My mom, sister and I adopted a kitten from a shelter back in October, and ever since, I'm been addicted to seeing her! I live on my own, but I seem to stop home every day just to see that little ball of fur. She has only meowed a few times, otherwise she squeaks :lovestruc

Just love those nose kisses and face rubs, anyone else feel this way?:rolleyes1

Me too! My cat Nelson rolls over on her back against my chocolate lab, nuzzles in, and talks and talks.

Awww!
She is just the best, so cute, so fluffy.

I agree. I love my furbabies, but after watching Hoarders tonight, two will be my maximum amount. One for each arm, since my children are teens now, lol.:lmao:

I have 3, 1 who has hyperthyroidism and won't stop meowling :headache:, she's Siamese which doesn't help. But, I love them all. I have a 7 month old kitten and she's my little princess! :cutie: I spend more money on their food than I do my own!

Well, we have 6 so I guess we like them enough! :)

Enjoy your new little one.

We have two dogs (who practically own the house) and 3 barn cats...who own everything else!

Normally "barn cats" tend to be aloof loners who don't particularly care much for humans, but not my 3 kittes. Itchy, Scratchy and Lieutenant Dan are all hilarious and love people more than anything else in the world. They meet me at the back gate of the yard at 7am every morning and follow me around the farm as I feed our 22 horses (not easy when you have 3 cats vying for my attention and crying to be pet).

They are as much my babies as the dogs.

I agree! I've had cats in the house (one at a time) forever. The last time I had to have her put to sleep as she had inoperable spinal cancer. :( I thought it would be a long time before I could bear to have a cat again, but there was a situation where I was asked to take one in and reluctantly I said I'd give it a trial run. She never went back to her original owner. She's such a sweetheart, so affectionate. I hate to even think of anything happening to her. I know I would want another cat, but also know that with us wanting to semi-retire in a few years it might not happen as we're going to want to do more traveling and it's harder to do that with pets. But I just can't imagine a house without a cat.

:rotfl2: Love the names.

I have three kitties and adore them. We have a kitten now and I especially look forward to waking up or coming home from work and seeing her, since kittens are so darned adorable (and crazy!). She drives the other two insane since she wants to play constantly.

After waiting 14 years to find the right pet (my children are allergic to animals and birds), I was passing a Staples one Saturday where they were having a pet adoption. My furbaby Shadow wrapped his body around my neck and started purring. I was hooked:love:. Fortunately the kids aren't allergic to him at all ( he is long haired and sheds little). Now my kids carry him around like he's a real baby, and he loves to play (at 1 1/2 years old, he's still a kitten), but unfortunately at 15 pounds he can't wrap himself around my neck as easily (although he tries!!)

<------See that little guy in my avatar? That's my Nando. (Fernando) He's a 3 year old long hair Chia. So spunky and cute!!! He's my baby! He is reeeaaaallllyyy spoiled....he thinks he needs a toy everytime I come back from anywhere! LOL.

Mine is just so cute, and I tell her that. The little faces she makes!
Here's some pictures of her
