Was there supposed to be a cartoon short at the beginning of the movie. We went to see it today and were surprised there wasn't a Pixar short. We also waited until the very end of the credits to see if there was anything extra, but nope, nothing.

We saw it at the drive in and there was a short of some sort at the beginning. I didn't get to see it though.

I would talk to your theatre manager.

Partly Cloudy IS the short that goes with UP.

But yes, there isn't anything at the end or anything.

I'm going to see UP tomorrow evening and I really hope they show the short at the beginning!! I've heard a lot of people say it was missing at their theater. Weird...:confused3

We saw the short at the beginning-it was one of the best shorts I've seen from them!:goodvibes

No tricks or teases at the end of the credits though.

I have heard that not all 3-D theaters have the short. However, I haven't heard of anyone watching in 2D not having the short. Partly Cloudy is cute, and if seeing it is important to you, you might want to call your theater in advance.

We saw UP today. We saw the short.

Actually, there was something at the end. If you watched the ending credits, the pictures corresponded with each of the ending credits. Very cute!

Yes, there is, it's called "Partly Cloudy" and it was so wonderful! I'm sorry you didn't get to see it, that's odd.

We just got back from seeing UP. Loved it! The short was really cute. We all laughed so much watching it. Hope you all get a chance to see it.

Our theatre did not show the short. I plan to call the theatre and find out if it was a fluke or complain if it was intentional.

Three times! And all I can think about is how much I want to go again!

My theatre ran "Partly Cloudy" (the short) with both the 2D and 3D (same multiplex, different screens). It's cute, and gets a lot of laughs.

There are no "outtakes" or "company play" or anything like that during the credits, but there are some cute and funny illustrations of the characters doing various things through the first portion of the credits. Through the rest of the credits, there are little doodles and notes by Russell, along with his various Wilderness Explorer badges. Just cute stuff.

I guess we'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD to see the short.

Of course I watched the credits! (you never know, you know?)

I meant that there wasn't a "thing" after the credits. Like an extra scene or a funny parting shot or something.

We saw it in 2-D and it had "Partly Cloudy" before the feature.

Both "Up" and "Partly Cloudy" were excellent!!!:thumbsup2

You should check iTunes - they usually put the Pixar shorts up there. I got Presto (the short in front of WALL*E) there last year and I watch it on my ipod all the time. :thumbsup2

I saw UP in 3D and we got the Partly Cloudy short - it was so sweet!

Thanks, but I'm one of the very few who doesn't have an iPod. ;)
