poll coming...

I have just started looking online for some ideas and will start ordering tomorrow!

I bought socks for everyone while they were 55% off. I also bought some clothes at Hollister for my 14 DD.

I bought a sweatshirt for my sister.

I think I still have a loooong way to go

I started getting things in August and I still feel like I have a ton left.

I bought my kids a skateboard ramp, some baseball cards, and some new basketballs, DS 8 I bought him spy stuff, magic kit, gamboy games, DS 13 so far just a video game, but I am going into his skateboard catalog tomorrow to order all the things he circled. As far as my extended family goes, I am just writing down sizes right now, until I see something I like. I already received my Christmas photo cards from Disneys Photo pass, and I bought some wrapping paper and bows. Oh, and I bought DS 5-1/2 months a fisher price puppy that talks and a music CD. I need some more suggestions for him. I still have WAY too much to do~! LOL

So far I have gotten DD5 the princess baby swing, Leap Frog phonics, Christmas Polly Pockets set. And I have my grab bag gift for one of the parties I am going to.

I have some gifts bought and wrapped already, but with 10 kids, 3 son in laws, DH & granddaughter to buy for, I still have a lot to do.

My Christmas Club money just became available to use today. Yea!!!

I am done!!! But to be fair all I had to shop for was my kids. DH and I are not exchanging gifts this year because of all the money we are spending on our upcoming WDW trip. And when it comes to extended family we draw names or play some kind of fun gift exchange game, but we don't do individual gifts. So much easier on me and my budget! :goodvibes

I have such a love/hate relationship with Christmas because of the whole gift thing. I love Christmas with all the food, fun, family, friends, decorations, etc. I hate the pressure of finding that perfect gift. Or rushing out at the last minute because someone got you one that you weren't expecting and you have to return the favor. Ugh. Bah Humbug!!!!!!!!!!!

I got DD9 her snowboard...........................thats it

My DH just stands back and watches. I actually enjoy doing the shopping. I do a lot online. We also have 3 birthdays in December - on the 3rd, 24th and 26th. December is an expensive month.

I've already started shopping but still have A LOT to get... I'm lucky though, I only have my daughter, her boyfriend and my mother to buy "big" presents for... then I have my two best friends and my work friends, who are the hardest to get presents for. I usually make homemade chocolate candies but have to be ingenious as to the plate/container as some of my coaches are bachelors, plus some I've worked with for 9 years, so I don't want to repeat!

We're planning our Holiday party and we have a yankee swap for $20 there. Last year it was all practical gifts and mine was the most popular... 90's Trivia! Everyone swapped for that! :teeth:

I started today. I thought I would just go into Toys r us, and check things out. Well $478 later, I thought I was going to have a heart attack in the car afterwards! :rotfl: But, unfortunately that is just a drop in the bucket! :earseek:

Ha, I don't even think of going to malls in NJ in December at all. You have to be nuts just to get a parking spot!

Most of mine is done already.

Ours has been finnished since June/July but we still seem to find small things whenever we go to the mall for the kids LOL so it really is never truly finnished. It will start again in Jan.

I'm nearly done...:)

I only have my 2 adult sons to buy for. We took my DH's parents, his son, son's wife and the 2 grandchildren on a cruise in Oct. Going to send the grandkids a gift card since they are just 11 and 12 but only for $25. We paid for the cruise, all the excursions, the tips, the hotel the night before the cruise, the parking, you get the picture. If it were up to me I wouldn't buy them anything for the next year. I'll just send them a card with a picture from the cruise in it. :rotfl:

So far I've only bought one gift and it's for my Mom.
I found a personalized sweatshirt on-line. It is perfect, just the cutest thing! She has 8 great grandkids, so I put them all on her shirt. Each one has a different face, appropiate hair color and name. I got it at www.skkgifts.com The price is really reasonable too! She's gonna love it!

I just wish I had ideas for everyone else!
