I think it is a great idea and very thoughtful (I am so glad there are good people like them)...

However, one thing comes to mind. If a person is in such need, how are the accessing the internet. I understand that many libraries and community centers have computers but I would think that someone having financial difficulties, ebay should/would be the last place they need to be.

I would think that the money spent a month on the internet might be somewhat important until they get back on their feet.

I am just afraid that many people who respond may be dishonest and are trying to get on on a free thing. (so sad)

True about someone not having easy access to the internet, but they could know of someone who is in need. And most if not all libraries have free access.
