Haven't been around much lately....

My dd has been pretty sick. She's been to the dr 3 times in the last week and a half. Yesterday dr said she's got lesions on her tongue and her throat. Poor little thing. She's so sick. Dr. says it's a viral infection so there really isn't a whole lot he can do. She's on a cough medicine, and a medicine to numb her throat, and a nasal spray since her poor little nose is so conjested that she can't even blow it. He's done 2 cultures to rule out strep and her ears look good. I just wish she'd start to feel better. She just isn't herself.

It's such a drag. We went through a week with my DS running a temp (sometimes as high as 103.2) with no other symptoms, no strep, no ear infection, no wheezing. He finally cooked up an ear infection and a 'touch' of pnumonia and is on antibiotics and is starting to feel better. Not telling you this to worry you, just keep an eye on her still if you don't see much improvement. THis festered for almost a week before something finally reared it's head.

Poor thing...I hate it when dd gets really really sick and there isn't a thing you can do for them....breaks my heart.
