Haven't Received New DVC Card

Don't have mine yet either. How hard can it be to send out new Member cards? Just doesn't seem it should be that complicated.

I agree that it is pretty pitiful the way DVC has handled this 25th Anniversary member card thing. I got mine with no issues many weeks ago but to see here and from other members I know that folks are still waiting is a little crazy. Even with the scenario of just one member on the deed getting a card, one would think every member would have received at least that one card by now.

For those of you that have NOT received your new member card, please don't forget that you can download a digital version at:

www.disneyvacationclub.com/newcard

It will take you to your log-in for your DVC online account. Sign in scroll down a bit and you'll see a digital version, click "Read More" below the card and then you can take a screen shot of it and save it to your photos on your phone. This way you can have your Member Card ready any time you need it for a discount, etc. It will be good for 3 months.

***Each member on the deed MUST have their own DVC log-in account in order to get a digital ID card with their name shown on it. In many cases only one member, usually one spouse, has the log-in and does all the vacation planning. In this case, the other spouse or anyone else actually on the deed, will have to call MS for an activation code to create their own DVC log-in. And they MUST use a different email address.***

This would be us. I called and they are sending my DH card out. No need to create a separate account.

When I called they told me I just had to wait and I should get it sometime in April.

One only need create a separate log-in account to download the digital member I.D. For those needing or wanting their I.D. card faster than MS can mail it out (& then the wait to receive it), the digital download is a very nice option.

Hope you guys get your new member cards in the mail soon!

The DEADLINE (if this info is correct), has now moved from 1-2016. to 2-2016, to 3-2016.... and now to 4-2016. Really - there are people that need to loose jobs over this.

Really?!!? We're talking about plastic cards here. There are people dying of starvation, torture, etc.
People lose their jobs daily due to downsizing.

Yet you feel that this incident....people not getting a plastic card....should strip someone of their livelihood ? This incident should put a family in crisis?!

I haven't received my new card, yet I don't think it warrants people not being able to support themselves due to losing their job over it.

Just closed on our resale contract at the beginning of March. Here is something strange: got my membership welcome packet the other day, but haven't received a member number or card in the mail. I looked at my membership card online and it says "member since 2009". Is this when I set up my disney account online?

No cards yet here in Wisconsin and we leave Tuesday for a two week trip. Would have been nice to have in advance but I already downloaded a new one and will bring the old one as backup.

I looked at my membership card online and it says "member since 2009". Is this when I set up my disney account online?

I don't know if the "member since" date means anything. I just became a member in December and my digital card says 2002. I think that is before I set up my disney account online (it is before I had kids, way before my first trip).

That is likely the date the original buyer purchased and could end up changing for you although it doesn't always. My online account though is strange - it's a date both after we became members and definitely after the original contact dates which we did have on our old cards. But our new cards are ok - yet different than online. It's a bit puzzling but really not a big deal.

NO cards in PA yet. I even inquired about them a couple of weeks ago when I called MS to get the DDP for our July trip and they told me that we should have received them, that everything had been mailed out already. She said she would request a new card for me but not my DH (even tho we are both on the contracts), as it was "against their policy". SMH.

I have not received my new card either but not really worried about it until I need to use it.
