :rotfl:

The Biggest Looser starts tonight! I am such a fan of this show and a TV junky so I am excited!

Talk to you later!

OMG.......my DH does the SAME thing......they just don't understand how frustrating it can be some times :scared:. My DH has gotten the click in his ear MANY times from me :rotfl: :rotfl:!!! And I had to laugh at the end of your post about watching POTC and Capt'n Jack. We were on our way somewhere the other day and something came up about POTC and I made a comment about Jack and my DS said..."Why does every girl go nuts over him???" And right away I said...."HIS EYES". Then DH and DS looked at each other as both just shook their heads like I was crazy :rotfl:. I told him I could watch that movie over and over and over again just gazing at Capt'n Jack :rotfl:. Then he said...."Ya know mom, that's not how he REALLY looks". I just cracked up :lmao: :lmao:.

But sorry you're having a bad day already :sad2:. I hope it gets better soon :flower3:.

How's your dad? I hope he's doing better each day :wizard:.
