Having a blizzard

The snow has tapered off, but the wind is howling!
The snowblower is the best money we ever spent - other than DVC, of course!

school closed here on long island ! is everybody out of the blizzard yet??

DS is very upset this morning. School is open. We had 14.2 inches according to the evening news.

well spent the day yesterday in my disney sleep pants, with my POTC shirt and drinking coffee from my Grumpy mug.

shoveled out our 2 cars and driveway, thankful that the plowman didnt block us in, he saw that i had cleaned a path out into the street and turned his plow straight when he passed my driveway.

i spent a lot of time looking at disney sites and reading many posts here at the DIS.

well here this monday A.M. as i am going to get ready for work, late shift, all i can think of are 2 things: How is my commute going to be? and how many days to our upcoming trip to WDW


so ready am i to go to WDW :jumping4:

Do you think that today's snow is more than '78? I also thought that we got like four feet in '78. But I was a kid then, maybe I'm not remembering correctly. Anyway, the news on Channel 5 said this blizzard would be more for you guys out near Boston than in '78.

I think we got less than 78. they say this storm the snow accumilated faster, but from what I remember in 78, it was very fast. but we did get more snow in 78, and we didnt have school for 2 weeks. I didnt go to work today, too much snow still on my road(I live out in the woods).
