Have you thought about using your magic bands at home?

I got a Mickey waffle maker for Christmas this year (got it last night) so I made Mickey Waffles for breakfast this morning. The power/heat light is a Mickey head that lights up. My 3-yr old was watching me make breakfast and when he saw the head light up red he exclaimed "Oh! We need to touch our Mickey Bands!" (We went in October to the World.)

So has there been times when you thought, even for a split second, that you needed to use your Mickey band after you got home?

Haha! Before we went on our last trip, I thought to myself; "Would people think I'm strange if I wore my band to "break it in?" Ended up not having the nerve, but I thought about it!
:confused3:lmao:

For our trip over Thanksgiving I had ordered a watch face to put on my magic band. My real watch battery died recently and I've worn my Mickey band watch to work!

Where did you get a watch face for the band? Was it a working watch? I wish they would come up with a magic band watch. I'd buy one.

I'm craving waffles now....just sayin'. Hell, I'd settle for an old fashioned square one.

I'd totally buy a watch face for my magic band, to eliminate wearing my watch in the parks.

However I wouldn't buy a waffle maker....don't like pancakes or waffles. LOL

At work, we have to swipe ID cards to get through doors on various floors of our building. (Confidential client info protected from the public.) My first day back after vacation - when I had to dig through my purse looking for my ID - I remember grumbling "why can't this just be done with my magic band?" And actually, since then, I've thought it, too. I see lots of people digging through pockets/wallets/purses for their badges and a magic band would be so much easier!
