If i want to book a holiday for 14 nights from 1st sept do i put till the 14th? will this check us out on the 15th?

Been booking holidays for years but just cant think straight today

You put the day you would be checking out which is the 15th Sep

1st Sep - 15th Sep = 14nights (15 days)

thats what i thought but i was doing it and then thinking iw as doing it wrong!! i knew i wouldnt but just needed reassurance! thanks
