Morning.......again!

DS got dropped off in the car drop off line! We made a deal, I took a dollar from his bank and told him if he got out peacefully he would get it when i picked him up. If he pitched a fit, i keep it and go get Starbucks on him!

Let's just say he got out peacefully!

I refuse to bribe him but taking his $$$ is worse to him than any other discipline including spanking! WE never spank him cause it wont work we take $$$!

Mom mom just called and my dads Coumadin levels are up to where they want them to be but they are keeping him a few more days now to see if it will stay up. They say his levels have been so inconsistent they do not want him to go only to come back. HE has MAJOR cabin fever, 8 days and counting in a hospital after a previous 10 day stay! I feel so bad for them. My mom went to CVS and got a big print off of a creative memory collage type page I did and emailed her from our Disney trip and has hung it on his room. It is huge 16 x 20! I love my dad and my dad LOVES my kids so he is having a hard time, this made him so happy!

BTW, YMMV = Your mileage may vary, which makes no sense in the context i have seen it used!

Mandy ~ I'm so glad your dad is doing better . I hope his levels stay up to where he's able to go home because I know how difficult it has to be for him to be away from his family....especially his grandkids . What a neat idea your mom had to hang that collage....your dad is probably thrilled to look at that every day . Hang in there and think positive thoughts .

That's too funny about your DS and the money . I hope he's having a good time at school .

YMMV.......I saw that on the Dis abbreviations too but thought it must mean something different because I didn't think it made sense either . But the way Chan was using it and kept using it just cracked me up ....and then she didn't even know what it stood for....which really got me going more .

Dawn that is funny....maybe we are ahead of the teen talk then lol as I looked on the DIS abbrev and it's there.


Well....it took a super hero to put it clearly to me....YMMV means YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY = you may take the meaning differently or something like that or take it any way you want type thing...I think. I guess it's just a poster's way of excusing themself for being rude or overtly obnoxious when they just mean to be sneakily obnoxious.

Mandy, that is great about Connor. I love that. Good job, MOM! Whatever works. I hope things keep getting easier for him. That is terrific about your dad and his levels. That has to be nasty being in the hospital that long but it's so much better that they're keeping him just to be careful....vs what happened last time. Especially since Gainesville is a cruise for him to return to.

I guess people don't mind bats and batman for the most part. OR they realize bats can't read anyway....I just thought of that while typing....so of course there won't be any no bat signs.

I guess that makes sense on the YMMV . Shelli's guy is creepy, isn't he??? But once you look at it a while it does make you laugh . But then I'm one who doesn't need much to get going......and you guys do a good job of making me bust a gut . I STILL laugh at your pics Chan whenever I see them.....don't know why I think those are funny . Hi gals!!!

I am doing a quick in and out since I promised myself that this house would be clean before the 1:30 CDT start of the Sox game. (Is it wrong that DH and I were both REALLY exicted at the outcome of last night's cub game? ) Anyway, upstairs is done so I need to get working down here. I want to pull the Halloween stuff out tomorrow and the house might as well be clean first!!!

Speaking of Christmas; Marci, i was thinking of moving my tour date for the MK but want to see the Christmas parade and every other day i asked about had a full crowd for the viewing area. They still had guides available but no room for the parade.


Im going straight from work tonight to a dog training class. not for my dog but a friend who asked me to go. i wish i hadn't because i wont get home until after 9 now. They have a very chubby mean dog... i call him the bloated crabby venomous dog

Can you believe i have between 25-28 ADRs for our dec trip. I cant imagine eating at all these places...and not one is a back up i think room service is going to be busy for us.
And as much as i promised myself days where we dont go to a park i have stuff planned for every day. I do have a bunch of free nights since we will be getting up early but I really have to plan some sleep in days...more than one too.


Since i still cant find more rooms ( yeah yeah, i know im repeating myself) i tried looking for a room anywhere from 12-31 to 1-3. I figure ill get rid of the RPC room on the 31st. We'll be seeing the NYE fireworks on the 30th so would it matter that much not to be at the GF on the 31st?
So far it doesn't matter because i can't find anything. I can only find a room for night of jan 1 st. but who wants to check in and out 3 times over 3 days.


Go SOX!!! they got out of that bases loaded inning!!!!

Marvel, I just used a huge box and shipped it UPS. Word to the wise....don't wait too long to ship it...I had to use 2 or 3 day guaranteed and it was EXPENSIVE>....I just kept procrastinating.

Ours was 4 ft tall and very full and really larger than I thought it would be. We were really happy with it. I pull it out every Christmas here. I love Christmas trees.

Hey just an FYI....LUcy and I watched the Christmas parade on Christmas Eve. DH and DS and little DD had gone to Epcot for something...and we went to MK and it wasn't too crowded at all on Xmas Eve. We had front row viewing in Frontier Land. I love that parade. We met up with the rest of our family later and it was intersting.....DH and the crew saw bomb sniffing dogs in and out of the monorails. I guess that is standard during super crowded times but it really surprised them to see that.

I hate mean dogs. I have the sweetest kindest most teddy bear dog you'd ever meet. Funny this came after the bomb sniffing dog stuff. I am just writing as I read. Bummer you are committed to going with to train a nasty dog.

I do believe it. I get embarrassed when I do call for ADRs because they look at what I have and gasp and say WOW YOU HAVE A LOT.....duh...that's what the stupid dining plan has forced me to do. I would rather be spontaneous myself...but we can't be...and we aren't fans of the counter service places. And when you go during busy times who wants to wait in line at a CS for 45 minutes and then have to worry about finding a table.
