Have You Sent Extra Payments to DVC?

Anyone know where would I send an extra payment to go towards my principal balance? Do I need to call ahead of time to let them know I am doing this? Has anyone else sent in extra payments and how much have you sent to make a difference in the length of time you are making payments?
I am going to try and send in at least an extra $1,000-$1,500 each year. If I did the math correctly, I think this will shorten the 10 year financing to 6 or 7 years. We took the 10 year financing and put over $3,000 down. We have the minimum amount of points on a new contract.

I am going to try and send in at least an extra $1,000-$1,500 each year. If I did the math correctly, I think this will shorten the 10 year financing to 6 or 7 years.

On line you will also be able to look at the amortization schedule to actually see how well your extra payments are working toward your plan of paying off the loan early. It's one of the nicer features of the web site.

dont know where this belongs but i just purchased 170 points for 47 yrs
