Haven't Been in 4 Years, IDK How to Plan Anymore!

If they are booking a package through Costco, they will get premium character dining vouchers that could be used at other eateries instead of the character meal. That would help stretch the $$$.

We stay at the Ramada Maingate/now Grand Legacy. While we usually go off season, we've always picked Deluxe-View rooms (used to be the "better" ones), for ~$95-$110/night. Hubby has Aarp card, Aaa - both offerdecent discounts. Once you boox your flights - I didn't catch if flights involved - you can search for prepay & save offers at hotels. We got a free night with this option once. Our Pres week rate is going to avg $108/night.

Also, if you pick up a major Sunday paper that offers coupon inserts, Denny's almost always has some kind of special coupons - even in HI, we brought a B1G1 coupon to save a littlt $$. We tend to see more 20% off ones when we get the Sun paper inland before our DL days.

Also, Ihop will carry coupons too in the paper. No shame in bringing in a coupon!!!

Lastly, check AARP if one of you is old enough - always 10% off denny's last we checked, AAA may offer discounts too.

Our kids are young enough we got ihop on a kids eat free period, so 4 of us had dinner there for ~ $25. Check whatever hotel you stay at too - ramada usually tucks in coupons with the key cards for harbor blvd places.

So definitely many ways to save $$ out of parks. We prefer to stay in from open to close, so on non- park days, we try to eat for less.

Oh - if you have a car, get Subways made & bring in or go to Vons & get a delicious deli sandwich to bring in for lunch. Just a few options!!
