I'm wondering if you could share some info if you have traded with RCI. I am interested in finding out if you book at an all-inclusive resort, do you then purchase some sort of package for the food and ammenities? How does it work and how much does it cost?

Also share where you went if you traded with RCI, all-inclusive or otherwise. I'm hoping to do this soon and looking for any info!

Thanks for sharing!

Not me- I don't like the RCI properties as IMO the quality is no where near the ones we have at DVC. This is based solely on my experience renting those properties with cash incentives ( I am not an RCI member) and I'm sure others will disagree. I was very disappointed when the switch was made from II to RCI for exchanges.---Kathy

::yes:: I did and it was amazing! Didn't do an AI though as they are too limiting for us. Do a search for threads started by me- I have a link with pics in that thread. I would and will trade out again in a heartbeat. :thumbsup2

I don't trade DVC, I have better and cheaper options to do so. However, there are many great options, just investigate much as you are doing now. The Timeshare Users Group is about the best single place to do so, don't rely on DVC MS or tripadvisors. I'd only do an AI at a place that was somewhat isolated or where I didn't want to go off property like Jamaica, DR or possibly Cozumel. Personally I don't do AI because is most places, the restaurants are a major part of our exploration. AI costs, quality and what is covered vary dramatically as do the prices. Some can be as high as $4000 for a 1 BR for a week and many charge based on private occupancy rather than number of people registered. Just make sure you know what you're getting into prior.
